Beautiful town, lovely apartment.

Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay.

I will avoid for the price

No parking, the internet details they leave you doesn’t even exist, check in in a pub nearby even that the check in starts at 3 pm and I was there at 15:30.
A builder in the complex was very rude just because I used the path to the left in an small central distribution fountain they had in the way to the apartment, once we crossed paths and he told me why I didn’t use the other side….
Dirty common areas even with beer and cider cans on the floor, house smelling to cigarettes, also only decaf coffee and tea bag’s offered, if you need a coffee to start your day definitely not good….
I work in the area a lot and it’s always hard to find a nice place so I try different places but this one is going to the bottom of the list

Had a really lovely stay at the apartments. The apartment was well suited to our requirements, clean and comfortable to stay in for the duration of our trip. We had to pick our keys up from the Crown Inn pub and the staff were lovely, providing us with everything we needed, and accomodating us for food when it was extremely busy. Very impressed and will definitely be back!

Excellent value for money. Very quirky layout which we loved but wouldnt suit anyone with mobility issues....could be difficult with toddlers as lits of steps. Very clean, nicely decorated.

Huge rooms, very comfortable.

Check in was quick and easy. The apartments are actually located across the road and down a little from the check in the hotel but it was still very close.

The room is very nice and veey spacious with great amenities, a new bathroom and a comfortable. There is a supermarket a across the road which is really handy.

We enjoyed our stay!

Nice pleasant welcome and quickly shown my quarters. Spacious,modern although two flights of steep stairs which wasn’t a problem for me but could be for some. Clean , very comfy bed 🛌 and everything you need.

Bathroom and kitchen nice and clean. Sofa bed wasn’t fit for purpose. Extra piece of foam had been supplied to try and make it better but didn’t really succeeded. Duvet for this bed was also grey.

Quaint good quality accommodation

Quaint accommodation, combination of modern and traditional style. Well kitted our apartment. Almost everything catered for. Great facility. Lovely town. Very convenient for accessing local shops and pubs. Very comfortable and warm stay. Very good quality accommodation. Looked like best quality in the town. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great location, spacious but two members got allergic reaction to animals normally but had it in this place.
They did a breakfast over the road which was poor service. My child ordered beans on toast but they forgot the beans

Excellent apartment

A really spacious apartment and in very good condition. The bed was a bit odd but not uncomfortable; I think it had a new mattress and the springs seemed to have an individual mind of their own!! The whole place is very tidy, has new carpets and was very warm and comfortable - we arrived just as the big snow dump arrived.

initial apartment 5 unclean an unwelcoming. after difficult discussions with dtaff we were moved to another appartment which was much better although lacked a few essentials for self- catering. staff generally unhelpful.

Good Location

A good base for exploring the surrounding Rhayader countryside. The apartment was comfortable and the staff at the Ty Morgan's Bistro were very helpful. A bonus for staying at Ty Morgan's is a 10% discount at the Bistro, pub and fish and chip shop.
A place that we will be using again.

Lovely break Pre Xmas. Love Rhayader!! The people, the shops, the pubs but mostly the valleys and lakes!!! However, the apparartment 5 at Ty Morgan was sub standard to a 1 star not the 4 star advertised. Disappointed. Everything else was lovely.

Very disappointing stay. We stayed in apartment 5 which is very far from the pictures displayed online.
The beds were terrible and really uncomfortable. In need for a serious refurbishment. Definitely not worth the price

The apartment myself and my wife stayed in was superb very comfortable and very clean although for people with any mobility issues the stairs to the apartment are quite steep,I would recommend the full breakfast at Ty Morgans café and would definitely use this establishment again could not really fault it.

