The location was excellent between two metros stations; each about 6 minutes walk. Very close to museums, bars, restaurants and shops.

The buffet breakfast (7-10 am daily) was simple but good - bread rolls with cheese or ham and butter; cornflakes, muesli, yogurt, tinned fruit, tea, coffee, juice and water.

The room was comfortable and very quiet at night. Fairly spacious with two arm chairs but no fridge or kettle. It was clean and cleaned daily.

Free excellent wifi (as everywhere in Vienna).

Great hotel, close to all the main sights, a fantastic price, great breakfasts, free internet, lots of useful information on display. I would book here again. Occasionally a little noisy at weekend nights if you keep your windows open.

Expected a 4* hotel so was greatly disappointed on arrival to find a small, run down old hotel. We were given a small double room (not consistent with booking via Expedia). Only positive aspect was the friendliness of staff.

The hotel is very basic. Its clean enough, but clearly due a refurbishment. There was no fan, never mind air conditioning, so it got rather warm in the room. However, if youre just looking for a place to wash, sleep and start the day with a functional breakfast, this place is fine.
The hotel is just on the edge of the centre and midway beween three metro stops. Its close to the museam quarter. There are shops, a starbucks (suprise suprise) and the classic cafe sperl nearby.
The hotel is functional and near the centre for a reasonable price.

Great location, but little more to be said for it

Great location: 10-30 minutes' walk to Vienna State Opera, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Ringstrasse. But a very noisy neighbourhood, at least on the weekend we were there: groups of young people hooting and hollering at all hours on their way to or from their revels. Don't think about driving there yourself: the streets are labyrinthine and confusing, and the hotel provides no parking (contrary to what their hotels.com listing said). The room was adequate (comfortable bed & pillow, good WiFi) but minimal: no A/C, no desk or desk chair (just a tiny wooden table and 2 wooden chairs), no Kleenex, no trash can in the bathroom.

I would stay here again

The hotel was in a great location. Shopping, restaurants, and the city's sites were easily accessible either by walking or close U Bahns (metros)/buses. The staff were nice and they held our bags for us so after check out we could still hang out in the city. They also gave us clear and concise directions when we asked.

Great value for the price!

This is a great option for travelers on a budget. The hotel is clean, friendly and conveniently located to the University and Museum Quarter areas, among others. The staff is friendly and helpful: I needed the safe in my room to be re-programmed and it was done very quickly. The breakfast buffet is not luxurious but surprisingly fresh and tasty. Overall, this hotel is a great value for the price!

A real find. Spent a great holiday here.

We stayed here for three nights last September. The location was close to Old Town and within walking distance of Wenceslas Square and other city sites. It is a small hotel located on a quiet street. Small lobby but room was of adequate size. The hotel staff was very helpful in answering our questions and advising us on places to go and how to get there. They arranged a walking tour for us and arranged for transportation to the train station. (We probably could have walked but it was a rainy, cold morning.) The breakfast buffet was very nice and had about anything you would want to eat - all served in a pleasant location and in a very appetizing manner. If we ever return to Prague, we will book at this hotel.

This hotel has a central location - convenient for main shopping areas and the wonderful outdoor market. It has seen better days - dim lighting, shabby carpets, tiny lift. The most disappointing thing was the limited range of breakfast and the breakfast room being so tiny you struggled to find a seat and were jossled as people approached the buffet.

Nice location, buty very basic amenities

The hotel location is just minutes walking from the main Museum complex, which is great. However, the hotel amenities are very basic: No shampoo, for example. Worse, our room had no AC or fan, just one window. In August, that can be deadly. Thankfully we got a cold front on our second day, but the first night was VERY uncomfortable.

Far Better Experience than Anticipated!

We are a family of three (husband, wife, and 15 month old child). We had a far better experience in this hotel than many of the reviews posted by other reviewers. When we arrived (at 7:30 AM), they already had our room cleaned and ready for us to check in. This was an excellent introduction to our stay with them. Furthermore, the room was clean and cozy! Although it wasn't big like rooms in the US, I did not feel claustrophobic.

As per some of the reviews by other people, there are some things that are blatantly old about this hotel. The wooden floors have a bit of separation to them, and there are places where the trim is cracked, broken, or missing. However, these minor little details hardly detracted from the fact that I felt comfortable and safe during my entire stay. I had no problems with the bathroom, as it was EXTREMELY well kept and in good condition.

The one thing that really made this hotel top-notch in my opinion was how the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us when our son became ill. We had already checked out of the hotel (kept our bags at the hotel for the day), and when we were walking towards our destination, our son ended up vomiting quite violently. The hotel staff was more than happy to either see us back to our room or to use the spacious lobby to allow us to clean him (and my wife) up so we could head back out. They were very kind to us and made our stay a true delight.

