Check in was simple. The rooms were not very nice and needs updating. There were two bath towels and were not given more even for the pool so you had to use the two given. We asked for more and were denied. The breakfast was $14 and it was pathetic. A small bowel of cold eggs and a sad piece of ham. The bread was dry and no butter or jams offered. You were charged an $4 exit fee at checkout for some reason. Overall a disappointing experience so I would select a different property.

Amazing hotel with gorgeous pool and scenery

Fabulous pool and right on the beach! Easy walk to town of Adamantas and all the restaurants. Also very close to port. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay. Beautiful scenery nearby!

Good location, pool, needs some TLC

I booked this hotel knowing what the other reviews said. It served its purpose as a place to lay my head down after a day of exploring the island. The AC is cold, which was a big thing for me. Overall, it met our needs. It was a short flat walk to town and was very conveniently located near the ferry port. The pool was very nice and the beach is a really nice amenity, too. I wouldn't book this hotel if you're used to fancy hotels. The lighting in our first room (105) was extremely poor and the TV didn't work. Our second day there, the water was shut off for a while. Not a huge deal, we were going to town anyway. We woke up on the third morning and noticed that our bathroom floor was soaked. After looking, we realized there was a leak in the ceiling. We told the front desk and they said they'd ask for a technician. I requested a new room, as we had to shower and get ready for an excursion. We were told by the lady at reception that she would whatsapp us if she finds an available room. So we went to town for a couple hours and never received a message. Ended up going on the excursion as we were. We got back around 8pm and went to reception to check on getting a new room. The very nice guy at reception was not told about our situation. He immediately got us a new room and helped us move our luggage. Anyway, overall, you won't be disappointed if you have lower expectations and a bit of patience with the staff. The room we moved into was much nicer.

Tucked at the end of the bay. Quiet yet just a 5 min walk to ferry and center of town. Super convenient. Beachfront was a bonus! Also pool area was nice. Breakfast was delicious although don’t be in a rush - it took a while to get after placing order. Staff super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

I booked a \"traditional room\" with a so called ocean view, but found it lacked screens on the windows and doors, making me feel unsafe always in a dark dingy room not able to see the ocean. Mosquitoes could enter through the missing slats on the back door, and the storage shelves and walls were painted with chalk paint leading to chalk residue when touched. My friends and I requested to move to the renovated rooms unfortunately I was only able to move my friends remained in the so called ‘traditional room. The breakfast setup was inefficient and disappointing. It was a sit-down service with only one person serving everyone, which led to long waits. Scrambled eggs were served cold every day. A buffet-style breakfast would make much more sense to get everyone eating quickly and efficiently. Overall, not worth the money!

Overall the hotel was lovely. Facilities were great. We had a few problems with our room; there wasn’t a key for our room so we had to ask them to lock annd unlock our room every time. Also the bathroom light wasn’t working, however this was fixed very quickly and staff were always kind. So overall still a nice visit!!

We stayed in the traditional rooms with sea view! the door to the sea view are shutters with no screens, which means you can't leave them open so no view of anything. Room is very dark except for the cracks in between the shutter doors, you could see light coming through.
Floor is cement and always feels dirty.
We asked to be moved but we were told they are full. Which takes me to breakfast. They had 1 waitress / person taking your breakfast order but no menu, the menu was at the front desk!!!???? 1 person to serve breakfast to a full hotel!!!
All safes are at the front desk, this is very inconvenient. All hotels we stayed in before provided 1 big bottle of water, this hotel did not provide water.
This hotel has so much potential, not sure if the management is the issue!
Beds are so hard and uncomfortable.
There is only a pedestal sink, no counter to keep your toiletries. Bathroom is dark, the whole room is dark.
I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. We met people and their hotels were so much nicer for less money. This is not even a 1 STAR.

