What a wonderful resort. The staff throughout were amazing but special mention to Vivien from Guest Relations, Immaculate in the Liquid bar and Poram the shuttle driver who went above and beyond in all our dealings. Poram, the bus karaoke will live long in the memory!!
The over water villa was spacious, clean and had all amenities, including the sharks and manta rays in the water immediately outside. Incredible snorkelling from just off our dock at room 412.
The food was varied and delicious. Pier 6 was incredible for the quality of both the included al a carte meal and the tepanyaki.
We had two trips to the spa for the included treatments. They were so good we added a back massage and facial for the second. Amazingly relaxed for days afterwards.
Overall a fantasic experience that we hope one day to repeat. Thanks again to all the staff at the resort for making it such a memorable stay.

This is a first class facility who know how to look after guests. From meeting us at Male Airport ,our week on the arrival and finally walking us to the departure counter nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing stay at Atmosphere Kanifushi. By far the best vacation of our lives. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning views and plenty of relaxing spaces. Our water villa was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable.

There is so much to do on the island that one week wasn't enough.

What stood out most was the exceptional service. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable, so it’s impossible to highlight just a few!

We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back!

A Truly Memorable Stay at Kanifushi!

We absolutely loved our holiday at Kanifushi! The resort is stunning – from the lush surroundings to the beautifully maintained facilities, everything was picture-perfect. One of the biggest highlights for us was the convenience of the all-inclusive offering, which made the experience feel effortless and relaxing from start to finish.

The quality of service was truly outstanding. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. A special shoutout to Hamsi, our dedicated host, who was nothing short of amazing – warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.

The food was another standout. The buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that changed daily – a real treat for food lovers.

The only small downside was the snorkelling – the resort doesn’t have direct access to a barrier reef, so if you’re keen to explore underwater life, you’ll need to book an excursion. That said, the experiences available off-resort are still worthwhile.

Having bikes available to ride around the island was a lovely bonus and made it even easier to soak in the beauty of the place.

Overall, Kanifushi exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

I have been to many all-inclusive resorts, but none as nice as this one. The big difference maker was the people who work there, so friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in an over the water, sunset villa. The room was great and the view was great.

Arriving by seaplane was an added bonus to the trip. It felt like we were arriving at the \"White Lotus\".

The food was great and the drinks were even better.

Don't hesitate, just book it

From the warm welcome on the arrivals pier to the staff sending you off on the seaplane back home, the holiday at the Atmosphere is seamless and stress-free.

The island is stunning, the sea life abundant. The staff are always smiling, friendly and efficient.

We had the over-water villa and it exceeded our expectations. Everything that you can think of was provided for, right down to the beach bag, flip flops and sunscreen.

The food is amazing, the snorkeling tours are great, there is plenty to do and see on the island and I would highly recommend the all-inclusive package.

We had a fantastic time, wonderful island! Visited with my 2 children and we really enjoyed it. Lots to keep everyone busy, we really liked the snorkelling. There were lots of fish close to the beach and the coral was in better condition than some other islands we have visited in the Maldives. The beach was also great, not much sharp, dead coral so made access easy and the lagoon was great for the children to swim in.
There was a good choice of excursions including sunset fishing and a sunset cruise. Evening entertainment included live music, outdoor and some live shows like fire dancing. We really like the shark feeding every night at the end of the jetty.
There are two good sized swimming pools on the island, one is adults only but both pools were never crowded.
The Spa offers various treatments which I really enjoyed.Good choice of cocktails and drinks at the bars and the restaurants were also nice. Snacks were also included and there was a great choice. We loved the fish and chips and Sri Lankan street food, these were virtually meals in themselves. The buffet restaurant was quite small compared to some other island however it didn't feel over crowded and there was always a good selection to choose from with various cooking stations. There were several other restaurants you could book if you wanted to try something different, we ate at the Sunset restaurant one evening and the food was amazing.
The staff were fantastic, every single person was very helpulf and friendly

The south indian filter coffee, cocktail by Sonal and snacks at Lantern Bar were the highlights. Niyaz our GRO was very quick to respond and resolve isdues. Lovely idea to have the option to hire bikes too. A luxurious treat !! Highly recommend

Our stay was amazing, to say the least. Everything was perfect, especially the staff who were very friendly and would always try to help even if it was not part of their responsibility; if it would make our stay better, they would not hesitate to do it. I went with my mother and daughter, and we really had the time of our life there. The food variety was exceptional, my daughter who is quite a picky eater loved their options.

