Cooked breakfast (with good varieties) is provided by cafe downstairs & they readily catered for my lactose intolerance. Tonci at Reception has a wealth of knowledge on services, and his dinner recommendation at Sperun was greatly appreciated.

The hotel is located in an office building. It seems that The View Luxury Rooms is located in only two floors from that building. Our rooms were small and have low quality sheet and towels. We consider that this is not a hotel. This is a floor with small rooms for rental. We also got a very cheap free sparkling wine due to the booking through Expedia. No sure why the Expedia and other websites is giving to the hotel a 4 starts rating which is too high considering the hotel amenities and type of rooms. I would suggest to lower the rating to 2 starts.

One of the best choices we made for our trip was staying in The View Luxury Hotels in Split. The view really was amazing, and the rooms were spacious and very pleasing to stay in. The location was also a few minutes walking distance from everything so that made all our destinations, supermarket, restaurants etc easy to reach. Best of all the staff were incredibly friendly and gave us lots of advice and helped with all our questions so we did not need to worry about how to do anything during our trip.

The hotel is in a tower block on the 8th floor with amazing views. Great location, only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the harbour. Would stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently placed not to far from the harbour and the palace. It was easy to get to and we received an upgrade to a harbour view room which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue for us was the room was very hot, but we were able to open the windows, but of course that made it noisy, but it's only a very small thing. As we went early spring, it was too early for the airconditioning to work, and i guess the rest of the hotel needed heating, but our room was uncomforably hot. as i said only a small thing. other then that it was a great stay and the staff were really helpful and kind.

Good choice room with a view

We chose a room with a view which was very nice. There was aircon in the room, which is necessary because it is very hot inside the building.
Wonderful bathroom with rainfall showerhead, well stocked.
Room was not very spacious, but we had a kettle and a small bar fridge with a very nice closet for our clothes and stuff.
Walking from downtown to the apartments take around 5 to 10 minutes, it is uphill but easily manageable.
Breakfast is good but not excellent.
We had to leave early on out last day, we got a take away because we had to leave so early, but the take away was disappointing, they gave us old left overs, old hard bread, fruit that was only good for the bin. Other than that we had a really nice stay and would recommend.

Having probably done less research than we should have on places to stay, my daughter and I very much felt like we were lucky to have chosen the View for our split accommodation. Easy approach by car. Very close 5 min walk to old city and sights. Exceptionally clean, quiet, and apparently newly renovated building with modern and well designed units. Friendly staff. And only a few minutes drive to car ferry for those heading to the islands. All in all was a wonderful spot to base our adventures in Split.

As a Croatian, I do not advise anyone to stay here. I arrived and requested if they could iron my dress pants for a wedding. They took the pants (over 300 dollars) and completely ruined them, then took them back to try to fix it and made it even worse. Result, did not want to refund me or provide any credit as they were responsible. Breakfast was terrible, no choices, and the food was old and not fresh. One out of the 7 days the eggs were actually warm. The room walls are so thin can hear everything, the elevator is the tiniest, the water pressure in the shower barely worked. Also they clean your rooms super early, if youre having breakfast they take the opportunity to go and clean when they see you. Im giving this place 1/5, the only positive is a nice view and its close to the riva. I would say avoid this place at all costs, not worth it.

This property is on the 8th & 10th floor of a new modern tower block which already sits in an elevated position above the bustling port. The town, Diocletian’s palace and all the bars and restaurants are just a short walk away. The room was large, quiet & modern with a great view. The staff were very helpful and stored our luggage when we arrived early, and let us know as soon as the room was available. Very good breakfast with a view over harbour and islands.

I liked staying here as it was quiet and safe. It had a lovely sea view as well. The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good and they cooked eggs to order which was a bonus.

If you opt to not stay within the palace walls, this is a good, close option. It was only about a 5 min walk to the Riva and the palace. Very easy to get to the port for the island ferries as well.

The next time I'm in Split I'll stay within the palace walls for the experience and convenience, but this hotel met my needs at the time.

Staff messaged us early about parking and advised us to call just before arrival so they could assist with finding the right parking lot.

Tony was working the Front Reception and met us in parking lot and carried both our suitcases up for us.

Tony advised us where to eat in Split. Later upon our return informed me all about the rich history of Croatia. It was an absolute pleasure hearing all his stories!

Breakfast was great and hotel has a very good coffee machine with many selections.

Nice small hotel with nice rooms that are a good size. Great location and tallest building so easy to spot from anywhere in the harbour area.

The rooms are in the eighth and tenth floor of a tower block so I would not stay here with children as the windows didn’t have any restraints on the openings.

The View is in a great location for exploring the Old Town. It's also very close to the beach. The rooms are small, but furnished to a high standard. The view from breakfast and choice of continental options was very good. Staff also very friendly with good local knowledge.
The only downsides were...
Very small towels; and some with holes in them. We've experienced similar sized towels elsewhere on our holiday and so maybe it's a Croatian thing?!?
My husband also wished the breakfast items had been refreshed more regularly. Although loved the coffee!

Great location, just minutes from the port, the riva and the old town. Friendly staff. Great size rooms (big bathrooms and more than enough space to store suitcases in the room without making the room feel cramped). Decent breakfast, with good selection of cheeses, salamis, fruits and veggies, and eggs upon request.

Slight issues with the water temperature - very difficult to find a middle ground between boiling and cold. Air con temperature in the room was set centrally - meant it was too cold for us with the AC on, and too warm with it off.

But overall, good value!

We stayed at this property for our honeymoon and had the best time. You cannot beat this hotels location. In less than 10 minutes you can get to the main town center in one direction or the beautiful public beach. Staff was extremely friendly and even set up transportation to and from the airport for us. Make sure to book the ocean view rooms for a view you cannot beat anywhere in the city!

Lovely place - would return for sure.

Lovely place, not to difficult to find as some reviews suggest. Staff very friendly, breakfast good and location is good. 5-10 min walk from the town and port. Ideal for a night before heading to Hvar/ other islands. One small issue was only a sheet on the bed, there were blankets/quilt in the wardrobe, but no sheet to put the quilt inside.

This is basically an apartment building in a very busy area of Split. The area did not look very safe with nearly every building having graffiti on the walls. The location was good though near old town Split. Also, the room that we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures on here! From the photos you think you’re right next to the ocean but there are dozens of city blocks in between that they’re not showing on that image! Either way. The water view is not of a beach, but rather a busy port full of commercial ships. Not a pleasant/peaceful view.