Nice hotel near the port with ambiance. Staff were young and Agapi was very polite and helpful. Pool area is very nice. Breakfast service is a little unorganised and could do with some changes, eg buffet instead of ta Le service to speed things up. Bathrooms could also do with some renovations. Overall very pleased with location and room. Would stay again!

Quiet retreat in Adamantas

The Hotel Ladaga was a perfect stay for us on Milos. We were close to the ferry and everything was accessible on foot. When we did leave Adamantas to explore, we walked to a car rental business.
The hotel is basic but comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

Bad reviews are unfair, good simple hotel

The bad reviews are somewhat unfair, the hotel is clean and rooms are spacious. The host was super friendly and really helpful.... But the hotel is very basic, beds are comfortable but the rooms are basic. It was clean and very close to the port.

Lovely hotel, awesome pool with lounges overlooking a small secluded beach (not a very nice beach but still!)

Rooms clean and reasonably moden, nice bathroom. Basic room, had a fridge and a kettle!

Quiet location - located about 200m in the opposite direction from the restaurants / buzz at the port, but theres a few cool bars on the way and plenty of parking.

Milos is a very quiet island so having that pool to hang out at, and being close to all the day trips at the port, was a gamechanger. Staff were lovely and helpful. Highly recommend!

The property was an excellent stay. Getting off the ferry at nearly midnight was stressful, but the quick 3-5 minute walk to the hotel was something out of a tired man's fantasy. The wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops, breakfast spots, grocery stores, etc. was immaculate. The hotel was far enough away from the main drag that it felt peaceful but not perfectly silent as there was a bar across the beach that could be heard. For being solid white and concrete the room was more than cozy and comfy, a finicky shower but once figured out it was a beautiful experience. The private balcony overlooking the pool and the beach was out of a fairytale. And for getting on a ferry at 3am this hotel was an ideal spot.

Very nice property with a convenient beach. It was a two minute walk to the ferry port and about another 1-3 minute walk to great restaurants, shopping and meeting areas for day trips.

Most of the desk staff were not friendly and we had to ask for blankets and additional toilet paper. The first night, we used towels for blankets.

The cleaning/maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful, including helping us with our luggage.

This hotel has definitely seen better days. It was very rundown. All of the bathroom fixtures had previously been broken some very shoddily repaired, others not repaired at all. They also have a serious mosquito problem. We didn’t see mosquitoes anywhere else on the island but every time we opened any door or window, mosquitos swarmed in. Was surprised at the hotel only provided sheets on the bed and no blanket whatsoever. They also didn’t even provide hand soap. It felt pretty slummy. The one thing they do have going for them is that the location is great. I would, however, definitely not stay here again.

I would never stay or recommend this property. The management lacks customer service and flexibility. Pool was closed due to a chemical treatment. Sign was displayed on one side of the pool entrance and folks were going in from the other side. They had been exposed to chemical solutions. Again poor managed and safety of customers

The property is in a great position - beautiful building - however our stay was for three days - despite notice that staff come through on the second and third to replace towels and bedsheets - not one person came through our room and reception had no idea until I informed them at check out. The pool did not open until the last day of our stay - we arrived July 3 and departed July 6. The restaurant was not open - it just seemed they were unprepared for the season as usually hotels begin their preparation for summer season in March mostly. It was a shame because we were really looking forward to our stay.

I’ve never stayed in anything so terrible. My room was in terrible condition and completely infested with mosquitos, spiders and spider webs and bugs. I asked them to clean it and told them I would be out for a couple hours and expected the bugs to be cleaned out when I was back. There were so many in the shower it was not possible to shower.
The lady working at the desk the entire time I was there did absolutely nothing and when I came back, no one had cleaned my room when I went to the front desk she said “yes they informed me they didn’t have time to clean it” I spent one night in there, I was eaten alive I have bites all over me from who knows what and I had to wear my noise cancelling head phones all night to avoid hearing the buzzing around me. You are better off staying on the beach for free. Worst experience ever.

