Beautiful surroundings great table food excellent , service friendly and professional however hard to get there in the mountains very narrow roads not recommendable at night .
This is a place for wedding parties so be prepared for busy evenings at dining facilities In Agusto 22 weddings in 31 days !

The setting in in beautiful rolling countryside near the town of Alberobello. It seems to be a popular spot for groups and tours as it was very noisy at night until the DJ stopped close to 11pm. The room we had was adjoining another in the same “villa” (which is built with concrete blocks....my wife termed it The Bunker) so we heard our 3 young female neighbours quite clearly. If you want peace and quiet you may want to consider another spot. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed our dinner despite the challenge of understanding the terms on the menu. Our waiter Gianni was helpful and we found the food very good with nice presentation. It g was clear a chef put it together with flavour combinations in m

The location in pine woods is pleasant albeit a little windswept and feeling out of season for our stay in October. The restaurant is housed in delightful trulli with most accommodation in modern built masseria which are in local farmhouse style in local tufa stone. The whitewashing of the interior stone was a little stark. The menu at the restaurant was limited and the food rather average.

An excellent place to stay

Whilst it is just past the main season, the amenities at the hotel are good and the location very pleasing being quite and pretty. The restaurant set in a \"Trulli\" building was excellent and the staff efficient and friendly. An absolute compliment to visiting the village/town of Alberobello to see the Trulli houses but you do need satnav to find it although if you had a good map you might do so anyhow.
We did not realise it was set high up until we left the following morning en-route to Ostuni when we were able to stop at a scenic pull in area overlooking the sea before making the hairpin bend decent to the coastline.

Relaxing stay

You need a car as this is quite remote, but the grounds are beautiful and the food is good. Shady swing-seats around the pool are very inviting. There were no weddings during our stay, though we did see many couples checking it out as a possible venue. It was peaceful and relaxing. Trulli rooms are charming but have less mod cons than the other rooms.

Ideal situation for exploring the Trulli region of

Lovely to stay in a historical Trulli room away from the main hotel but would like to have known that there would be a wedding held in the restaurant area behind our room every night! We were unable to sit outside our room as it was used as a bit of a storage and smoking area. Also we really needed air conditioning for our stay in August! However, restaurant served great Italian food, the Breakfast buffet was excellent with a great choice and the pool area was lovely set in beautiful gardens with plenty of shade and a great place to relax.

off season woes

Lovely idyllic holiday but facilities not great!

Beautiful holiday, pleasant staff. However we went in Feb and got an off season discount for it.Welcome nice, cleanliness and rooms lovely. However as it was off season restuarant closed and therefore breakfasts left a lot (and I mean a lot) to be desired.
Pool was unusable sadly. We would go again as advantage was we got the place to ourselves but I am sure this wouldn't be everyone's reaction !

Good value hotel

The large grounds of this hotel made it an interesting and relaxing stay. Staff were polite and attentive. Very nice pool. We thought the restaurant menu was a bit ordinary and there wasn't many things that were 'kid friendly'.

Very peaceful rural location

An out of season stay in late May in a room in one of the half dozen or masseria that are scattered around the extensive grounds. The Trulli village looked good but was probably really noisy at weekends when there is invariably a wedding on. Very few people staying which meant the outside pool was a people free zone and the excellent breakfast buffet was a laid back affair with plenty of time to chat with the great staff. Although the dinner was excellent with local specialities on the menu it was expensive so we ate out most nights ( good places within a mile or so). In all a good base to see most of the interesting places in Puglia but you need a car.

One pice of advice: don't drive over if it's night time since streets are very narrow. We loved the hotel it was so luxurious and comfortable in all senses! Rooms looked new and they have spa like facilities. It's not a hotel for a one night stay

Trulli stay with pool and beautiful gardens.

