Gorgeous hotel, staff were charming, bedroom spotless with gorgeous bed and bed linen! We stayed in a panoramic room which was lovely. The shower did get the bathroom rather wet. Location is only a 10-12 min walk from the old town and in front of a sandy beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent, boutique hotel. The modern exterior belies the more relaxed chic rooms. Briig is a short 10-15 min walk from Split old town so don’t expect to be in the thick of things but there are a number of excellent restaurants close by. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The small bar in the hotel was good for a pre dinner drink but with the options available outside, not somewhere I would spend the entire evening.

Overall, highly recommend as a base to explore split and surrounding areas.

This hotel is exceptionally clean and aesthetic. It is well located in terms of walking into the old town and up the coast. The sea view from our room was lovely. The bed comfortable.

We felt the hotel was a bit odd. Upon check in we were provided with no information at all which meant we had to ask about everything. There are tips on here that I had to ask about because, if I hadn’t have read them I wouldn’t have even known about them!

- The air conditioning in the rooms had to be controlled by reception. You need to speak to them if you want it changed. Since it was on 24 in 33 degree heat, I would have thought someone might mention this.
- There is no bar on the rooftop and it is not staffed so I’m not sure why this is advertised. You can get a drink downstairs and bring it up.
- For the size of the hotel the pool area is really small. It wasn’t possible to always get a sunbed. For the prices charged to stay here, this was a huge problem for us.
- The gym is really very small. You can only really have one or two people in there at a time. There is no water fountain, you have to go into the toilet to refill.
- Breakfast is ok. The fruit spread lovely. However, the coffee provided with the breakfast is disgusting. They clearly know this because you can purchase much nicer coffee.
- You can order fresh omelettes but I only found this out through asking after reading a tip.
- Beach parties most nights can be heard.

It’s fine for a night but not for a holiday.

We loved our time at Briig Boutique Hotel. The room with a sea view was absolutely beautiful—modern, cozy, and full of light. The staff were genuinely friendly and always happy to help, which made us feel really welcome. We loved Hotel Briig! Beautiful boutique hotel that was clean and in excellent condition. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The main beach in Split was right across the street. Walk to the town in less than 15 minutes or Uber for 6E’s. Rooftop pool was great to relax at the end of the day. Only minor little thing was the tub was tall- a bit tough to get in and out of for a shower. Would highly recommend for a stay though!!!

Great location, less than 1 minute walk from beach and less than 10 minutea walk to Old Town. Seems like a new hotel and has a focus on design as it is quite fancy inside and has lots of design coffee table books everywhere.

Room is generally good, although a few points to note - air con controller is not set for user to control so set at 23deg all the time. Behind the bed is a desk which is pointless andit would be better to do away with and have more space at the bottom of the bed and push bed back to the wall. TV does not support any kind of connectivity so you can't watch any of your streaming apps (I wouldn't normally mention this but last few hotels I've stayed in have had this so it is something to expect). Worst of all is the shower, it is a free standing bath with an extendable hose attachment to use as shower soas there is nowhere to fix it to, it means one handed showers in front of a window. Terrible design.

Breakfast is ok, good choice of fruits, yogurts, meats and cheeses. Limited hot options of fried eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, a chorizo-like sausage, hot dog sausage, grilled aubergine and pancetta (the closest thing to bacon but not something to please UK bacon fans). Coffee is ok (automatic bean to cup machine) and fruit juice is from a machine and diluted.

Staff don't really engage with you unless spoken to in which case they are helpful but could do with learning better hospitality (ie asking if we want a taxi when we checked out).

My room was beyond comfortable, clean, and spacious. It was nice to come back to that after a long day out in the sun (I stayed during the hot August month). I didn’t realize how much it mattered to me to come back to somewhere really nice. I would recommend if you want to be slightly outside of the busy area. The beach there is OK and can get a little loud at night (a public beach) but it was nonetheless worth it for me.

