Stayed at a cabin towards the back of the park and so I didnt hear the trains this time.
I arrived after hours and in the dark and the map on how to get to my cabin was clearly marked and made it easy to find. The cabin was very roomy

Checked in late and there were good text instructions on how to check in and where to find the keys on check in. However when I got there in the dark the reception sign wasn’t very well lit, so had to get out of my vehicle with a light to find reception.

Had to fill in paperwork back in my room and return to Reception before opening hours again the next morning, however there were no pens in the room and I didn’t have one so had to go and buy one.

Rooms were clean but very small and the venue is located next to a train track and the windows shook a little whenever a train went past.

The curtains were coming off the tracking and they were hard to close properly/fully. So didn’t feel I had very good privacy, so turned off the lights and just had a lamp so u couldn’t see into the room through the curtain gaps.

Couldn’t find the power point in the bathroom at first and then found it in the corner right next to the toilet!

I am not sure if Netflix was free or not (no information about it) but it wouldn’t load, kept coming up with an error. Could have been me, but couldn’t then figure out how to view free to air tv either., so couldn’t watch tv at all.

We loved the fact that the team bent over backwards for us when we arrived early the only draw back was that some of the walls in our cabin the toilet floor was not cleaned well, but we did it and it did not detract from a wonderful experience that we had. We will absolutely stay here again it was such a joy to stay here.

The bed was tha uncomfortable that I had to sit up from 1.30 in the morning mattress dipped in middle ended up extremely sore back from it

People smoking next to my room I could smell the smoke even with door closed

This was a great property to stay at with friendly, helpful staff. Was very clean inside cabin. Close to railway station. This could pose a problem to someone sensitive to noise. For us - better the occasional train than the noise of traffic!
1 hour train trip and we were in Sydney. Loved it. Better than driving ourselves in.
Very competitive rate for the area. Will return next time in Sydney.
Was able to plug in our EV to the powerpoint in the cabin. Would be nicer if they had external powerpoint to plug into.
Property was very clean but showing signs of age - bench top worn out. Sliding door not working properly. Inground dirt in bathroom but only minor amount.

Overall wasn’t very clean, floor felt like it had dirt on it and there was a spider in the shower. Big concern being the power main in the bedroom didn’t have a cover on it allowing easy access for a child, to which my son did turn the power off at the box while I was in the shower as he didn’t know what it was and power main was overdue for it’s inspection.

Trying to book in was a nightmare due to empty office during day when it was supposed to be attended 9am to 5pm.. both staff having a lunch hour at same time it seemed when we dropped by to organise late checkin due to working commitments.... then trying to organise a late check-in by phone contact when their phone system wasn't working caused huge inconvenience also. Very unprofessional.
The bed was atrocious... small double bed which had large sinking dip in middle and impossible for 2 adults to sleep comfortably on. Husband had to sleep on the couch for the 3 night stay. Never had to do this at any other accommodation ever!. Replace your beds! Shower head was old and faulty and needs replacing.
General facilities in cabin otherwise were ok. Good working fridge, tv, airconditioner and easy parking outside cabin. Won't be staying here again unless cabins improved.

It was also quite close to the Nepean Riverwalk

We were pleasantly surprised to find a full size fridge. Internet was excellent. Staff went out of their way to be helpful.
Lights in kitchen/dining/living were half burnt out and very dim. Kitchen table very wobbly.
However, more good than bad about this stay and we will definitely stay there again if we can.

Cabin was very clean which was good to see. The grounds had good facilities with playground, pool etc. The downsides for us were… the beds were extremely hard and coverlet very thin…there was no soundproofing in the walls so we could hear footsteps etc every time someone moved in the next door cabin…there was also a loud banging type noise that would go off every little while and greatly interrupted our sleep.

We booked a studio and was very surprised by the \"studio\" we walked into... therw was no space, the aircon didnt work, the tv was miniscule, the shower was terrible, the toilet was hard to flush and there was actually zero space for any toiletries by the sink. We will not book again and dont recommend for anything more than a single one night stay.

We were disappointed to arrive at our room around 10.30 pm after a long day and find there were no sheets on the kids bed. I asked at reception the next day and she said yeah we dont make the kids beds. Very disappointed i didnt think it was such a high expectation to expect sheets to be on the beds.

I have no problem with Ingenia Holidays Nepean River; I did not get there. I rang them and told them my predicament that I could not get there due to roads under water and also The State Dragon Boat Regatta at The Aquatic Centre was cancelled due to flooding. They were very helpful but said to take it up with Wotif. That's where the problems occurred - even though I logged the incident with Wotif, and an incident number was issued, I had no further communication with them. I have used Wotif many times and I am very disappointed with their lack of response and refund of money. Many people associated with the Regatta received a credit to use for when the Regatta is scheduled later in the year.