Beautifully situated in the country but only 20 minutes away from the coast. we stayed in a Trulli and it was a lovely experience. The pool and surrounding gardens were lovely and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly

Great Place to Visit

Hotel Tenuta Monacelle is truly a superb place to stay. The staff was very helpful in finding local attractions as well as providing quality service. The restaurant was phenomenal with great food and fast service. The downside was the room cleanliness, but it was really not a big issue other than dirt on the floor. This could be attributed to our early season visit, but we will definately visit here again.

When we arrived there was no one on reception which was quite perturbing. We tried phoning but the numbers didn't work. The receptionist did appear and took us to our room. The menus was limited because it was off season. If you don't speak any Italian this might be a big problem.
The room was basic and cleaned regularly to a good standard but there was a problem with ants and the overall impression was that it was tired and needed some time m ding the shower, replacing batteries in safe etc.

This is a beautiful, well kept property (although a bit difficult to find) with an excellent restaurant and lovely rooms. The location is isolated but good for exploring the surrounding attractions. I would highly recommend staying here.

Superb hotel, friendly and helpful staff

Selected this hotel pretty much by chance, so a little apprehensive prior to travel despite good reviews, but needn't have worried as hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. Hotel a little tucked away, but easy to find as well sign-posted. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with good English. Hotel, grounds and pool complex very well maintained and very well laid out. Room and en-suite bathroom furnished to a high standard with ample cupboard space. Very clean. Superb hotel restaurant in a lovely setting. Excellent food and a good wine list, all very reasonably priced. The one negative is the lack of other restaurants and entertainment in the near vicinity, but this is more than made up for by the peace and tranquility of the hotel grounds and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Excellent customer service, beautiful surroundings. You'll need a car though, as the hotel is in the middle of the mountains and there's not much choice of food in the hotel. Apart from that the staff is lovely and we were very pleased with the hotel. The hotel beach is lovely too!

Underbart ställe. Men dålig service . Inget schampo på timmer . Vatten på rummet endast 2;a dagen. Svårt att gö köps vatten . Badhanddukar tog de extra betalt för och fanns inte att få tag på förrän baren vid poolen öppnade runt 11-12. Snålt och anorektisk på alla sätt , men en fantastisk miljö !

No te quedes en este hotel y en trulli peor, no cierran las puertas la cama y el colchón incómodos, rechinan el baño incómodo no hay aire acondicionado en algunas fuimos con unos amigos y el trulli de ellos estaba peor, el lavamanos le salía agua por todos lados! La pasamos fatal el peor de lo peor, el desayuno para sentarse a llorar y encima de todo retirado de todo queda no hay nada alrededor

L'immagine dell'Hotel é fuorviante. Eravamo convinti di aver riservato una camera in un trullo invece siamo stati destinati in una camera della struttura esterna standard (senza wifi, Televisore piccolo e di vecchia generazione). Avevamo prenotato una \"camera superior,terrazzo, vista giardino\" desiderando un pernottamento intimo invece, oltre a non dormire nel trullo, avevamo un mero ingresso piastrellato sulla stradina principale con un tavolino. Eravamo senza shampoo e dopo 3 ore di attesa e varie richieste (alla prima richiesta ci è stato risposto di utilizzare il bagno doccia del corpo per i capelli) ci è stato consegnato uno shampoo.
Il letto matrimoniale prenotato non era matrimoniale ma due letti singoli uniti.
A nostro avviso, per non aver dormito in un trullo, a 20km dal mare, prezzo pagato per una singola notte, troppo alto.

