I was here for a long weekend and the hotel had everything I needed.
The rooms were big, bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet although I was off peak.
Breakfast had plenty of variety to choose from.

Loved our stay!

Loved this hotel, especially loved the spa and rooftop pool. We used all the facilities and got massages, Super friendly helpful staff at front desk. Our only negative is we wished the hot tub was hot on roof, hopefully something they can do for future guest.

Oasis in the city

This hotel has everything. It’s walkable to old town, the room was beautiful. The pool and hot tub on the 7th floor with a poolside bar was an oasis in the middle of the city. Also, breakfast was delicious and there is a pool table in the library. They allowed us to check out and hang on the 7th floor until we had to leave for the airport which was a blessing since we had nowhere else to hang out until our flight.

The area is walking distance to the city center, but it’s covered in graffiti and a very different atmosphere than other areas. This hotel also only has one elevator which is very slow and would reset and skip our floor. The staff was extremely nice, but the hotel does not look as nice as the photos at all.

Check-in was a breeze, very friendly staff. Room was a good size and air condition works properly. Bed was huge. Balcony was a good size with furniture and plants. Nice area to watch the sunrise. Blackout curtains and sound proofing were good. Breakfast was ok, continental as well as warm buffet. Garage parking available for a fee (unless you’re a Expedia VIP member). Only one and slow lift which is in need for an upgrade.

The hotel is clean but overall looks quite dated, especially the carpets and furniture. The hotel is in a ‘residential’ area, 20 min walk to old town. The surroundings itself has graffiti and looks a bit rough. I didn’t feel safe walking on my own back from old town. It’s close to some main roads in to Split.

Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were great. However, there was no staff at the swimming pool bar as they were providing spa treatments…. I had to go the supermarket to get some cold drinks. Rather disappointing.

Decent hotel

Stayed here while in Split. 15-20 min walk to old town which has cobblestone streets. Staff friendliness, professionalism, courtesy, 4 stars. Hotel itself 3 stars - room was nice size, safe in room, balcony nice with small table and 2 chairs. Good size closets. Breakfast included. Decent spread of cereals, breads, croissants, and hot foods.
We had excursions early am 2 days, but they did pack us a decent amount of food and a juice to take with us.
Garage parking available for a fee.
Area itself has graffiti, but we felt safe walking early am or at night.

Problems - had problems with heater first night. Front desk staff had to call maintenance man at home to troubleshoot. In room safe did not work. They brought a key in, but did not know how to use. We tried to troubleshoot, but also did not work out.
Worst issue, however, was the restroom smelled like sewer. Thought it was just me the first day, then my friend said the same thing the second day. We told front desk, but problem was not resolved by the time we left. Not sure if all the rooms were like that or just ours, so since we were settled in and unpacked, did not want to repack and end up with another smelly bathroom room.
Not sure would stay again if I return to Split.

Hotel is far from tourism areas. No restaurant, bars, or attractions nearby. Rooms were very clean. Mine was fairly small, but with balcony. Even from high floor, looking towards water view was less than expected. Service at restaurant was fantastic, but menu limited and quiet expensive.

Located within walking distance to old town, in a quiet area, but there are lots of high rise blocks of flats so isn't a pretty area. The roof top pool, hot tub and bar are really nice. The staff were friendly and professional and the room very comfortable. They need to throw away torn bath robes, as mine was dreadful. The transfer from the airport is good value and the driver was excellent company.

Beautiful hotel! The area around the hotel is a little rundown but the property itself is lovely and feels safe. Dining options in the area seemed a little limited. The staff was very helpful and it was wonderful to have parking onsite.

As an Expedia gold vip member I was guaranteed a Late check out. This was not honoured despite showing them the email confirming this. They were aggressive every time I mentioned this to them. Eventually they gave me an hour late check out after various discussions with them. I would rate this hotels facilities highly and their customer services terribly

Great hotel with excellent service. Staffs are friendly and polite especially Jelena. We accidentally poured half bottle of water on the bed around 11pm and Jelena helped us to replace another mattress so that we can have a good sleep that night. Hotel is 15 minutes walking to the old town and I notice this hotel is the meeting point of some excursions. Breakfast is good also and you can relax yourself in the outdoor pool on the top floor with jacuzzi and sea view. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Split instead of hotel in the old town unless you like noisy all the night.

I really like this hotel. The staff was always very professional and nice. I have no complaints regarding the staff nor the cleaninness of the hotel.
love using the sauna and pool after a along day of activ ities.
The only thing i did not enjoy at this hotel was the restaurant. The food was ok but nothing special. It is a bit pricy for the quality you get :(.

Amazing pool and rooftop area

Amazing rooftop pool and hot tub overlooking Split. Nice chairs for sunbathing. The hotel reception and rooms are also really nice. Staff were helpful and accommodated late check in and late check out. We were able to use luggage storage room. The staff gave us a key card to use rooftop area after check out. It is within walking distance of the old town.

Amazing hotel if you're after a relaxing holiday!

Fantastic hotel! Various choices at breakfast. Nice lounge/restaurant area. Wellness centre on rooftop. Gym very basic and limited but equipment in good condition. Nice pool area with amazing views and built in jacuzzis in the swimming pool. Had a full body massage which was superb and use of sauna. Spacious, clean, comfortable room and bathroom with view of city and sea. Service from all staff was great. Only slight negative was location - about 20 minute walk from any beaches and main town.

