The facility is clean and well set up which is directly across the train station with easy access, however at late hours of the evening it is not a pleasant walk back to the hotel. The hotel is a 10-minute walk away from all the center activities and coming back at late hours did not feel safe.

We had a great experience at this hotel! A special shoutout to Stephanie at the front desk—she was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, and not only did she allow us to check in before 3 PM, but she also kindly stored our luggage for free while we waited. The room was nice, the property is well-located, though very busy outside. We appreciated the breakfast and the lounge. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled worse than anything I've ever encountered. We complained and a cleaner was sent up but she was only able to cover the smell temporarily. We requested an air freshener since they said they were unable to move us, but we never received it. Despite complaining four times over the course of our stay, the hotel never offered any kind of compensation and denied we had ever complained. The cleaning person received a call from the room two floors down while she was in our room. We suspect it may have been for the same reason as it had to be the plumbing causing the smell. The smell was so bad that we had to close the door of the bathroom and open it only out of dire necessity. We stayed out of the room as much as possible and I slept with a perfumed scarf over my face. It absolutely ruined our stay. So disappointed.

First day there we heard loud knocking sound. But we believe it was just the person cleaning and the next room until we came back and heard the noise still. When told and showed the front desk about the knocking sound. They just dismissed it as the restaurant underneath us was moving chairs. We told that it’s impossible. Unless they were moving chairs on the walls and ceiling. We heard the banging all while on our trip. Very disappointing. It was only one Spanish lady that was very nice and friend. She worked behind the bar.

Do not stay here if you are female! The congregation of men who loiter outside and under the hotel room windows is very uncomfortable and not particularly safe. They are there 24/7 and its only when the Military are patrolling do these men move on. Unfortuntely the location of this hotel is good - across from train and walking distance to key areas but slum and noise outside this hotel is not worth it. Find somewhere else.

Extremely convenient location - literally right in front of our tram from the bus station. They will hold your bags for free if you still have some touring to do after checkout. Bed was comfy, and the AC was decent. An odd smell was in the lobby, but our room was unaffected. There was noise from the street, but that’s to be expected in an older building in a busy part of any city. Overall it was a good experience.

We had brought our toiletries to the hotel. Only to found out on the last day, my toothpaste and lotion, shampoo and facial wash’s covers were all thrown away 😭. One of our friends had a nightmare experience as one of them had his bag stolen at the lobby. Just be careful and be more vigilant even if youre inside the hotel. Pickpockets are everywhere

Overall good experience. Close to everything. I would suggest to reach out immediately to the reception if there is any issue. For example, I didn't realize that the window was open when I arrived, so a lot of noise from outside made my night a little uncomfortable. First day our room was smelled really bad, second night someone tried to break into our room and the front desk reception tried to tell me I’m making it up this is at 11:00am-11:30pm the reception person was in on it he said he was the one knocking on the door and then I called the police and he then said he didn’t knock on the door… and I’m making stuff up. Friendly staff and attractive hotel, but the room they put us in had only a Murphy bed (folding). It was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on, and I spent 20 years in the military, so that is a pretty low bar.

Great location and breakfast. the hotel is next to the train station. I got a single room (one double bed) and the room was spacious. Even though it’s next to the elevator, the room was quiet. It faces the back of the hotel, so no views but also no road noise. The bed was a little hard though. Breakfast was great. The room has air condition. The shower doors didn't close properly and water leaked on the bathroom floor (at least the shower had doors).

The hotel is across the street from the Central Train station- very convenient if you plan on riding around Firenze or other areas. The property was nice, and the staff was top of the line. I had packages shipped from the hotel with no issues. The only negative was there was a strong bleach smell through the whole building. And because it is across the street from the train station. There were people who appeared to be on drugs across the street.
