While expectations weren't overly high for this stay, the bare minimum of cleanliness and amenities wasn't reached. A condom and random medication found beside the bedside table, a stained and poorly smelling couch, and a facility in generally poor condition were of particular concern. The ice machine wasn't working, and staff are hard to find (mostly not at the front desk with a bell to ring or number to call, but it took multiple tries to get someone's attention).

The staff at this hotel were horrendous. Wasp nest on porch they wouldnt do anything about. Harassed us every morning at 8 am to \"clean\" room. Refused a receipt when I asked for.one upon check out. Told me I shouldn't of stayed there and wasnt obligated. They de activated my cards every night but one. Had to continue going down the stairs to get key card re activated. Both of them. Housekeeping pounding on doors when you say your sleeping they continue untill you physically get out of bed. This was so unprofessional. I was there for 5 days and felt harassed by the staff and extremely uncomfortable by them. Very bad access to get bags in and out of hotel. Such a stressful stay not worth a pennie a night. I feel like I should be reimbursed for this non refundable nightmare.

This hotel was our last stay on a week-long drive trip. The property is dated (1970's) and understandably tough to keep up. We were disappointed that we were given a room with a broken bathroom sink - litteraly a hole in the bottom of the sink rusted through. There was a lingering odor of sour milk. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is also so nice that Sandman Hotels have restaurant connections.

When we pulled in, we saw a staff member look out the lobby window, but when we walked into the lobby we had to ring the bell for service which was odd and not welcoming. They had to turn on the ice machine when I asked about ice.

This being a small town, everything closes by 7 PM. Though we reached very late in the evening, the front desk was very prompt in giving us the service. The property is old and aged but the rooms are clean and we’re comfortable to stay in. Obviously dents in the walls and chipped porcelain and paint. Check in was odd, show up and no one is there and no bell to ring, had to go get my phone to call the number and then the manager came from his office. He was very nice but he said he saw me and assumed I was going to the restaurant even though it was closed that day. No elevator so if you have mobility issues or lots of things (a child with lots of items) ask for a first floor room when making reservations. Would stay again if I was passing through

The property was old and dingy. The beds were good. The hot water in the bathroom sink came on for about 15 seconds, then the tap made a terrible grinding noise and the hot water stopped. I didn't want to have a shower and then find out that there was no hot water. For some reason, it did work the next morning. Also, the coffee was chocolate flavour. I'm not sure how many customers would want to have that in the morning. Also, no staff on duty in the morning.
