Dusty room, listing had a hot tub but it was a spa you had to pay for. They had a play area for the kids which is why we picked the hotel, but the main attraction ( motorized cars” was closed due to “maintenance issues”( i.e. the batteries caught fire) no hand soap so if you wanted to wash your hands at the sink you needed to first go into the shower to grab soap from the dispenser.

Very outdated no phone charging terminals , room was cold so had to ask for heating, on asking the staff said no one else has asked for heating, room was very dirty in some places and the bedding had seen better days

The room décor has a classic touch, and everything is very well maintained. The variety of TV programs and movies is impressive, making it easy to relax after a long day. The only minor drawback was that the remote control wasn’t very responsive from the bed, but overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I have stayed at this hotel over 20 times but the last 5 years this place has gone down hill fast.
old dirty wallpaper in the rooms, pealing at the edges. very limited amenities in the room. Bath towels no longer white, kinda grey and edges of towels frayed. Room safe was removed, leaving a clear footprint from where it once was. Closet drawers were not clean. Shower and bath had hair in them. Carpet in hallways are heavily stained. Handicap elevator not working, AC in hotel lobby not working. The gym next door is no longer there and the swimming pool has been removed.
Breakfast buffet was super limited, same food for 6 days with no variation. They used to have a nice omelet bar but no longer available and only fresh fruit were orange wedges. The bar on the second floor is now closed and a substitute novel robot bartender thing is now in the lobby...?
Overall, I regret staying here and would choose Evergreen, Splendor, Moxy or another Marriott Bonvoy property over Tempus. Never again Tempus, never again

This Hotel Check in time is 4 PM (which rare already), and the staff still delayed my check in time to 4:30pm. Make me stand at their front desk half an hour (without reason / explanation). And, continue provide rooms to other customer. Do you know to switch a room for an on time customer ??

And, The room windows is very dirty, with have Bird Poo stick outside.

Great staff, disappointing stay.

The staff were super friendly but the hotel is a little old and and the breakfast was not great.
My main gripe with this hotel is that the swimming pool and gym are not part of the hotel (one of my main reasons for staying there). The pool and gym are located in a members health spa in another building. (you have to leave the hotel to get to them). It's not easy to get into the pool and it was full of non hotel guests. The experience was not enjoyable and i would not recommend it.

We decided on the hotel based on the pictures, but the room and building we stayed in was across the road from the new building that was advertised. The room was fine but the hotel rather dated. Buffet wasn’t great, and masks weren’t required, with much of the food without barriers. The hotel is fine but not what we were looking for.

Definitely got ripped off by the pictures!! NO F*ING WAY this is a 4.5 star hotel... maybe a 2 at most! Breakfast was also disappointing due to limited options.

Expect this place to be extremely old.
Our shower handle kept coming off, toilet barely flushed, and shower door wouldnt shut...

Try to book rooms in the newer building. Many photos are taken at the new building. The two old buildings were converted office buildings, so rooms near the ventilation fans have humming vibrating sounds, such as my room. Thee staff came and said the next door was even worse....

The design of the hotel is somewhat old. We were given keys instead of cards to room. The front desk staff looked rushed and hurried during check in but there wasn't anyone behind us. When I requested for later checkout beyond the 1pm mark as my flight is close to 6pm, I was given a flat answer it will be chargeable at TWD800 per hour. Unlikely to book this hotel again as it is not within good walking distance to shopping, at least 20 min walk.

Very good hotel in lovely Taichung

This is a very good hotel with helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable. It’s in a great neighbourhood with lots of good places to eat and shop nearby. By far the best feature is the outdoor swimming pool hotel guests are able to use in the health club next door.

Great sleeping. Room temp spot on. Choice of pillows. High-end bed linens. Easy to communicate in English with staff. One little issue in which wireless internet did not work. After retrying an hour later, decided to call assistant manager. Internet was working within 5 minutes.

Luxury at an Awesome Price

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and highly recommend it to others who are looking for a nice hotel at a great price. This location is older than the Tempus hotel across the street but the rooms are bigger when we compare the two or the layout was better. Our group was split between the two hotels.

This hotel is warm, the staff was nice, the room amenities were great. I like the soap they use and they have cotton pads and q-tips.

Also, their breakfast buffet is great. It basically have everything you can ask for. If you are unable to make breakfast, a breakfast box can be requested. We had to leave early one day and got one. However, the breakfast box was meh compare to their buffet.

房間內的住宿用品可以再增加一些，目前提供的太過精簡，浴室內沒有提供洗手乳，房間內也沒有鞋拔，是內燈光也太過昏暗，床頭檯燈只能用拔插頭的方式關燈。但是，洗澡時的水量非常非常的充足，溫度也很穩定，能洗的舒舒服服！！就一些細節可以再作提升改善，會有更好的住宿體驗

客室のアメニティがシャワールームにシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープの3つしかなく洗面台にはコップのみ、部屋の床のカーペットも少し汚れれていたり、以前と比べてもがっかりです。チェックアウトの時対応していただいた日本の東京農大を卒業されて日本語が堪能な台湾人の男の子は凄く良かったのが救いです。

1.停車設計，車道上下同一個動線，加上車道不寬，遇到會車有點尷尬。B2是平面車位，B3是機械式，車格寬度有分大小，需要留意一下。
2.房間，走廊，餐廳整個設計偏老舊，甚至有不少地方都已經泛黃變色、脫漆等等
3.餐廳認真建議可以考慮移到高樓層處，畢竟飯店地點位處台中市中心，用餐過程有城市景搭配還不錯。若無變更，至少現有的餐廳擺設跟燈光能重新設計過，不要是昏暗的，這真的有點可惜了那些餐點
4.我只有使用早餐，餐點大部分口味都不錯，但我認真覺得餐點種類不一定要多，量也不用很大，只要提供的每樣餐點有認真被烹調，客人肯定都會很喜歡，誠心建議“現成的肉包、燒賣”，這種跟廚師功力一點關係都沒有，擺著又食之無味的餐點，非常可以移除不再提供！

老台中人這次入住覺得感傷，曾經的五星級飯店怎會變得如此殘破？姑且不論硬體設備未翻新 (例如衣櫥櫃門鉸鏈壞了未修、淋浴間玻璃門的矽膠防水條掉了未補等)，飯店管理可說是不及格。
首先入住時，乍看非常高級，有四張辦公桌像銀行接待VIP一樣負責辦理入住手續，但實際上人員訓練不佳，好像沒有SOP一樣，未說明客房打掃服務必須掛清理房間的吊牌才會清 (一般飯店是預設清潔，不要的話掛請勿打擾)，也未主動說明停車場使用規則。
入房後更是驚訝於灰塵多到像很久沒打掃過一樣，每個平面 (桌面、櫃子枱面等) 都有一層灰塵，辦公桌上甚至有像食物的碎片。雖然了解為了環保而不附一次性用品，但浴室洗手台連洗手乳都沒有是哪招？洗手還要跑到淋浴間取用沐浴乳。
致電櫃台請求清理服務，結果等了大概半小時才有人來，而且只拖了一台吸塵器，其他清潔用品都沒有，為了等他拿抹布，大概又等了十分鐘。
唯一像五星級的大概只有瑰珀翠的沐浴乳、洗髮精和護髮乳，以及Q彈的枕頭。
可免費停車，但不保證有車位。大型車停B2、一般房車停B3，這次雙十連假住了三晚，回飯店大概都晚上8、9點，很幸運都有車位。
位置算方便，鄰近頂何厝公車站牌，附近也有很多Youbike站。
