In this guide

Book flights with Bitcoin or another supported cryptocurrency through CryptoTraveler. This guide covers searching for a route, comparing fare rules, entering passenger details, paying the invoice and checking your flight confirmation.
Open flight search to compare one-way, return or multi-city journeys. Your available payment options are shown at checkout.
1. Choose the route, dates and passengers
Select the departure and arrival airports, travel dates, number of passengers and cabin class. Use the trip type that matches your plans: one-way for a single journey, return for a round trip, or multi-city for several flight legs.
Check airport names and codes carefully when a city has several airports. Include every passenger in the search, with the correct adult, child or infant details where requested. Review overnight arrivals and the dates of every leg before choosing an offer.
2. Compare the whole journey and its fare rules
The ticket price is only part of the decision. Review the itinerary and the terms of the selected offer before booking:
- Departure and arrival times, including any arrival on a later calendar day.
- The number of stops and the time available between flights.
- The baggage allowance and any additional baggage costs shown.
- The cabin and any included services.
- Change and cancellation conditions, fees and refund eligibility.
- The final total and any optional services you have selected.
Check travel document and transit requirements for your journey before paying. Paying with Bitcoin does not change airline fare conditions or the documents you need to travel.
3. Enter passenger names and contact details accurately
Enter passenger names as required for the travel documents used on the trip. Check spelling, dates of birth and other requested details before continuing. Name corrections after booking can be restricted or subject to charges.
Use an email address you can access while travelling and double-check the contact details. Review every flight leg and passenger before moving to payment.
4. Pay the flight invoice with Bitcoin or crypto
Choose Bitcoin or another supported cryptocurrency from the methods available at checkout. Other assets, including stablecoins, may be offered; the checkout and invoice show which asset and payment route to use for your booking.
Before sending a payment, check these details:
- Use the cryptocurrency and, where specified, the network shown on the invoice.
- Confirm the payment address or payment instructions against that invoice.
- Send the exact full amount requested. Wallet, exchange and network fees must not reduce the amount received.
- Pay before the invoice expires and allow time for any required payment confirmation.
If using an exchange withdrawal, check its fees and processing time before relying on it for a time-limited invoice. Check the invoice status after paying. A transaction sent from your wallet does not by itself confirm an airline reservation.
5. Check the booking confirmation and e-ticket
Payment confirmation and flight booking confirmation are separate steps. Once the booking is confirmed, review the confirmation email and e-ticket details. Keep the CryptoTraveler booking reference and the airline booking reference or PNR when provided.
Check the passenger names, airports, dates, flight numbers and baggage details again. Use the airline reference where applicable to check the reservation with the airline and follow its check-in instructions before departure.
Common questions about booking flights with Bitcoin
Does the airline need to accept Bitcoin directly?
Your booking payment is handled through the methods offered by CryptoTraveler at checkout. The airline fare rules, baggage conditions and travel requirements still apply to your ticket.
Can I change or cancel a flight paid with crypto?
Changes and cancellations depend on the fare conditions of your ticket. Some fares have restrictions or charges, and refund eligibility varies. Check those terms before booking and contact support with your booking reference if your plans change.
What if I paid but have not received my e-ticket?
Check the payment status, your account booking details, your contact email address and the spam folder. If the booking status is unclear, contact CryptoTraveler support with your booking reference and payment transaction details before paying again or creating a duplicate booking. Never share wallet recovery phrases or private keys.
