5/5 stars! I stayed at this hotel for 5 days/4 nights during London Climate Week and I was extremely impressed with the hotel and staff. It was clean, organized and well-maintained. Additionally, the staff were unbelievably friendly and organized. The morning breakfast rush was a madhouse but they had plenty of staff cleaning, setting out food, and helping around...it was frankly impressive. The location is excellent - close to many cool neighborhoods and transport lines. If I'm back in the Waterloo area in the future, I will 100% stay here in the future.

The staff were great, the room had a good view and facilities.
The only odd thing is that the room smelt of damp. There was a damp patch by the door where the shower had leaked through. That wasn't a problem except for the damp smell which was quite noticeable.
It didn't affect my stay but it would be good to get it fixed for next time!

The property was convenient to tube and rail facilities, and there were several good restaurants in the area. The property was also very cleaned and well maintained. The staff was also courteous and very friendly. We did run into one issue in that the air conditioner only cooled the room down to an estimated 79-80 degrees. In fairness, temperatures in London were in the low 90s during our stay. The staff did send maintenance to clean the filter in the room, but that had no impact. Staff also told us AC units don’t work that well during times of high temperatures. It would have been nice if they would have offered to move us to a different room instead of having to go through a few miserably hot nights.

Great hotel to use as a base, just 10 minutes walk from Waterloo. Our room was clean, functional, as long as you didn't mind not having a view. Staff were helpful, breakfast was busy but was good quality and plenty of choice. Well worth the money we paid for the stay.

We marked excellent for all, and why. We had an amazing breakfast, each day. We ate dinner there each night. The front desk helped arrange taxi's for us, when we checked out. They gave directions to all attractions, etc. We loved the Waterloo area. We'd stay there again!!!

First room stunk of sewage. Staff expected us to wait “hours”. Moved after we complained. Told to try and eat breakfast (07:15) within 30 mins. Run down and tired hotel. Horrible beds and weird vibes.

Love the place. Few steps from Waterloo Tube station so very convenient. Very central to everything. Very clean and front staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff stewards are great and the rooms were clean but just don’t ask them for any questions about the trains or bus or anything about the area as they’ll always say they don’t know cause I ask about the bus schedules and they were no help. I think most if not all hotels tell their housekeeping to say nothing except to provide answers regarding the room cleaning, towels, toiletries, etc. which makes sense. SO THEN I ask the front desk about the bus schedules and they were able to help.

SO AGAIN-Love the place, love the location, love the free breakfast…. And would definitely stay there again.

The room was comfortable, but had no facial tissues. I was told to use scratchy toilet paper. In our next accommodations, I had the same experience, so this must be common in Great Britain. Visitors should be notified so that they can bring tissues with them.

The bathroom door handle was broken, Steve got locked in the bathroom is was a challenging few minutes quite scary. The breakfast was fine nothing exceptional but felt quite dis functional the yogurts for the fruits are placed in a fridge under the hot food area. The lady who checked everyone in for breakfast was lovely, very polite and cheerful, a big thank you to her. The person who checked us out was fine until he was told about the bathroom door, although we only wanted to report it, for the safety of the next visitor, he was quite dismissive of the seriousness of that situation.

The twin room was a great size and the bathroom clean and well maintained. The shower was powerful which is rare in some hotels. Breakfast selection was great.
My only disappointment was the pillows which were uncomfortable. We didn’t ask for any alternatives, options may have been available.
Overall a great stay in a nice hotel, really close to the south bank and Waterloo station. Thanks to the helpful and friendly staff

A wide arrary of breakfast foods both hot and cold. Staff were extremely pleasant. They made you feel very welcomed. The hotel itself shows sign of wear and lobby chairs need to be replaced or deep cleaned. I would stay again. Bed was comfortable which is a guge plus for me because I have a bad back.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. Professional and attentive, even let us check in early. The continental breakfast is great and smoothly operated even with the rotating large crowds. My only complaints are the size of the room and the way the shower door is incomplete. Coming from The Bahamas we're used to the shower doors closing completely

Breakfast was included daily and there was a wide variety to choose from. Tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Room was a decent size ( well, this is Europe!) but was very clean! Shower was awesome. If you don’t mind hopping on a train ( Waterloo) to get somewhere, this is a great hotel.

Well situated hotel. Close walking distance to Waterloo station. Fast, easy check in. My only advice would be to buy some snacks and drinks before you arrive as they are very overpriced in the hotel, water £3.99 a small bottle, £2.65 for a Mars bar!!!!

Great stay! Loved the adjoining rooms for my family ; i'd stay again just for that convenience. The bed in one room was not very comfortable (I could feel and hear the springs) but Overall, the hotel was conveniently located, clean, fairly priced, and the breakfast included made mornings so easy. I definitely recommend it.

Great location, it is really close to the subway (the tube) and it’s a 15-20 min walk to the Big Ben / London eye location.
Rooms are good and clean. We stayed in a queen bed room and was perfect for a couple.
One of the big perks was the breakfast, really good and complete.
This was our first time in London and I would recommend this hotel as well.

Very clean modern feeling hotel, the room was a good size and we had a nice side view of the London eye. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion were available in the hotel bathroom and they had a really nice smell. Cons: heating in room did not work. Called down to reception and the receptionist said maintenance would take a look from the main control room and she would call us with an update. An hour later we waited and no call.
We went down to reception and maintenance guy was there and didn’t seem to anything about it. No acknowledgement or apology from reception for not callinG back with an update.
-lady in reception looked stressed and nothing explained to me when checking in (card to lifts, breakfast, check out times). No clear queue of where to check in so others that came after me where seen before me.
Pros: room clean. Great location.
-hearing issue not fixed but evening receptionist and manager very good and issue sorted.
-Breakfast was plentiful.

The room is in we-have-never-seen condition, namely,
1. There is spiderweb like crack in bothroom sink, spreading 1/3 of the basin;
2. The door stopper is broken, potentially the door could damage the wall. We had to report it and declare we should not be liable for any damage;
3. Climate Control is mulfunctional. The next morning it is completely OFF;
4. The heating system is not working so we have to ask for a protable heater; The room is already small enough for 3 of us, it is only half of the size as those in the US Hamptons we stayed;
5. We stayed 3 nights and only seen few smilie faces during the 72hours. Most of the staff showing poker face even we are greeting them. And the housekeeping staff does not speaking English at all. They told us first: No English;
6. On the last day of staying, we found there is a huge stain mark on one of the pillow covers as the room is dim. I was wondering how can this thing be re-used at the first place???
Reported this to the duty manager and showed the item to him. His response is like: sorry about that. No apologies at all. He didn't even make eye contact.
We were thinking are we in the UK or somewhere else??
The room number is 221. Any future guest please check the staus of this properly if assigned to this room or just reject it if not rectified.
Terrebable experience in deed.

Nice room although the non-functional bathroom lock was interesting. also if you really want us to not use the room cleaning service, perhaps more tea and coffee at outset would help? We need the room to be serviced just to refill supplies. Breakfast was OK although the phrasing \"Please only enjoy a 30 minute stay\" made me want to stay longer just to see if the staff deliberately started being horrid once the half hour was up. It was a bot of an assumption that I was going to enjoy it at all.
