The staff is very friendly and nice. However we had tons of ants in our room and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Also, if you're travelling with a pet be prepared to leave it in the toom the entire stay. Pets are not allowed anywhere but the room :(

Sierra Silvana- a win all around!

This great hotel on the mountainside was a wonderful weekend getaway for my family. It’s property was larger than I expected and beautifully manicured. My kids enjoyed the huge pool (and trampoline), and my husband and I enjoyed the live music in the evening with a drink from their bar. Service was great and it was a close drive to the beach and local attractions. I would stay here again!

Lovely hill top setting and garden view from room balcony. Room good with comfortable bed and bathroom with all facilities. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and dinner menu good with large starters!! Pool huge!! Although not decorated in a modern style it had an Italian charm. Would recommend.

good service rooms cleaned every day spotless. Great pool and out side areas. Downside no in room brewing facilities and the air con was fixed around 22/23 c did speak to reception and was told it needed time to cool down. But didn't change all of the time we were. But good hotel

Hotel 12 miles approx from coast so how come I was allowed to request a sea view . I also requested walk in shower which management told me on arrival they didn’t have, a room was found with a shower which was very poor and smelled if you sat on the toilet your feet were in the shower Very disappointed with Expedia . I realise that you can’t view all hotels but this was very disappointing and may I add a terrible road up to hotel even for an experienced driver .

Front desk staff were always extremely helpful. Lots of parking available. No water in kids pool but it was out of season (last week in Oct)....the main pool was still open though. Great service in restaurant. Menu and food in restaurant was great. Good selection for breakfast buffet. Menu of the day for dinner was good and there were nice varied choices every day. You'd really need a car to get out and about, if staying here out of season, as many local places are closed. Saying that there are a couple of good restaurants nearby within walking distance. Location is a good base for sightseeing in the area or trips out to the coast/beach (by car).

Lovely hotel, very quiet.

We had a lovely short stay at Sierra Silvana. It is a pretty hotel and the staff were very helpful. It is in a very peaceful location. We ate out at the nearby restaurant The Grand Quercia which we highly recommend. There is a small shop close by and bar which were both lovely. We loved seeing the nearby Trulli and drove to Lido Morelli which is about 20 minutes away and is a beautiful beach. Try one of Mimo's (the barman at the Sierra Silvana) Mojito's - they are very good. Close to places such as Alberobello, Cisternino and Ostuni if you have a car.

The hotel's main lobby/building was nice but the building where our room was located looked old fashioned and dark. The room was not that spacious and the bed was horribly hard. I liked the garden and playground area. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good.
Would I come back? Probably not ☹️️

We had a relaxing time at this hotel, it was quiet, and just what we were needing. Hotel is very clean, and staff very helpful. As we knew the area very well we knew exactly where to go, however could be out of the way for some visitors who do not have local knowledge.
Beautiful part of Italy, car is essential to benefit from all of the surrounding towns and countryside.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel - 20 mins from beach

Food ok, but pleased we had a car & could drive around the area and out to dinner in evening. Alberrobello lovely. Wouldn't have enjoyed the half board option. Breakfast ok, loads of cake! so kids were happy! but not great choice of fruit (weird considering the area).
Pool area nice, sister hotel on beach nicer and worth tsking bus or driving to (you pay €20 extra per person for parasol, €10 for kids).

Impeccably clean hotel with very helpful staff

The hotel is incredibly clean with a beautiful pool area, including a toddler's pool. The bar looks onto the pool area which is lit up at night. Reception are friendly and helpful, and generally speak good English if you can't speak Italian. They helped us reserve taxis and tables at local restaurants. The food in the restaurant is very good with the Friday night buffet of typical Pugliese food being especially good. I would recommend hiring a car though as there isn't much to do in the Main Street of Selva di Fasano so we had to book taxis to sightsee in nearby towns, though they offer free bus passes to local sights like the Zoosafari Park.

The customer is ALWAYS wrong.

Fading run-down hotel would have been acceptable EXCEPT the only way to keep the one electrical outlet in the room and the one in the bathroom live was to keep the lights on all night. When we complained to the front desk and management, they said we were wrong. No one would come to the room to help us and by 2:00 am we had moved furniture, unplugged and replugged everything we could reach. Everywhere else in Europe the lights are dim; this entry was a spotlight. So bright we eventually climbed up on a chair and ran a blanket through the ceiling tile supports to try to dim it. No matter what we said, the hotel just said we were wrong. No checking. No help. Nothing. We left after one night, even though we had to pay for the second night. Found another hotel where we could sleep and were respected. Threw away money to avoid NOT sleeping in this sorry place another night.