We hebben twee leuke dagen gehad, maar minder leuke nachten. Ik begin graag positief te schrijven over onze ervaring. We konden de dag heerlijk beginnen aan het ontbijt, genoeg keus en ontzettend aardige bediening, 's Middags was het heerlijk om te genieten van het mooie zwembad met daarbij een drankje. Het park is mooi en wordt goed onderhouden.
Bij het inchecken werden we naar ons huisje gebracht en werd door een aardige medewerker kregen we allerlei info. Tot zijn telefoon ging, want dan moest hij tussendoor steeds even reageren op zijn collega. We hadden in eerste instantie een ander huisje geboekt in de buurt, maar deze had geen airco, dat bleek met temperaturen van boven de 35 wel prettig. Toen zijn we op zoek gegaan naar een huisje met airco. We merkten dat het niet koel werd in onze kamer en het 's avonds en 's nachts veel warmer in de kamer. Buiten was het in de avond 25 graden, in onze kamer veel warmer. Na langs te zijn gegaan bij de receptie, over en weer te hebben gebeld moesten we vooral wachten en wachten. Na een kwartier moesten we iets resetten, daarna nog eens weer en vervolgens zouden we een uur moeten wachten voordat de airco het zou doen. Niks.. Na de tweede nacht was het tijd om uit te checken. 'Sorry' was de enige reactie die we kregen. Voor bijna 160 euro per nacht zou ik verwachten dat er ten minste meer actie vanuit hun kant zou komen, een ventilator, andere kamer, een compenstatie, maar we konden het doen met 'sorry'.

Hôtel familial dans un cadre charmant

Cadre agréable, en pleine nature, vaste, au calme et une température moins élevée qu'au centre de Monopoli. Les chambres ne sont pas des trullis donc petite déception. Elles sont grandes bien équipées mais sans charme et pourraient être rafraichies. Nous étions inquiets au sujet du bruit généré par les mariages mais nous n'avons pas été dérangé, le personnel ayant pris soin de nous donner une chambre à l'écart. La piscine est grande et tient lieu de rdv pour les familles avec enfants. Elle était moyennement propre. Les transats sont parfois en nombre insuffisant. Le petit déjeuner et les repas servis à la piscine sont loin d'être qualitatifs.

Apesar de ser longe dos centros turísticos por estar no meio das montanhas perto da cidade de Fasano, o hotel nos conquistou pelo lugar encantador. Os quartos são no meio do campo, mas super confortáveis. Caso tenha muita bagagem, o melhor é solicitar um carrinho elétrico para ajudá-lo. O café da manhã também é delicioso.Só senti falta de uma maior variedade de queijos. Super recomendo.

Mooi hotel ligt in een prachtige rustige omgeving.
Beslist een auto nodig.
Ontzettend aardig personeel !
Fantastisch ontbijt en elke ochtend een heerlijk omelet met verse ingrediënten.
La Siësta restaurant vlak in de buurt is een aanrader om heerlijk Italiaans te eten. Het is een eenvoudig restaurant met een top service.

ホテルの写真がTrulliだったので、部屋の窓からスケッチする予定でした。ガーデンビューの部屋予約したのですが、Trulliはレストラン棟の屋根のみで、部屋から見えなく残念でした。WiFi のコネクションが良くないです。

Traumhaft, auch bei Hitze

Auf Hochplateau gelegene wunderschöne Hotelanlage mit traditionellen und modernen Zimmern in Trulli und Masserien, tolle Poolanlage unter hohen Pinienbäumen, immer angenehme Brise trotz hochsommerlicher Temperaturen. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites und zuvorkommendes Personal an Rezeption und im Restaurantbereich. An Wochenenden z.T. sehr lebhaft aber auch unterhaltsam wegen häufig grosser Hochzeitsgesellschaften. Die Nachtruhe wird hierdurch nicht gestört. Im Radius von 1,5h sind viele interessante Orte zu erreichen (Castel del Monte, Bari, Gioia del Monte, Ostuni, Monopoli, Lecce, Alberobello ...), 0,5h bis zum Meer: ein Auto ist unverzichtbar. Für italienische Verhältnisse (und auch sonst) unfassbar vielseitiges leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr bemerkenswert mit lokalen hübsch angerichteten und leckeren Gerichten, wenn auch etwas teuer.

Magnifique endroit a prix cassé grace a voyage sncf. Prestations excellentes. Voiture indispensable car assez retiré. Le plus pour moi les 900 cerisiers couvert de fruits, accessibles aux clients.. Expérience rare. Le buffet du petit déjeuner compris dans le forfait est remarquable de choix et de fraîcheur des produits proposés
