Mi experiencia en general fue positiva gracias a la amabilidad y disposición del personal del hotel, quienes fueron muy atentos y colaborativos durante toda mi estadía.

Sin embargo, me sorprendió encontrar varios detalles de mantenimiento que no corresponden al nivel ni al precio de uno de los hoteles más costosos de Bogotá. Me hospedé en una Junior Suite y encontré una mesa con la superficie notablemente manchada, una lámpara grande junto al televisor sin bombilla y desconectada, y la chapa de la puerta del baño en mal estado.

Son detalles que afectan la percepción de calidad y cuidado de las instalaciones. Considero que el hotel tiene un gran potencial y un excelente equipo humano, pero necesita prestar más atención al mantenimiento de las habitaciones para que la experiencia esté a la altura de la tarifa que cobra.

Great hotel if traveling to/from El Dorado. If you are traveling deep into Colombia, this hotel can save money because you can choose any flight by staying here for a late arrival flight or depart from an early morning flight. The shuttle service to the airport works 24 hours and is great.

It was my first time staying at this hotel. I chose it because of its proximity to El Dorado International Airport, and the airport pickup was easy and convenient.

However, the check-in process was unacceptably slow. Despite having three front desk employees present, only one was actually helping guests while the others stood around talking, creating an unnecessary line.

Outside my room, there was a coffee cup with leftover coffee, clearly left behind by a previous guest. Housekeeping had obviously not done a proper job. I had to pick it up myself and move it to a tray in the hallway near the elevators.

The most serious issue—and honestly unacceptable—was the shower door. The locking mechanism malfunctioned, and after finishing my shower, I was trapped inside for about 10 minutes. I had to force the glass door open to escape, which is extremely dangerous. A faulty glass door that can trap a guest is a major safety hazard and should never happen in any hotel.

The only positive part of my stay was the room service food, which was excellent.

This wasn’t our first stay at the hotel, but this time we stayed here for our wedding. We hadn’t even told the staff at first. They figured it out when they saw all the decorations in our room. From that moment on, their attention and care went above and beyond anything we expected.

Absolutely no regrets staying here. 10/10.

I also know undoubtedly that even if it wasn’t our “wedding hotel”, their service would be top notch as it’s been before.

The staff was respectful and helpful in my experience. The room was very clean and updated.
The restaurant and bar staff were very nice. My dinner the steak was hard and dried out the remaining plate tasted good. Waitress was incredible my compliments on how she returned often to ask how things were. The baggage handler was nice and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and super close to the BOG airport.

This hotel is a solid option if you miss a connection and your next flight leaves early in the morning. The location near the airport is definitely its biggest advantage, and the shuttle service is a major plus.

There isn’t much commercial shopping or entertainment around the area, so don’t expect to walk anywhere interesting. The rooms are comfortable and fairly priced—nothing luxurious, but good value for a short stay.

One downside is the limited food and beverage schedule. The bar and restaurant close at 11:00 PM, leaving only room service available. That feels a bit early, especially for travelers who just missed a flight and might want to unwind with a drink. In the morning, the restaurant closes at 10:00 AM. They do offer service at the bar afterward, but I waited about 20 minutes and no one even offered water. The lobby coffee was also cold and low quality.

Would I stay again? Probably yes—mainly because of the convenience and airport shuttle.

Overall, the stay was good. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lobby bar was excellent with a great atmosphere. The spa area was also really nice and enjoyable.

However, the food at the restaurant was disappointing. The carpaccio was very thick and seemed old. Service and attention from staff were okay but not outstanding.

Very nice and great hotel. It is very close to the Airport in Bogota with shuttles every 30 mins. Very convenient if you are traveling in ir out of Bogota. Very clean, food ( room revise) is great in addition they have a restaurant and bar in the first floor. Customer service is excellent.

The room was fine, the first thing I noticed was the door lock did not work the door literally opened as I went to touch the key too the sensor. The tv had only 1 channel as it seemed they hadn’t paid the cable bill. I ordered 2 waters from room service that never arrived I called room service again and they had left the phone off of the hook so as to not receive calls. I went down stairs to look for waters and instead of an apology for the service the man at the front desk made excuses for them “there just too busy” is what he said. I realize everything costs but instead of being comped waters for the terrible experience he had to have the 20,000 pesos to cover the water hopefully they use it to fix the door and pay the cable bill

This was the worst stay I’ve experienced in all of Colombia. Save yourself the trouble and stay at the Hilton.

Most definitely not a 5-star hotel, and not even close. 3 stars maybe. I stayed here several times, and I had mixed experiences. Today it was a poor one. They strictly enforce a 3-pm check-in if you booked through a third party. It's 1:30 and everyone else is checking in. They want an extra $40 to check in an hour and a half earlier, which I declined (so I took the time to share my experience).

The reason to stay at this hotel is because it is located 5 minutes from the airport and it has a shuttle. They give you a number to call to be picked-up at the airport, but no one answers. Very disappointed.
Then they offer you upgrades and discounts for food, but the service is extremely slow and the food is just OK.
The room was oK.
The shuttle the next morning was fine.

I had a short stay at Hotel Movich in Bogotá while waiting for my connecting flight to Chicago, and the experience was excellent. The location is perfect for travelers in transit, and the hotel has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.

The staff was very courteous and professional, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. My room was spotless, quiet, and well-equipped — perfect for getting some rest after a long flight. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was essential for staying connected during my layover.

I didn’t have time to use all the amenities, but the lobby and room service left a great impression. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Movich to any traveler looking for comfort, efficiency, and friendly service during a layover in Bogotá.