Big beds and big breakfast!

Great breakfast buffet offered and nice little surrounding neighborhood. While we didn't stay inside the Trulli hut on the property....it was located in the center of the property next to the playground. My kids LOVED the playground before and after everything. That was a big plus. Our room was small because the two beds were a nice size.

The hotel is placed in a good location and very well maintained. The staff is kind and trying to help. Unfortunately is very difficult to reach it by car if you rely on GPS only. Only after the staff instructions it can be reached by a convenient and non-dangerous road.

We had an amazing time at Sierra Silvana Hotel!! Our family stayed at the hotel for two nights as we toured a little of the boot of Italy. They had a pool, playground equipment and a trampoline for the kids! The kids loved this about the hotel!!
We had a quad room which was a little tight at time but this is Europe and not America!
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to our friends.

The hotel was beautiful. The restaurant is world class and the service was superb. The only problem is it's difficult to find and the address listed on their web site doesn't jive with GPS. I would suggest he hotel list it's location using GPS coordinates and revise their address to match their actual location.

Did it all, well.

Went for a family vacation and it was great. Child friendly, staff friendly, place is absolutely spotless. Food good, and we could go to the hotel restaurant when we wanted for lunch and dinner. Very handy with kids if you don't want to eat out.You need a car to stay here, but that goes for all of this region, you need to explore it. Very close to nice places to visit including the depressing ZooSafari. The rooms are tight for a family bigger than 3, although maybe we would have been put in a bigger room if we were more. Sparse on comfort but thats the italian way I guess. Anyhow we will be back there, brilliant holiday!

Great for families!

This is a great hotel with very friendly staff. We loved it. The breakfast is fine. Not amazing, but definitely enough variety. The rooms are very good. The only problem we had was with the fridge in the room. It was not cold at all. They changed it, but the new one was the same. Besides this, it was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is on top of the mountain, so if you plan on going to the beach, you might need a car to move around the area and to go to the beach. The sister hotel has an amazing beach and it is free to use. That is like 20 minutes away by car. The area has great places to visit, worth renting a car. Some restaurants around the hotel and also a small shop to buy water and small things. The pool is very very nice! Great place! we loved it!

Don't go out of season - whenever that is!!!!

The hotel proved to be of a fair standard. This was our first visit to this part of Italy and we didn't realize it was closed! It would have been nice for someone on a review etc. to have let people know that absolutely nowhere in the area is open during this time of the year. Apart from a small group of German OAP's we were the only people in the hotel. Standards in the hotel are pretty average. The room was clean if a little sparse, a small fridge, but no safe or coffee making facilities. If you are planning any kind of beach/sunseeking holiday then don't book this hotel before June/July - it seems that all the surrounding towns are closed completely. The only exception to this was the lovely tourist town of Alberobello. I really should also mention access to the hotel - you can only get to this hotel up a very steep and winding hill road and a hire car is a must. I would really think about what you want from your holiday before booking this hotel.

Very Flexible, Highly Recommend

Very Professional and an front desk worker spoke Italian as well as English! I had a last minuted situation and couldn't stay for the amount of days, I paid. When I checked in and explained the situation they worked with me to give me an extra room, instead of charging me a nights stay for changing my reservation at the last minute. My children had a blast! they and a mini playground for younger kids. The facilites looked great and the pool was magnificant! Will stay there again and recommend others to check out!

Il parchetto per i bambini TOP.
Unico neo il mini club, le operatrice dovrebbe interagire di più con i bambini, no sempre e solo colori e puzzle, evitando cosi di far stare i genitori insieme a loro.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sierra Silvana. We would have liked some more information in english from the hotel during our stay. It was a coinsidence, that we decided to eat on the hotel friday night - and my god we could have missed \"Traditional puglian night\". The food was absolutely fantastic! But beforehand, we didn't receive any information about it.
The rooms are ok. Not that large, and the pillows are extremely flat and hard. Nice balcony with chairs and table.
The sounds from the staircase was going straight through the door, every little sound came in our room.
The pool area - great. Even a couple of exercising machines by the poolside (and tabletennis).
The breakfast was not down our alley. Too much cake and sweet stuff - not much \"real\" breakfast.
The noise was sometimes a bit too much for us scandinavians in the restaurant, but i guess thats culture.
As we arrived late, the reception ordered a table for us at the nearby local restaurant \"La Grande Quercia\" only 4-500 m from the hotel - Wow! We came back nearly every night after that experience. Such a cosy place - nice waiters - and the food....terrific and authentic. Our warmest recommendations.

