Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel

Da Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Zur Einkaufsmeile Florida sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu fuß zu errreichen. Der Empfang war sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber für mich ausreichend da ich ja Buenos Aires Erkunden wollte. Sauberkeit o.k. Frühstück auch o.k. Die Koffer durfte ich im Hotel lassen als ich für 3 Tage nach Iguazu gefahren bin.
Alles in allem. Dieses Hotel würde ich wieder buchen.

Wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consists of ham slices, cheese, croissants, pastries, cereals, juices, coffee, milk. You can order scrambled eggs for an additional $2.00. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hot water for a good shower. Also has a bidet. Close to dining and shopping options. Within two miles of most major attractions. Air conditioner a bit noisy, but didn’t really bother me. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Waldorf hotel overview

Very friendly helpful staff. We just used the room as a day room after disembarking our cruise ship and waiting for our flight home. The hotel is located conveniently close to Florida street and had a safe to store our valuables including our passports.

The smallest room I've ever seen.

Great location, close to Puerto Madero and a variety of transportation services. The hotel is extremely old, has not been renovated in centuries, the room was the smallest I've ever stayed on. The bathroom was a joke and the shower I can't even describe with words. Terribly dissapointing for the price.

I have to say I had the worst experience with this hotel in Sept. 2015. After a long day I arrived at the hotel just to get the room I booked through hotels.com. They refused to let me use the wifi to pull up my booking. Thanksful t-mobile was not charging me for data in Argentina and so I sat on the streets waiting for my booking to upload. Finally I got in my room and it looked nothing like the photos. The room was tiny, dirty, and smelly. I went down stairs and asked them to cancel my reservation, they offered me another room. I told them no I do not want a room please cancel my reservation. Then the told me they could not cancel it. Figuring that Hotels.com would refund my money I said fine and left. They told hotels.com that they are refusing me a refund even though they know that I did not stay at the hotel.

Be wary travels. Book here at your own risk.

Stayed in Waldorf hotel in transit from Montevideo ferry to an early am flight to Ushuaia. The location is very convenient (only a few blocks) from the ferry, and also close to AEP airport (10 mins taxi ride). The hotel is very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The building itself is old and the rooms are very small, but perfectly served the purpose for a good sleep while in transit in BA.

We needed a cheap hotel in the center of the city for two nights and this was fine, although we were not very impressed. The room was small and not well equipped, the breakfast was very ordinary with cheap products. Staff was efficient and generally helpful. So overall it was acceptable for our needs but I would look for other options in the future.

Great Location

I selected this hotel based on it's location to Florida St and the Galarias Pacifico - both of which were just blocks away. The hotel itself was probably a chic hotel in it's days, but now seems to be just one-among-the-many. The rooms are small and average compared to present-day hotels. The morning breakfast however was very nice to experience.

Great Hotel for the Price

I was staying a few days in Buenos Aires before embarking on a cruise. This hotel is in the center of town, close to everything! Shopping, restaurants, parks, tour offices are within walking distance. Just don't expect a luxurious Waldorf because you will be disappointed!

Rooms are small. Lobby wifi is free, but you only get 20 minutes gratis in the rooms, and room wifi is not available until 10:00 am. The furniture is old, but the mattress was firm, although pillows were too thick for my liking. I had to change my room because I shared a wall with the very loud elevators. None of these details affected my stay because I wasn't spending my time in the room anyway!

The staff was extremely accommodating for all of my requests. They even held my luggage for me after I checked out because I was leaving the city for a night and had no place to store it before I returned. Leonardo, Sergio, and Mariana are top-notch!

Quiet hotel after a long flight

We arrived in Buenos Aires early in morning after an all night bumpy flight. We were exhausted. The Staff was just wonderful. We checked in early and was a blessing to be able to eat something light and go to sleep after 30 hours of no sleep. The hotel is clean and quiet and quite pleasant. I cannot recommend this hotel more if you are looking for a safe, quiet place to rest. Waldorf Hotel and Staff, you are wonderful!!!!!

Great neighborhood but not a good hotel

If you are looking for a cheap hotel in a great neighborhood, this is it.

