Unfortunately this Radisson property has seen better days. It is in need of a major revamp. The swimming pool was closed. Nothing about this was on the booking site. We badly wanted to swim after hectic day, but could not.

Room was excellent. When I asked them for a room with 2 beds they obliged and provided the room that I asked. The room is in excellent condition and everything was working. Service also is very good. I just tried their buffet breakfast and it had so many items to choose. Overall i recommend this hotel to stay in Varanasi

Very disappointing experience—bordering on the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. We rented four rooms for a university study abroad group. The rooms smelled like mold. We found blood on the bed sheets. Staff members would show up to the rooms with unelicited things (like a plate of random, chopped vegetables) then refuse to leave unless they were tipped. One of the students was groped (not by staff, or we would be pursuing a lawsuit) in the very small elevator, which took forever to move between floors. The restaurant food was acceptable (though overpriced), but the wait time for food was excessive (45 minutes for coffee and dessert!). The laundry service was quite good. The one or two positives in no way make up for the dreadful experience overall. I will never stay at this property again and urge others to look elsewhere.

We had booked a business class room thinking the quality of the room will be better but the room wall had paint peeling off and ink marks on the wall. The toilet flooded the bathroom when it was used. Bathroom sink was clogged and even after calling front desk to fix it, it never was fixed. The place was always loud like fish market, kids were running around and shouting at each other but no one from staff bothered to ask them to stop even after we complained about noise to front desk. All in all this place was a dump.

Radisson Varanasi - THE WORST HOTEL

This was the most pathetic hotel I have ever seen.

They call themselves 5 Star, but they are not even a 2 Star hotel.

Zero Covid protocol. Poorly and very casual staff, who were argumentative.

Rooms have paint peeling of because of damp. We checked out within 15 minutes of checkingin.

Looby is dingy. People roaming in the lobby and the hotel with no masks, and the hotel placed profits over lives.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Only plus point is that we had place to stay

Not good. As we entered hotel we had good feeling that now we are at reddisson. I have requested for connecting room and was being told by manager thta shortly it will be done but for two days no body responded. when we entered in wash room , it was very badly managed and no tap was working properly. infact i was surprised to see the comod seat it was very close to wall and facing towards wall itself. I figured out wih very difficulty that how to use that. My kids used swimming pool but it was very much ill maintained. not body was there ... overall it was not wotrth for money,, i spend ~39000 INR in two days was regretting.

Booked king bed and got twin
There was no shuttle to airport as advertised. I had to book a taxi.
The room didn't have in room dining menu and when asked a person delivered a torn menu. He also barged into my room to check if there was one hidden in some drawer. He didn't find any and left with apology. It was totally unnecessary to check each drawer. He was very intimidating. I felt unsafe and scared.
The food was terrible too. Please avoid this hotel. The pool clealry needs cleaning.

1. I booked a king bed and got twin bad. No availability of king bed. This was disappointing.

2. There is no shuttle to airport complimentary or otherwise. The description online is incorrect. I had to book taxi. Expedia should validate with hotel and make effort publish accurate information.

3. This hotel is max 1 star. There was no in room dining menu and when I asked the reception. They sent a person with a torn menu and that person pushed his way inside my room to search for the room menu. Then apologised and left. All along while I had just woken up. After this experience, I just packed and left without breakfast.

4. The dinner place was horrible. The food was stale and spice levels were crazy. Whether you eat veg or non veg, the marination and spices were the same.

5. Staff is arrogant and oblivious to your presence.

We chose Radisson Varanasi for our recent family visit.
It's international hotel chain so we expect that standard. Bathroom tap was leaking.
We had horrible experience at the coffee shop when we went there for lunch . The cutlery on the table was not cleaned properly & soup bowl that my brother took was unclean.
To top it all there was a cockroach on the bread cutting board near the knife.
It was such a turnoff. I couldn't eat properly after that and didn't eat at hotel after that. Also we were presented the food bill without any apologies.
I had to order in room breakfast reluctantly because I was travelling with my mother who is 80+ & was not comfortable taking her around to other better nearby hotels.
Break fast I ordered came after 50 minutes when I called again to remind my order.

Really Really Accomodating

From the time we walked in until we left, the people in the hotel were there to serve us. They helped us with all our needs and any question we had. We came early and the y let us check-in and we left late because of our flight and they let us stay later. It's a great place away from the mess of Varnassi. You can catch a tuk-tuk to Varnassi and still have the comfort of staying in a nice, safe, and reliaible place.

I will not be staying at the Radisson again. Only if the Ramada or Gateway are not available. Overall, not a stylish place, not bad not great. Food was subpar. Pool turned green. No real place to sit outside. Total need for a make over. Typical of the age of hotel. Like I said, it is not a place to brag about. But compared to Varanasi at least it somewhere to calm down. For the money I paid 120$ cdn. not bad at all. So, the price is ok, everything else not so much. Oh well, what can you do. it was quiet to sleep. Go if you want I will not. Enjoy,
the filth and traffic. lol

Far from ghats, good for >2days stay only

Hotel situated in very inconvenient place if your travel is for visiting ghats and temples, rather the trafic is so bad that time taken to hotel to ghats will drain you out. Suggest stay near ghats for stay of 1-2 days. Radisson is good place only If you have very limited place to explore per day in >2days stay. Not up to Radisson experience of else where.

Quirky hotel. Victorian was the decorators aim I think, spartan was the actual decor. Restaurant and pool are nice. Staff helpful. Door man helped get taxi's and tuk tuks. Internet was very slow but reliable.

There are not many options in Varanasi for a 4 or 5 stars hotel; this hotel is offered as 4.5* but to be honest, this would not be more than a 3* anywhere else. The facilities are very old and need some maintenance, the rooms and furniture are not very clean. The restaurant and lobby are fine, but again for Varanasi you might want to check other option but dont expect to get any better...
