Great little hotel in Split. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable: a little dated and the bathroom had a faint drainage smell, but that didn't bother us. About 25 mins walk into the old town and 10-20 minutes walk from some lovely beaches; great location as rideshares into town were only around 5 euros. Staff were friendly and very helpful! We liked the Nutella pancakes at breakfast especially. Konoba restaurant a couple of doors down is wonderful too, would recommend. Would absolutely stay here again in Split.

Rooms are tired and shabby. The shower is so small the entire bathroom floor gets wet. Toerls were well worn. Not all sockets in the room allowed devices to be charged. The room was noisy first thing in the morning.

Lovely boutique hotel. Large comfy rooms all individually decorated. The huge bed was sooo comfortable. The pool looks larger in the photos but still nice, with loungers and large umbrellas.There is no shallow end so not really suitable for children. Although the website says breakfast is extra, it is included for everyone, with lots of choice. A real bonus!!

Our stay started off well enough, in a 2 bedroom suite and dining area. The toilet had a sewer smell which we reported, we bought toilet cleaner to manage the smell for our trip, not a big issue.
However, on our last night we came back to darkness, there was no electricity in the room. We had noticed water dripping from the A/C unit even though we haven’t used it. Contacted the reception who offered us a 1 bedroom, which we didn’t want after paying for a 2. While these conversations were taking place after 11pm we heard the dripping and then realised the water was running down the walls from upstairs gushing into the electric box. I had to ask for water and we didn’t receive a sorry, a second bed was set up for us which was great, but overall the customer service was awful, considering the amount of issues we had to deal with in one night, using the lights on phones to gather our stuff in darkness to move rooms. I reported this to Expedia who initiated a request for a partial refund which was ignored by the property. Location is good just watch out for the constant dripping from the AC units landing around the building.

Overall the stay was pleasant. The pool area was great and the location was good - close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars and 20/30 mins to the old town. In our room the aircon wasn’t great so it got quite hot through the night also the room smelled a bit of cigarettes.

Boban Luxury Suites is a small property with excellent service and personable staff. The rooms are well-equipped and have balconies, and the pool area is nice. Many restaurants and the seafront are nearby. The hotel has designated parking spaces, and a full buffet-style breakfast is included.

Disappointing, not a 4 star
Cleaniness was terrible. We booked a garden view suit and it turns out to be carpark view with no privacy. Many things didn't work including a main light in sitting area, a bedside light, broken curtain, wobbly toilet seat. We were told the main light couldn't be fixed. They fixed the bedside light from the list above. We also didn’t have a phone in room, so each day we go to receiption to ask and collect for extra toiletries, which the cleaner failed to replace in 5 of 7 nights we stayed. Receiption staffs were very helpful and friendly in trying to fix most requests but general conditions of the room do not look like that posted on hotels.com that was very disappointing. The pictures posted on hotels.com were perhaps from 1973 when the hotel was established as it proudly displays the year at receiption.

Ivan from reception was great, I needed help with a barbershop booking and he was kind to assist to translate, Apartment is about 18mins walk from town, is not bad, but the pool is very small and you only get sun until around lunch time, is not very luxury how they call it, nice and spacious room, there’s supermarkets nearby and easy to order Uber if you don’t want to walk

Amazing staff! The apartment was super comfy. We had aminor issue with the bathroom and there was a small scent. however, it went away shortly after. Housekeeping ladies were greatt! breafkast was amazing and the people were just awesome.

Great location. Room was superb. I stayed on one of the penthouse suites with a spacious terrace and indoor jacuzzi. The bathroom is large and there is a lot of closet space in the suite. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff is friendly. There are a few parking spots on the location but during peak season I would expect they will be taken. The weather was relatively horrible during my stay there so I can't comment on the swimming pool.

Disappointing - Property Needs Renovation
The room was very small and not at all as advertised. It is more like one room with an incomplete wall partition of sorts and a somewhat dingy bathroom. Although we were greeted by friendly staff at reception, the room smelled like raw sewage. Be advised when booking the penthouse option that you will have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs because the elevators stop at the 3rd floor.

Lovely stay at Boban, the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful unlike a lot of other people in Split! The hotel was immaculate and the rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels. The room was big and enough space for three people. The hotel is about a ten minute walk to the beach and you can get an Uber in to the centre for around 25 kuna if you get dropped off at the end of the promenade closest to the port, it takes around ten minutes depending on traffic.

Avoid getting a room in the annex building down the street (especially the “penthouse”) which are not as nice and the building has no elevator. Otherwise, the main building rooms are large, clean and comfortable but none of the “sea view” rooms actually have sea views... just a peak of the sea from the balconies.