If you are looking to stay for business, not at all. You will get a bed and that is it.

Don't even bother looking for an iron (the hotel does not have one nor will help you getting one), laundry service will clean your clothes but will fold it so much that you will need to go for an iron service outside the hotel.

The room are clean but shows many signs of deterioration. The rooms to be remodeled.

Breakfast is very basic, little to no variety and little nutrition.

Os quartos são pequenos mas atendem nesse quesito, já que mal paramos por lá. O problema mesmo são as paredes, finas demais! fiquei em um corredor sem saída onde haviam 3 quartos, um de cada canto, ou seja, o banheiro de um deles era na parede do quarto, bem na parede camas. As 4 da manhã quando chegavam da rua, ligavam o chuveiro e dava pra ouvir cada gota de água batendo na banheira e fazendo eco no quarto inteiro, parecia que estava lá dentro inclusive. Não peguem os quartos dessas posições. O café da manhã não vale a pena ser pago, tem muito café mais completo na região por preços melhores e bem acessíveis. No mais, a região é muito boa e próximo de vários pontos legais, que dá pra ir andando.

O único ponto positivo é a localização e poucos bons funcionários que ali trabalham. Café da manhã com poucas opções, limpeza precária tanto no quarto, quanto nos corredores de acesso. Falta de organização na recepção e na orientação ao turista, pois nao encontraram a reserva com facilidade, nao souberam passar informações sobre a cidade e exames para a covid. O quarto é bem modesto, mas não merece 3 estrelas. Está muito abaixo da categoria ofertada.

As instalações deixam um pouco a desejar, o prédio é muito antigo, construído na década de 50. Porém o atendimento é impecável, funcionários super atenciosos, principalmente a dupla que atende no período da manhã, um rapaz de nome Leandro e uma mulher com cabelos grisalhos, super gentis, quando retornar a Buenos Aires, com certeza ficarei novamente neste hotel.

O Hotel não condiz com o apresentado nas fotos. Reservei por sete dias e fiquei um dia e meio até conseguir um airbnb. Sem conforto, quarto minusculo, descarga quebrada, porta do banheiro não fechava, roupa de cama manchada, cortina não vedava e a claridade, moveis velhos enfim não consegui permanecer no local.
Cafe da manha repetitivo e não vale a pena.
Funcionarios do atendimento legal.
Eu não recomendo foi decepcionante para quem tinha programado a meses as ferias. Chegar no quarto cansada e não ter o minimo de condições e conforto não condiz com o valor pago.

A localização é excelente, o atendimento dos funcionários também é muito bom. O conforto que aparece nas fotos, não é encontrado no hotel. O banheiro precisa de uma modernização. Alguns quartos foram reformados, outros não. O preço é bem convidativo. Só ratifico para não esperarem o conforto das fotos. Fiquei hospedado 6 dias agora em dezembro, em todos o café da manhã foi o mesmo, não mudaram nenhum item. No final não aguentava mais. Resumindo, o café é muito razoável.

Estava muito frio em Buenos Aires, 10 º, e calefação funcionava muito precariamente já que toda hora desligavam. O quarto gelava e esquentava várias vezes durante a noite. Reclamei várias vezes, sem êxito e só solucionaram quando entrei em contato com a hoteis.com.

La atención fue buena, el desayuno bien. La habitación lejos de ser la que se veía en la foto, se ve renovadoy espacioso. Las instalaciones son viejas y muy chicas. No aclaraba que el precio que decía debía pagar en el lugar era sin IVA. Yo creía que debía pagar un monto y me cobraron 21% más de lo esperado.

En helg i Buenos Aires

Jag bodde här för många år sedan via en gruppresa och nu behövde vi ett rum för natten och hittade detta. Nära till allt.
Rummet för 3 var väldigt litet men ändå ok.
Första vi fick göra var att ringa receptionen då en av sängarna var väldigt ostadig. Blev imponerad då det inte tog många minuter innan en man kom upp reparerade sängen..
Incheckningen tog lite väl lång tid och uppkopplingen till wifi tog lite väl lång tid.
I övrigt var det ok. Bra frukost.