In my honest opinion, this deserves a rating better than 1.5 stars, but it's totally worth the stay! Great rate and easy access to most of the excellent spots in downtown Vienna! You won't go wrong!

Quiet location, fair price

Ten minutes on foot from the centre, the hotel is in a quiet location and has a simple yet pleasant ambiance.
We appreciated the \"paired down\" services: no fancy TV channels, no tea maker or shampoo, because of the friendliness and very reasonable price.
Recommended for simple travellers such as ourselves; not suitable for physically disabled as you need to mount stairs before you can use the lift.

Just what we wanted

What a pleasant surprise this little hotel was and so much more than a 1 1/2 star. We found it was ideal in so many ways - it's within walking distance of the city (15 - 20mins to Stefansdom), has breakfast provided (cereal, rolls with ham & cheese, coffee & hot water) helpful staff (ready with maps etc) and has to be the quietest hotel we've ever stayed in. On the downside there was a hand held shower and no tea & coffee in the rooms but the positives far outweighed the negatives and we would be very happy to stay there again.

Quiet, pleasant and central

This is a basic hotel that is extremely close to the Museum Quarter and Hof etc. As Vienna is quite compact that means you are close to the major sights. The hotel staff were pleasant and even though the rooms are a bit old, they are very clean. Breakfast was fine. The hotel was very quiet. Just up the road there is a major shopping street and if you want to eat out for a good price try Vapiano which is very close.

Ideal Visitor's Hotel

This is an unpretentious no frills hotel in a very central location, handy for the museums, metro system and trams, though given the location we walked to most places.

There is no dining room but there are restaurants, pizza places and bars within a minutes walk. Continental Breakfast is provided and very good it is too.

The staff are friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. There is no wifi but there is a (free to use) computer and net connection in the lobby.

Though central, the location is tucked away and so very quiet. I'd stay here again without a second thought (and given how lovely Vienna is, I probably will).

A hidden treasure

When booking the hotel I did not know what to expect, a very very affordable hotel where we booked a family room for 4. We needed a place to sleep and the 4 days we were there we spend seeing the Christmas Markets and the many wonderful sites of Vienna! The Hotel should have at least a 3 star rating and I would highly recommend the hotel if you are looking to spend your money in Vienna instead of the hotel accomadation! We saved at least 50% on accomadation compared to many other 3 star hotels!!

Staff are all very friendly and ready to assist you at any time!!

Well done Terminus! You made our visit a lovely stay and we will be back!

Zum Zeitpunkt meiner Reise wurde das Hotel renoviert, was jedoch vorher nicht erwähnt wurde. Ich wurde ein paar hundert Meter weiter im Hotel Admiral untergebracht.
Die Einrichtung war sehr rustikal, die Zimmertüren haben eher wie Türen zu Abstellräumen gewirkt.
Frühstück war okay, hat für eine solide basis für den Tag gesorgt.

Hotel in günstiger Lage. Zimmer soll demnächst renoviert und modernisiert werden. Es war groß, die Möbel so la la, Bett ok, aber das Duschbad grenzwertig, eng, schlechtes Licht, uralt. Kostenloses Frühstück hatte Mindeststandart, billiger Käse, billiger Schinken, Yoghurt und Dosenobst. Na ja, mehr war auch nicht zu erwarten. Alles in allem günstig, Angebot preisgerecht.

Hotel ideale per la visita della città

Esperienza nel complesso gradevole. In posizione centrale e nello stesso tempo silenziosa dove poter tornare a fine giornata ma anche per un breve stop per depositare i sacchetti dopo lo shopping nei dintorni.
Se la sera si è stanchi e non si vuole fare troppo strada, a due passi si trova uno dei caffè storici di Vienna
\"Sperl\" dove mangiare o bere qualcosa, leggere i giornali e assistere alle partite a bigliardo del gruppo anziani del quartiere.

国立歌劇場、楽友協会から徒歩圏内の上地下鉄の駅からも非常に近い。しかも、繁華街のすぐ裏手でありながら、静かで良かった。
国立歌劇場へ通う事が目的の旅行だったので、大変便利でした。

Hotel molto comodo e ottimo prezzo. Vicino al centro e mezzi pubblici: Metro e tram. Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto un problema di salute ( stato febbrile di mia moglie ) e il personale ci ha aiutato alle quattro del mattino a trovare una farmacia aperta che ci ha permesso di risolvere il problema. Poi in giro con i mezzi molto attivi abbiamo visitato gran parte della città.