Spacious and comfortable

We arrived around 7 pm and checked in at the pub to get our keys. The staff member showed us to the apartment (down the street a bit, not far), took us in, and made sure we were happy with everything. We had two bedrooms and a large living room with enough sleeping space for all six of us. There was a kitchen which contained plenty of implements for meal preparation, and a full bath and a half bath. The town itself is very small, and everyone was very friendly. We walked around the corner for dinner and were very happy (the restaurant is owned by the same people as the apartments). I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

got to the apartment on a wet and windy welsh afternoon , called into morgans bar and bistro opposite the apartments where a lovely girl michela took us over to the apartment which was stunning , lovely and clean , warm , adequate bedding and towels , apartment consisted of large double bedroom , bathroom,toilet and sink , large open plan kitchen and living area , location was very central to all the town amenities and easy links to the road systems , all in all a very pleasant experience .

we enjoyed the appartment. there was a nice touch with the shampoos and shower gels in the bathroom and the spare bits and bobs in the kitchen like salt and pepper, oil etc...
It could have done with more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning though. For instance, the walls in the bathroom could do with a good scrub and behind the taps at the kitchen sink.
Also, we came with a 1 year old and it didnt mention that you have to go up a steep staircase to go to living area which was a bit scary

The Expedia listing and reviews are confusing. They refer to two separate establishments. The Apartments are separate self-catering flats on East Street. No breakfast is included. Ty Morgans also offer B&B rooms in South Street, accessed through Ty Morgans bar entrance in East Street. They also run the Crown on North Street, and offer rooms there, with breakfast in Ty Morgans.
The apartments are newly built (2015). The standard is impressive with attention to modern detail - e.g. built in USB chargers in kitchen socket. They come fully fitted with all the kitchen equipment needed for a holiday base. The bathroom with underfloor heating includes a bath as well as a power shower. The bedroom has super-comfortable mattress and serious pillows, with choice of duvet TOGs. The double glazing keeps the noise out unless the riotous nights at the Royal Oak spill out into the street. There is hanging and drawer space.
The sitting room has a comfortable sofa (which can also be a bed). The kitchen has a table and chairs as well. A couple or family could be very comfortable here.

I need sleep

not what i expected for the price. i was in a ground floor room with window onto the main road. with HGV's going past through the night and the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Then there was the Saniflow system in the bathroom, as the sink tap would not turn off every half an hour the Saniflow would whoosh through like a waterfall going through the room. staff friendly breakfast and evening meal were very nice

Lovely room although not as described

Booking confirmed fridge in room& climate control, room had neither. On enquiring was told they couldn't amend the website this is false advertising! Room was nice though & staff friendly. Ate in the\"bistro\" very disappointing had the \"special\" pie which was frozen with frozen chips. Breakfast however was fantastic, lovely ingredients well cooked. Would still recommend at £70 per night is good value for money.

Room in attic had damp on wall inside wardrobe area no draws to put cloths asked to change rooms which they a did. furniture was disappointing poor standard. food good and staff helpful though. wouldn't stay again better places in town

Good location and right in central of town

Overall impression of the hotel is good but we find our room was cold and as it was a very windy night and it kept us awake due to the level of noise we could hear through the little gaps from the windows hence the room was cold even with the heating on. Don't think this would be a problem if it was a summer night. Also we find that mostly the bedroom itself is nice and fairly spacious but then the bathroom is a let down as my partner can't even stand up right when he uses the toilet

Lovely place in a lovely friendly town

Service and friendliness of staff excellent. Also very good food in bar. Rooms have excellent cleanliness and very good facilities and are very modern and contemporary. Hotel owner Andrew and Bob the barman are both extremely obliging, have time for you, and couldn't do enough for us. Thoroughly enjoyed being there and will stay there again. Only negative points are the very small car park at the rear of the hotel, and room 9 which we were in for one night, is noisy because of the proximity to the road outside and the thickness of the wall insulation which means you can hear people in other rooms, banging doors, etc. Better with a room away from the road side of the hotel. Otherwise a lovely place to stay in a lovely area of Wales. Thanks for a nice stay at Ty Morgans!!

The hotel is situated on a crossroads and subject to a lot of traffic noise. The bed was hard, and the ensuite just about big enough to stand in, but don't try to move or stretch. The room was a little tired, and we were very disappointed as it looked so nice on the website. The breakfast was very nice, and the chambermaid was very helpful. But that would not be enough to encourage me back.

As always a very pleasant stay

I've stayed here on a regular basis over the last few years and have always been happy. Certainly there are more luxurious hotels but it's a very good price-performance ratio and we find it very fair and will come back anytime.