The property and our room were always kept clean. The staff were very friendly and were always there when we needed assistance. They had shuttles that drove you around the island and took you to different restaurants. I did not feel they had too many options for people from western countries. Their buffet had mostly south East Asian food. They had variety of options for water activities and excursions that includes visiting different island. Overall, It's a wonderful resort and a great honeymoon place.

Property is great, although very large. You will do a lot of walking!
Water villa with private pool was fantastic, truly special.
Food and drinks not bad, but I wouldn't class as 5-star.
My main issues were with staffing. The resort is clearly way under-staffed. Some of the staff were wonderful - they were mostly the foreign workers. Some of the staff were down-right awful - they were mostly locals. Large bars usually had 1 bartender and 2 servers, for about 50 people, sometimes more. We had to wait long times for drinks. Often, had to go to the bar repeatedly to see if they were ever going to make our drinks. That was dreadful.
This is certainly not a 5-star resort. I'm inclined to give it 3.5 stars, but some of the staff were truly great. So, I end up rating it a 4-star.

It’s a great resort, it’s about 2.4km so if you like to walk there is a lot of walking if not they have the buggy bus and it goes around the island so every 15 minutes a bus will pass by, you will download an app to track the buses and check how far from your location. It’s not really accurate so sometimes you have to wait a little more . My villa was a sunset villa and it was at the end of the island so I have to wait more, you could also get a bike I think it was $7 a day (I think that should be included with the room) . My villa was nice but I think they need to upgrade the furniture also they have seating area on the right side of the room and the Tv all the way to left side so if you want watch tv you have to sit on the bed or the floor it didn’t make since.

The pinnacle of relaxation, comfort and service. The staff genuinely cares and labors night and day to ensure you don’t have to worry about anything. The payment process was strange, but after arriving and enjoying my time it was well worth it. From the moment you arrive at the Maldivian airport, you are taken care of and do not have to worry about a thing except what great food to eat or what exciting thing to do until you are escorted back to the airport on your way home. You will not be late for anything and you will not dislike anything, but if you do they will not rest until it is resolved. I cannot recommend Atmosphere Kanifushi enough. Arif the GRO, Akash the housekeeper and Gobi the bartender are the best!

Great resort, staff & amenities. Its a huge resort and you have to take carts/shuttles to move around and admin does a good job of providing that facility. While their all day dining 'spice' is little okayish in terms of ambience & food, they have great speciality restaurants which you can go for dining (few complimentary as per package). Their main 'Liquid bar is pretty too. One missing point is there is no easy access to beaches via their main bars. Open beach access are little secluded and there are no food/drinks options on beach side.

They have amazing spa too where you can have a complimentary session if you are staying for minimum 4 nights. The sunset water villa with pool felt more luxurious as compared to sunset beach villa with pool in terms of look & feel of the room.

They have plenty of options to keep you engaged through out the day so you really need to make up your itinerary upon landing or decided whether you want to keep relaxed or go for different activities. Liquid (Main bar) had plenty of party/DJ/dance night options but residents don't turn up much which makes it a little dull.

Atmosphere Kanifushi was beyond expectations. They really take care of their clients from the moment you exit the airport until the minute you leave on the sea plane.

The property is just beautiful. The staff was always friendly and polite. Our main person, Arif, was extremely helpful in assisting us. The staff at Pier 6 for breakfast, Veg for dinner and Spice were just nice and accommodating.

The staff at Liquid and Sunset and the spa were phenomenal.

I would without a doubt recommend this place to everyone.

What an amazing stay! This was one of our bucket list destination and we were blown away by this property. You cannot leave this place with a heavy heart as everything was perfect. PERFECT.
We had a sunset villa with pool, the condition, amentities, bedding... Were stunning.
There are many dining options on the resort, and all were delicious. I was sincerely astonished by all the choices and food option. Im sure we all came back with a few extra pounds.
The staff was the most agreable, kind, caring and helpful i ever experienced during all my travels.
I would rate this place 1000 out of 10 and i deeply wish we can go back one day!