Altogether had a great stay at the Briig Hotel which served as a convenient home base for our time in Split. It was close to the old town while being slightly removed and as such felt like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The lobby is aesthetically gorgeous and the pool was great to have during the heat wave but there were some small details (worn finishings, drains that were slow, etc). Service was warm and helpful in providing recommendations for outings/rental services and accommodating dietary concerns during breakfast. Altogether a comfortable stay and would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone. It was exactly like the pictures and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and everyone was so helpful and polite. There was the bonus of the rooftop pool area (which isn’t very big, so get there early if you want a space!) The selection at breakfast wasn’t huge but it was varied and good quality. The only slight downside for us was that it was a little bit of a walk into the old town. We knew this when we booked to be fair but it was much hotter when we were there so struggled to walk it, so opted for Ubers. This was very quick and convenient though. Overall would recommend and would definitely return to Hotel Brigg.

The hotel is across from the beach. There are lots bars and restaurants along the beach. The Old Town/port is an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel pool was a great setup with at least 12 lounge chairs plus seating for 6. The view from the deck was great. The ground level has the restaurant/bar with wonderful seating outside on a lawn. Thanks to Valentino at the front desk for making our stay so nice. The only drawback is the room temperature is regulated by the hotel. The website gives an accurate view of the hotel.

The sea view from the room was fantastic (cushions could have been better, but bed was comfortable) and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. I had two scrambled eggs on toast and bacon with fresh orange juice…it was delicious & just what I needed before heading back home! The beach is right in front of the hotel and the marina a 5 minute walk. The old town is about 10 minutes walk from hotel which was super convenient. I definitely will be staying here again!

It looks like a four star hotel but it’s certainly isn’t. The AC in our room simply didn’t work. Despite multiple requests and attempts to fix it - still hot in the room. Management simply did nothing. Not even apology. In addition the Briig hotel rents it’s outside space right beneath our windows for private parties with live music. It was blasting until midnight. Overall- pretty bad experience. Would not recommend it

Wonderful hotel, absolutely beautiful! So comfortable and spotlessly clean. I travel a lot and am rarely impressed by hotels but this was exceptional value for money. The staff are professional and efficient, they organized an early check-in for me, and even offered free breakfast even though we'd only just arrived. The food was phenomenal too for Dinner. The hotel is new with beautiful design and tastefully selected furniture. The room is spacious and clean, with double facial basin and a big bed. All the staffs we met are friendly and attentive. The bar both indoor and outdoor are very comfortable. Restaurant serves very good quality breakfast. Walk to main promenade area is about 10 over mins or you can take Uber for about eur2. I enjoyed my stay very much and has been sharing with my family and friends how fabulous the hotel is. I am looking forward to come back soon for my next stay.

Beautiful simple decor hotel - good location only 15mins walk to Split Old Town and right on the city beach. Great team - was able to early check in shortly after I arrived early morning and sorted any issues in room promptly.
One comment - lack of adjustable wall showers. Shower head at waist height so you have to hold it up to wash hair.

Superb new boutique hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights in September. Design is like something off Grand Designs! Rooms are a great size and superbly furnished. Large bathrooms with great walk in shower. Terrific breakfasts, ask for a fresh omelette! Good range of fruit and meat, just avoid the hot buffet. Pool small but superb outlook from the rooftop. There is a lack of sun beds, but not a huge deal. Customer service could be improved but early days for a new hotel. Location is spot on, 10 mins from ferry an bus, 15 mins from Old Town. Highly recommended.

Lovely positioned hotel.

This hotel was in an excellent position. Just across the road from the beach with underground parking. Very clean, amazingly modern and comfortable furniture throughout, excellent interior design. Staff that spoke very good English and very helpful. The bedroom was very spacious with a large bed, comfortable pillows. There were little things that could be tightened up on such as, provision of drinking water, we were allocated only one bottle for the whole of our stay and bought in our own for the rest of time. Although the kitchen is not up to full capacity, the breakfast choices and presentation was excellent. Fresh fruit, variety of cooked food, cereals, great choice of coffee; however, in the evening, although there was no dinner provided at the moment, it would be a good idea to provide some bar snacks such as nuts, crisps which does not need any cooking for patrons using the services of the bar in the evening..
The choice of drinks provided is excellent, and the cocktails were delicious.
It was a surprise that the treadmill in the gym was not working after only 3 months of opening. There did not seem to be any rush to have it fixed. The carpets in the lifts had some stains, which detracts from the overall cleanliness of the hotel
This hotel is wonderful and with a few minor tweaks, could be 5 star.
Everything said, I would stay there again.