The hotel is well situated for the beach and city centre. The accommodation is clean and modern. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The problem we had was the shower in the room would be either really hot or too cold. The handy man came to fix it but it was still a problem. Also the breakfast is supposed to be served until 11 but there was nothing hot available at that time. Ok if you are an early bird. We had breakfast once in a weeks stay as a result. As a result I won’t be going back.

Book this place with confidence, we loved our stay. First we were greeted by the very friendly young lady at the check-in. I've booked for two but our plans had changed and three of us arrived at the Boban Luxury suites - but she was quickly able to figure out what to do. We received very nice brand new one bedroom apartment with kitchen, great bathroom, balcony, very comfortable beds and much more. Also we were able to park our car for free (I think you have to reserve space but we didn't) and were able to walk to Split attractions on foot - also following recommendations that we've received at the check-in.

My family of 4 with 2 teenagers stayed for 3 nights including New Years Eve. I could not have been more impressed with this place. Wish we’d discovered Boban Luxury Suites earlier!
We only had a day and one night, returning home to England from Vis, so just enjoyed the comfortable surroundings, the swimming pool and exploring locally. We did not sightsee as such, but I am sure it would be very convenient for trips to islands, beaches, the Diocletian Palace etc. We enjoyed watching some serious tennis on the courts nearby!

What a treasure this hotel is. Great location to the beach and a walkable distance to the old town center. Antonia was invaluable- she gave us advice on restaurants, places to see, and she made our trip one of the best we ever had. Marta and the rest of the staff were awesome,too. Nice family run hotel
This is a nice hotel about 1.5km from the city centre. It is family run and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is in a residential environment so has no real views but the rooms are reasonably sized and they are currently updating them. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room but it was fine. Split has some amazing history, we nearly fell into the trap of just having a quick look around after being in many other amazing cities but a walking tour opened our eyes onto how amazing the old city is.

Great staff and breakfast - rooms have changed
The staff at the hotel are wonderful (Antonia is amazing - friendly and helpful!) and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The location was good - a bit of a hike from Old Town Split, but a nice neighborhood with a grocery store and restaurants as well. The room we were given was brand new - clean and well lit. However, it was not the room we thought we had booked. When we booked our vacation in November, we used the hotel's website to view the rooms and then selected (and paid for) through Expedia the suite that we wanted - bedroom with bed that could be turned into two twin beds, separate living room area with a couch. However, when we arrived at the hotel, that room no longer existed. The suite was no longer a suite but instead a single hotel room with a bed that could not be separated into twins. The staff were very accommodating by providing a cot free of charge, and the room still had a balcony with a sea view. However, the change was significant. I really encourage both Expedia and the hotel's own website to update their information and pictures soon, so that other travelers don't end up feeling disappointed.

Possibly the friendliest Croatians we met our whole trip. The penthouse provided a perfect location to relax, sunbathe and view the sea...including a bath on the balcony! Only word of caution is that the two bedroom penthouse is technically a 'standard' layout with an additional bedroom...I.e. The main bedroom has THE en suite bathroom, which the second bedroom uses, so possibly not suited to two couples that aren't so well acquainted for privacy. Not a problem for the four of us that stayed at Boban. Overall, was a fantastic stay.

This is a lovely hotel more like a guest house small friendly and welcoming.The staff can not do enough for you Antonia and Uri were so helpful.It is only a 5 min walk to the beach and about 20 mins walk to the palace and old town.There is a spar supermarket and a chemist just around the corner if you need any supplies.I would definitley return again.

All the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. They made you feel part of the family, were full of fun and interested in recommending things for us to do. The hotel was clean and in excellent condition and the breakfast were served in the courtyard and to a high standard. Our suite consisted of a large bedroom a small lounge and a spacious shower room with all the usual facilities. The hotel was a pleasant 40 minute walk to the town centre around some lovely bays or 15 minutes uphill coming back using the main street. About 5 minutes walk away from a small marina surrounded by pleasant restaurants producing good food and providing excellent service. There was a range of good beaches (rock) from five to twenty minutes walk.

All three units are booked separately. The smallest room is 15 m2 with a terrace, the middle room is 20 m2 and the Duplex apartment is 35 m2 for a total of 4 people.
The entire facility is located on the ground floor of the building, while the only stairs are at the entrance to the building. All rooms have a 160x200 bed, except the small room with terrace that has a bed 140x200 cm size, premium bedding, anti-allergenic pillows.
The rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, a small refrigerator, while the toilet has heated floors and a hairdryer. The rooms are equipped with the most exclusive ceramics and woodwork, and each bathroom has underfloor heating and individual air conditioning per room.
The city of Split, as the cradle of Croatian civilization, began its history in the 3rd century during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, when he decided to build a palace that is today one of the most important UNESCO cultural monuments in the world.