２泊しましたが掃除は全然ダメでした。

タオルはかけなおしただけでビックリ。

少しショックでした。

ゴミのカスも落ちてたので（あきらかに気づくとこ）さらに驚きです。

ここまで適当ならお値段をもっと下げるべきかな。

でも荷物を預けてもらってからフライトまで時間があったので待合でずっと時間をつぶせたのはよかったです。

掃除や部屋の古さ汚さ以外はよかったように思います。

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und dennoch Zentral. Nur ein kurzer Fussweg zum Naschmarkt und auch die Innenstadt ist fussäufig gut zu erreichen. Die Mariahilfstrasse mit ihren vielen Geschäften ist gleich um die Ecke. Das Einschecken ist schnell erledigt und das Team ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind für den Preis ok und gross genug. Dass es nur zu einem \"ok\" kommt hat folgende Gründe: Matratzen ziemich durchgelegen. Doppelbett waren zwei zusammengeschobene Betten, die sich beim liegen auseindander schoben. Verbrauchtes Duschgel wurde beim Reinigen nicht erneuert.

L'albergo non è molto grande, ma è collegato benissimo, si trova vicino alla Stazione Metro Museumsquartier,ad una fermata dal centro.La colazione è inclusa,non molto fornita ma il cibo e le bevande sono sempre fresche e buonissime.Il personale è disponibilissimo.Inoltre c'è a connessione Wi-fi libera ed arriva fino alle stanze.

1番の売りはロケーションで、市内中心部まで歩いてアプローチできる。
地下鉄の主要駅も近いので、移動には非常に便利。
路地に面しているので静かで、治安にも特に不安は無かった。

部屋は至ってシンプルで、こじんまりとした感じ。アメニティも豊富とは言えないが、
泊まるだけなら全く不自由は無い。フロントに言えばFree Wi-Fiも使用可能。

朝食付きだったが、これまたシンプルで、バラエティの豊富さなどは望めないが、
個人的にはこれで十分。

Prisvärt hotell med bra läge. Tyvärr saknas AC vilket innebär att rummen blir mycket varma vid varmt väder. Öppna fönster innebär relativt mycket trafkljud även nattetid. Receptionspersonalen vänlig men inte särskilt kunnig om t ex öppettider för mataffärer (visste t ex inte att BILLA har söndagsöppet vid järnvägsstationerna). Fick inte heller särskilt bra info om flygbussarna, hade bättre alternativ själv.

ホテルの場所が少しわかりにくいが、便利なダウンタウンにある上、とても静か。部屋は簡素で、ホテル自体は古い。設備は必要最低限。自由に使えるネット接続パソコンがロビーにあり、モヴァイルを持ち歩かない人にも便利。日本語表示が可能。一日中ホテルの外にいる人には、これで十分と思える。
スタッフは学生アルバイト風だが、英語が通じて、親切だった。

leider nicht zu empfehlen

das zimmer (bettwäsche, handtücher) war sauber, allerdings die möblierung alt und abgenutzt, so zerfiel der schrank fast in seine einzelteile, das gesamte hotel hat keinen charme, der frühstücksraum absolut ohne atmosphäre. das frühstück ist unterdurchschnittlich, es gibt kein frisches obst, das müsli eher abgestanden. da bin ich bei ähnlicher preislage ganz andere hotels gewohnt. der einzige wirkliche vorteil ist die zentrale lage in unmittelbarer nähe zur uni und zum museumsquartier, dennoch würde ich das hotel bei meinem nächsten wien aufenthalt nicht mehr wählen.

schlicht, einfach - perfekte Lage

Das Hotel wird den Leuten gefallen, die kein hohen Anpsruch haben und ein kleines Frühstück (diverse Brötchen und Brotscheiben, je zwei Wurstsorten, Käsesorten, Marmeladen und Müslisorten) ausreichend genug ist. Die Betten sind sehr fest gewesen (was uns sehr gefallen hat) und das Zimmer + Bad machten einen einfachen, aber dennoch guten Eindruck. Vorallem die Lage des Hotels ist super! Keine 5 Minuten zum Naschmarkt und der U-Bahn Linie 4 oder zur anderen Seite (ein Paar Treppen hinauf) und schon ist man in einer der großen Einkaufsstraßen von Wien. Hier fährt auch die U-Bahn Linie 3 entlang. Aufgrund der Lage und da unser Anspruch ncht hoch ist, würden wir erneut das Hotel buchen.

Hyvä perushotelli

Terminuksessa oli kaikkialla siistiä, huoneessa hyvä sänky, tallelokero, erittäin puhtaat lakanat ja pyyhkeet. Tosin yhden hengen huoneen sisustus oli aika kolkko ja parkettilattian sauvat irrallaan. Koko hotellin alueella oli ilmainen nettiyhteys ja ala-aulassa tietokone asiakkaiden käytössä. Sijainti oli hyvä, kaikki nähtävyydet kävelyetäisyydellä. Aamiainen sisältyi huoneen hintaan ja oli ihan riittävä. Helteellä kaipasin ilmastointia, mutta silti hinta-/laatusuhde oli hyvä.
