Great location, it is really close to the subway (the tube) and it’s a 15-20 min walk to the Big Ben / London eye location.
Rooms are good and clean. We stayed in a queen bed room and was perfect for a couple.
One of the big perks was the breakfast, really good and complete.
This was our first time in London and I would recommend this hotel as well.

Very clean modern feeling hotel, the room was a good size and we had a nice side view of the London eye. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion were available in the hotel bathroom and they had a really nice smell. Staff were also helpful and friendly, lots of choice for breakfast and it tasted great. I’d stay here again

Cons: heating in room did not work. Called down to reception and the receptionist said maintenance would take a look from the main control room and she would call us with an update. An hour later we waited and no call.
We went down to reception and maintenance guy was there and didn’t seem to anything about it. No acknowledgement or apology from reception for not callinG back with an update.
-lady in reception looked stressed and nothing explained to me when checking in (card to lifts, breakfast, check out times). No clear queue of where to check in so others that came after me where seen before me.
Pros: room clean. Great location.
-hearing issue not fixed but evening receptionist and manager very good and issue sorted.
-Breakfast was plentiful.

The room is in we-have-never-seen condition, namely,
1. There is spiderweb like crack in bothroom sink, spreading 1/3 of the basin;
2. The door stopper is broken, potentially the door could damage the wall. We had to report it and declare we should not be liable for any damage;
3. Climate Control is mulfunctional. The next morning it is completely OFF;
4. The heating system is not working so we have to ask for a protable heater; The room is already small enough for 3 of us, it is only half of the size as those in the US Hamptons we stayed;
5. We stayed 3 nights and only seen few smilie faces during the 72hours. Most of the staff showing poker face even we are greeting them. And the housekeeping staff does not speaking English at all. They told us first: No English;
6. On the last day of staying, we found there is a huge stain mark on one of the pillow covers as the room is dim. I was wondering how can this thing be re-used at the first place???
Reported this to the duty manager and showed the item to him. His response is like: sorry about that. No apologies at all. He didn't even make eye contact.
We were thinking are we in the UK or somewhere else??
The room number is 221. Any future guest please check the staus of this properly if assigned to this room or just reject it if not rectified.
Terrebable experience in deed.

Nice room although the non-functional bathroom lock was interesting. also if you really want us to not use the room cleaning service, perhaps more tea and coffee at outset would help? We need the room to be serviced just to refill supplies. Breakfast was OK although the phrasing \"Please only enjoy a 30 minute stay\" made me want to stay longer just to see if the staff deliberately started being horrid once the half hour was up. It was a bot of an assumption that I was going to enjoy it at all.

The staff were all very courteous. The room was lovely, but we were disappointed there was no fridge/mini bar. We always buy fresh milk locally before we check in to a hotel as we prefer it in our tea/coffee. As there wasn't a fridge, we ended up having to throw the milk away.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We arrived very early after a long flight and our room was ready. The staff at the front desk every time we went there were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and a good size. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious, the shower was clean and had good water pressure. The breakfast every morning was very good. Plenty of choices that I believe anyone is bound to find something they like. It would get crowded especially on the weekend, but we never had any problems finding a place to sit or getting enough food. The staff at breakfast were also very kind and accommodating. The hotel itself is a short walk from the Waterloo tube and train station- which is why we booked it. It's off of a main street- Waterloo Road, so we felt safe the whole time going back and forth. There is also a stop not too far away (5 min walk maybe) for the Big Bus Tour if that's something you're interested in. They brought us extra towels and pillows when we asked. There was an ice maker on the floor if you are looking for ice. We were on the 2nd floor so not really a great view, but we weren't in the room looking for a view so I didn't mind. If you're looking for a place in Waterloo, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We've stayed here previously and really enjoyed it but this time the room was quite dirty, we booked a premium room thinking it would be nicer but there was hair in the bed and one of the towels was covered in yellow crusty stains which was highly unpleasant. There was also no water bottles in the room which was okay, but we were charged £4 for one in reception which seemed steep when other Hilton branches offer them free in the room.

I absolutely loved the hotel, the service and the location. From the amazing breakfast (with a waffle machine), to the takeaway breakfast they gave us was top notch.
It has a bus station right next to the entrance and the Waterloo station after a 5 min walk. Highly recommended hotel.
Do try out the best Fish & Chips at Fishcoteque, and the shawarma next door.

At checkin room was not available put into a different room. There are 3 of us we booked for family and theedding for the sofa bed was not made ( we had to do this). There was not a towel for each of us. The room and bedding we so dusty. Our son (who does not have problems breathing) had breathing problems all night and still has due to dust. There was a layer of dust over our belongings and cups of water making them undrinkable.

My room is clean. Staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. We have 3 families stayed in the hotel for a week enjoyed the stay. The location is convenient and transportation is easy to access. The breakfast quality is very good and yummy. It helps us to save money for the food too. We did have a good time in Hampton Inn as well as in London. The only thing I don't like is the mattress too soft - indents from previous guests, were very apparent.

The hotel was very clean. The employees were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Best hotel complimentary breakfast that I’ve ever had. Very close to the Waterloo Underground station. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the mattress. You could hear the springs when sitting/lying down. I would definitely stay again and hope for a better mattress.

Hampton Waterloo is a great choice to stay with a central location . The hotel is nice . I would not recommend a premium room I actually thought the standard room I stayed previously was nicer apart from the Smeg fridge . Would definitely recommend Hampton by Hilton.