Visited for a week in September with my fiancé, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We spent lots of time at the pool, very pleasant bar staff and friendly hotel staff. Would recommend and would stay again! Room was also very clean and the bed was big and comfortable!

Good hotel

This Hotel seems to be an old hotel that has been renovated, and the renovations they’ve done are really nice, we really liked the room the service was really good and the advantage of a rooftop pool / bar area is a great bonus. The pool area doesn’t have many sunbeds so wouldn’t be my reccomendation if you wanted a tanning holiday. We used this as a good base within a 15 minute walk to Old Town, and within an hours drive of Krca National Park. We didn’t end up spending as much time as we would’ve liked to in the hotel but would recommend it if you’re on this kind of budget as it’s good value for money.

Fabulous hotel.

A fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. The rooftop pool is amazing and has amazing views and a beautiful spot to sit in the evening and watch the sunset. Beds are very comfortable and very large too. A little bit out from the marina but we used uber all the time and it's only around €2 into the main spot diocletian Palace. The fat boar just across the road does a fantastic burger and philly cheese steak and the staff here are brilliant also. Would definitely recommend dioklecijan Hotel.

Go for the pool experience mainly.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing pool area. The views from there are incredible and the whole poolside vibe is really good.

The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, and there’s not a great deal around, but it’s a 5 minute cab ride into the old town and port.

Pure Luxury in Scenic Surroundings!

Excellent customer service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Pure luxury in our family suite with spectacular views of Split from the balcony. Felt like a new home

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room and balcony was gorgeous and the rooftop pool and terrace was absolutely stunning. This was exactly what was needed to relax.

The concierge staff were also very helpful in helping me when I broke my phone during the trip, they were a life saver.

Lovely boutique like hotel in split. It’s only around £3 using Uber to get a taxi in to town which takes no longer than 5 minutes, don’t use the taxis offered by the hotel or you’ll pay 3x the price!
The hotel was limited on pool snacks but there is a shop next door you can buy crisps etc from just an FYI as this isn’t advertised.
The room was lovely and the bed was huge! Very clean hotel room and nice and spacious too, could not fault the room.
The reception staff could be more friendly however she was there when we arrived at 8am and was still there at 9pm when we left to go out for the evening, which is probably enough to make anyone less hospitable.
The roof top terrace was beautiful, just make sure you get up and put towels down early!
The breakfast was average but the staff in the restaurant were lovely and very attentive.
We liked that you have to use your entry card in the lift to gain access to further floors as it made the hotel feel more secure.
Overall I would definitely recommend to friends and family if there were to come to Split however overall it is nothing to write home about.

Perfect city break hotel

We loved this hotel! It is stylish, clean, peaceful and, for us, the location was perfect!

A pleasant 15 minute walk to the beaches and sights, it was lovely after a meal in the busy town to walk back to the peaceful hotel even if it is slightly uphill! There are also lots of late night supermarkets very close by for a bit of last minute shopping, if needed.

The jewel in the crown of the hotel is the gorgeous roof-top pool and seating & bar area. With a fabulous view of the whole city it is perfect for a day’s sunbathing, or sitting in the shade with a book on the comfy sofas. The pool is gorgeous. Spotlessly clean and just heaven to sit in with a cold beer from the bar, after a day in the heat sightseeing!

The only downside for us was that the breakfast was disappointing. The buffet-style continental breakfast was plentiful but consisted of processed cheese slices and ham slices clearly from a plastic packet. This could be so much better as the local supermarkets are full of lovely fresh artisan cheese and ham which could be provided instead.

That said, we still thought this was a great hotel, we would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay there again if we come back to the fantastic city that is Split.

Check in was interesting.
I can’t remember a more unwelcoming reception experience - think ‘Soviet Charm School’.
Reception area itself was nice, however the room (suite) itself continued the Eastern European theme with harsh, dated lighting, chocolate brown tatty curtains and net-type curtains as well. Beige and brown were the inspiration for the eighties-style furniture.
The bathroom, however, was very clean and modern, and the bed was large.
Breakfast was uninspiring, and the two staff on duty seemed overwhelmed. We didn’t bother returning the following morning. They also charged extra for espresso or an omelette. Unnecessary, I feel.
The rooftop pool area was pleasant with great views - although the pool itself could do with a good clean (Black mould in all the corners/grouting).
We were not allowed a late check out, but we were permitted to use the pool area until our airport transfer, which was welcome.
Overall, disappointing. I expected more for €500 for two nights (well, 36 hours really as we arrived late on day one and had to check out at 11:00 on day two).
I wouldn’t return or recommend.

The entire facility is located on the ground floor of the building, while the only stairs are at the entrance to the building. All rooms have a 160x200 bed, except the small room with terrace that has a bed 140x200 cm size, premium bedding, anti-allergenic pillows.

The rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, a small refrigerator, while the toilet has heated floors and a hairdryer. The rooms are equipped with the most exclusive ceramics and woodwork, and each bathroom has underfloor heating and individual air conditioning per room.

The city of Split, as the cradle of Croatian civilization, began its history in the 3rd century during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, when he decided to build a palace that is today one of the most important UNESCO cultural monuments in the world.