This is a lovely property and the location is great too. The staff at reception, bar and restaurant are really lovely and very helpful too.
The housekeeping could be better as not everything was renewed every day. It would be great if the restaurant was open in the evening and the menu was expanded to something other than burgers.
Considering it is a new hotel the carpets looked very dirty which spoils the chic look of the rest of the hotel.

The Briig was simply a fantastic place to stay.Location beside the beach, great amenities including an excellent breakfast which was available from 6.30 to 11.00.

Being a new hotel everything was really modern and stylish. We really liked all of the areas of the hotel including the lobby, breakfast area , patio and of course our room.
It is actually nicer than it looks in the photos with loads of classy chairs and lights everywhere. The hotel is also quite spacious for a boutique , the rooms are big as are the common areas including a lovely sitting area downstairs. On our last day our flight wasn't until 11PM and the hotel held our bags until

We were very impressed with the hotel, we thought the quirky architecture and contemporary interiors were really cool. Cleanliness was impeccable, staff were lovely and the breakfast was unreal- the biggest and most delicious spread! The rooftop pool was also lovely with great views, but there are limited sun beds so you have to get out there early!
It was opposite the beach and in a nice area of town although not in right in the centre of old town although, it’s about a 15 minute walk so not far and it’s close to the ferry port and bus station. Only thing they could have added was an iron in the room otherwise highly recommend!

Loved the breakfast and the hotel is stylish. Reception staff helpful.
Pool very small and you often can't get a seat (and beach near by isn't great) so depends if you want a chill / sun holiday. Breakfast service is a bit chaotic and can take 30 mins to get a coffee.

Beautiful, modern, clean and comfortable

The building itself isn’t gorgeous but once you get inside this hotel is just stunning. Cool and contemporary but really comfortable as well. I had a great nights sleep in a super big, cozy bed. The rooms are modern, clean and pretty big plus there are great products in the bathroom. The swimming pool is really lovely - the only downside being that as we checked in at around 5pm, there were no sun beds left and (this is nitpicking) when we first arrived the pool area had quite a few empty glasses and a couple of used ashtrays laying around and the laundry bin for used pool towels was overflowing - it just needs someone to keep an eye on it during the day. Breakfast in the morning was very good and the outdoor seating was comfortable and well designed. We didn’t use the beach as it was fairly crowded and, given that Croatia has some stunning beaches, this one is not quite as pretty by comparison. Otherwise, I’d recommend the hotel highly and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Amazing new hotel

Amazing place! Loved the interior design. The rooms were absolutely amazing with a king size bed, spacious and clean. We would totally recommend staying at this hotel! We will be coming back to Split and will stay at Briig boutique hotel.

Gorgeous location, exceptional service!

We did not know what to expect, the hotel is brand new❣There is an excellent breakfast buffet included in the room price. The pool is on the roof with panoramic views of gorgeous Split❤️The staff is very caring and helpful, especially Vana and Marina😍Everything is excellent at the Hotel Briig

Fab little find!

Fabulous hotel stay, start to finish. Friendly smiley staff, spacious clean rooms and perfect location.
Still finding their feet re breakfast service but nothing a problem and food on offer was fresh and varied.
Highly recommend.

Brand New Hotel

The hotel was beautifully designed. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and considerate. The breakfast was amazing and had a nice selection of food. The breakfast schedule was generous. The staff was attentive. The location from the beach was ideal, although a bit of a walk to town. A real plus to have a pool and sauna room but the room did not appear to be used. As for the amenities, it would be great if the hairdryer and face towels were already available in the room. The tray where the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were placed is precarious and everything falls over at the slightest movement. A soap dish and a box of tissues would be nice additions. These small details can make a difference sometimes. The information on the hotel on the iPad were very general and was not as helpful as it could be. The hotel restaurant was not officially opened during our stay but would’ve love to have tried it. Overall, this brand new hotel feels clean and sleek but perhaps still not fully operating with all that it has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend it.

Close to perfection

We had a issue with a vibration noise in the wall on the first night of a four night stay . The staff and management were genuinely concerned handled the situation professionally, and made every effort to ensure that we were comfortable with the remainder of our stay . The service was impeccable, breakfast a delight, made all the more enjoyable by the attention of Ivan . We would certainly stay again and are happy to recommend both the hotel , staff and location to the city .