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. After getting off the ferry, the last thing we wanted to do was walk a long ways or get in a transfer. So that alone makes it worth it. But you’re getting what you pay for here. Very bare bones, nothing more than a bed in a room.

Loved our stay here! Was in walking distance to the town by like five minutes and had all the restaurants/bakeries/grocery stores right there! The room was clean and the staff was wonderful and accommodating with holding our luggage. There is a local bus close by that can get you around if you don’t want to rent a car. The only thing that we wish was better was the WiFi. We stayed upstairs towards the back and our room had no WiFi. It would come for a second, then leave. They explained to us it was because the room was a family room that was cement so reception was poor but we found the WiFi worked excellent in the common areas downstairs by the pool, which worked out fine for us! Would definitely stay again!

Lagada Beach resort is a larger property with many rooms and luckily it wasn’t too busy during our visit. It is located very close to the port and cafes, restaurants which is convenient. Beach is also very close and popular. The rooms are rudimentary with mainly concrete furnishings but they do the job. The grounds seem neglected and lacking in attention. The pool is probably the best asset and very popular. The staff lack attentiveness and showed no real interest or concern in our stay. Acceptable accomodation but probably overpriced compared to others in the area.

Near to the port but everything else is old

Pros:

- Very near to the port.
- Friendly front desk staffs. They allowed us to keep our toddler’s milk in the fridge after we checked out.
- Housekeeping was great. Kept our room clean and tidy.

Cons:

- Dated rooms/bathrooms/facilities.
- Lobby reeks of smoke smell.
- Blanket was a thin sheet of bedding. Lol.
- For some reason, data connection in the room was really bad (for all of us and our devices). Wifi in the room is non existent. Super frustrating.
- Most importantly, there is no water kettle or hot water available in the premises.

And because of the last point above, we will not be coming back. It is what it is- a 2 star hotel. Lower your expectations and you’ll be fine.

Lagada Beach Hotel is located on a beautiful spot in Adamas, near the port with lovely views of the sea. It has a large pool and a beach right in front of it. It also has a tennis court (in need of maintenance), ping pong table and small gym. Adamas’ bars, restaurants, shops and facilities are a few minutes walk away. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay there but our experience would have been better if our room was cleaned more often (the sheets were not changed in six days, and towels were changed once). The breakfast was also not very good with few food options and mostly stale bread. While the hotel is lovely, it is in need of maintenance and it is understuffed.

Avoid if you like a good shower

The place has potential with a renovation, good location and good size resort, unfortunately our experience was terrible.
We booked the top room, the Deluxe Seaview.
Firstly the pool was empty, which really was the biggest attraction for us.
Secondly, the bathroom was terribly dated and mouldy. Which we could have looked past if the water would consistently work. Hot would often stop working. At one point the cold stopped working too. We left early, as our stay was so disappointing.

Great pool area and amazing location in front of the beach. The hotel location and grounds are underrated. Rooms are fine. Nothing fancy. Sea view for all rooms I believe. No tennis racquets provided though so unless you can bring your own, the tennis court is useless. Overall the location and amenities and price make this a great hotel to stay at.

Lagada Beach Hotel

I was so looking forward to my stay here after seeing the property on the nternet. Unfortunately there are more negatives than positives with Lagada Beach Hotel.

I’ll begin with the positives-

Positives:
Close to port (easy walking distance) and very easy to locate.
On the waterfront with a nice beach directly in front of the hotel.
Nice outdoor pool area.
Fast and easy check in.

Negatives:
Room smelt musty.
Very poor wifi reception, often did not work at all.
No supervision of the breakfast area - parents allowing children to finger and touch food on the “buffet”.
Breakfast food replenished very slowly.
Room did not have a window - you either had to have the door open to the common walkway or have the noisy air conditioner running (with no natural light).
Many areas of the garden and facilities are in drastic need of repair and maintenance.
Noise travelled between rooms.
Television reception was quite poor.
Pool water had an algae smell - probably an imbalance in the pH level.
Hot water took a long to come through in the bathroom.
Young locals use the pool area and (very loudly) commandeer the lounges and chairs leaving none available for the guests.
Staff generally appear disinterested in guests and bored (with the exception of the evening check in lady).
No security - one night at 3am local youths where running through the complex banging on guest doors and throwing outdoor furniture around.

The location of the Hotel is Great, just a three minute flat walk from the port and very close to the town center. There is a small beach right next to the hotel. The grounds are quite pretty with the vibrant flowers and the pool looked amazing with some nice sun lounges but not enough sun beds and umbrellas by the pool for everybody. Check-in was efficient but there is no porter to take your luggage to your room.
We booked the Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed, Sea View and it was fresh and spotless and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure good and there also is a fridge in the room. There was no safe in our room but we found out later that they are available at reception. Also, there were no facilities for making a cup of tea or coffee. The bathroom was quite compact but functional. There was a ventilation opening in the bathroom which was adjacent to the room next door with only mosquito nets between us, so privacy was a bit sketchy. WiFi is extremely slow.
The breakfast was basic and is served buffet style in a spacious room and outdoor seating area. Get there early as they kept running out of many basic things like orange juice and coffee without replacing them on time and you have to ask them to bring more. We weren’t at the Hotel much so staff interaction was minimal but when we did I found they were courteous and friendly.
We would stay here again.

Hotel is attractive and in a convenient location. Staff is very helpful. I paid for a Seaview room, and could barely see the Sea, due to the large palm trees and another building in front of my room. There are NO beach or pool towels. Shower water sprays all over bathroom and drains slowly, leaving you in dirty ankle- deep water. Breakfast is not great, especially with instant coffee. Bed is very comfortable. Internet was not accessible in my room.

it was everything i expected. cozy white room with blue doors. good lighting for bedside reading. my dream of perfect greece decor. really clean. a view of the water from my balcony. friendly cats. a swimming pool. fresh squeeze your own orange juice for breakfast was the best. and greek salad for breakfast was awesome.
i wish they wouldn't wash the towels every day. they should have a system for opting out..so much unnecessary laundry is not so eco friendly.

The pool and beach are excellent. Water kept coming up the bathroom floor drain when we used the sink. We reported it and nobody fixed it. They wouldn’t provide pool towels because they thought I would lose them. The wifi rarely worked in the room. Customer service is lacking but no more than in the rest of Greece.

The photos make it look a lot better than it is in reality. The bathroom was dark and dingy with no window. My daughter’s room which was meant to have a garden view had no window. Our room had a garden view but a pick up truck and trailer was parked right outside our window the majority of the time and the first morning we were woken at 7.30 by five men working on fixing parasols outside our room.
We didn’t use the pool the whole week we were there - IT WAS GREEN! We complained to the staff and it was rectified but took at least two days and by then we just didn’t fancy it.
The staff were just ok - the man I first brought our problems to couldn’t look me in the eye and shrugged his shoulders with a look of ‘what do you expect me to do about it?’. The manager refused to speak to me, all communications were through the front desk staff. Eventually, we were refunded our first night.
Lovely tame geese roaming about but unfortunately this meant we had to negotiate goose droppings everywhere and even in the pool at one point!! Masses of stray cats and one apparently stray dog.

A five night stay

Lagada beach hotel is a very basic hotel. The grounds are lovely to hang out in. The pool area is maintained well and the pool bar is very nice. The hotel also has a very nice beach area with giant comfortable bean bags to lay on and enjoy a swim too. The rooms are very very basic with only a shower gel and hairdryer as your only amenities. The ground level rooms have great wifi connection as rooms 211+ had bad or no connection at all. The staff are friendly. The location is excellent. The breakfast area is pretty good considering the hotel is basic.