struttura meravigliosa,piscina ,hall, giardino interno bellissimo giochi per bambini,eravamo Entusiasti c'era tutto e tutt'ora penso che sia una fantastica struttura,reception cortesi ,sala colazioni il ragazzo di nome Bruno fantastico di una gentilezza superlativa ,disappunto per la signora con i capelli rossi che non ci ha saputo fare con i modi tanto è vero che appena abbiamo visto Bruno ci siamo fatti servire da lui anche perche lei si è dimenticata proprio di no.
Nota dolente purtroppo la camera la nostra esperienza meriterebbe un giudizio di 1,arredamento molto datato ovvio che è un giudizio personale l'arredamento che ad altri potrebbe piacere, non da 4 stelle sicuramente per me vasca scomoda camera piccola per 4,canali Sky non funzionavano,ma appena arrivati abbiamo dovuto richiedere una nuova pulizia capelli e peli lenzuola sporche con dentro capelli, dopo aver ripulito la stanza torniamo e cmq il set che avevo appoggiato sulla vasca sporco la è stato lasciato senza cambiarlo e cmq non era stata pulita di nuovo bene ma abbiamo sorvolato.Ieri sera rientriamo a mezzanotte,la camera invasa di formiche tutta la stanza il bagno la vasca piena di formiche e anche lì abbiamo dovuto chiamare e tempestivamente hanno risolto ,la mattina al risveglio ci siamo cmq ritrovati le formiche.Checkout triste nemmeno ci hanno chiesto come è andata.Peccato,siamo stati sfortunati per la camera mi spiace molto,la struttura merita davvero molto,da migliorare molto la pulizia delle camere

Vi bodde her for femte gang i sommer. Beliggenheten er fantastisk, opp fra den verste varmen ved kysten og i grei kjøreavstand til en perlerekke av byer som Martina Franca, Locorotondo og Cisternino. Hotellområdet er stort og grønt, bassenget stort og friskt. Noen minuser i år som følge av Covid-restriksjoner, som at frokostbuffeten var erstattet med bestilling til personale bak et gjerde. Det bør også nevnes at rommene er litt små for tre personer, uten at det plager oss. Men alt i alt nok en vellykket ferie her

Typisch italiaans hotel, maar gedateerd. Groot zwembad. en genoeg ligzetels.
Netheid was een pluspunt.
Weinig info gekregen ad balie. Zo zagen we pas laat - op Hotels.com nota bene - dat er een strandmogelijkheid was.
Het ontbijt liep zeer stresserend. Alle respect voor de maatregelen nav covid - obers serveerden wat jij op het buffet aanwijst - maar de vriendelijkheid was vaak ver te zoeken. Kortaf. Bij momenten een bijenzwerm aan gasten en de volgorde van aanschuiven werd zeker niet gerespecteerd. Wij hadden het gevoel dat Italianen altijd voorrang kregen.
Luide livemuziek die tot laat overal te horen was. Wij hadden nochtans zelfs een kamer achteraan het complex.
Al bij al wel ok naar prijs-kwaliteit.

Excelentíssimo custo x beneficio. Localização um pouco afastada da praia mas ainda razoavel . Estrutura na praia do hotel parceiro muito boa.
Atendimento excepcional.
Apenas a cozinha deve ter uma melhoria importante.
O fato de não estender o benefício da estrutura da praia ao hóspede sem meia pensão é muito antipatica é desnecessária. Se a diferença entre as tarifas é a alimentação pq tem diferença no acesso as estruturas? Parte dos hospedes tem acesso a praia e parte não?
Resolvendo estás poucas mas importantes coisas poderia ser excelente .

La camera non corrispondeva a quanto pubblicizzato su internet. Dalla finestra della camera si notava una specie di costruzione in cemento molto brutta a vedersi. I letti molto scomodi. I vetri della camera molto sporchi. Nella vasca sarebbe necessario un tappetino antiscivolo. Il personale alla nostra richiesta di cambio camera prima ha risposto che avrebbe provveduto ma il giorno dopo se ne era palesemente dimenticato.

Super consigliato

Hotel immerso nella selva di Fasano e quindi nel verde e nella tranquillità, tuttavia vicino ad una \"passeggiata\" in cui trovare molti piccoli locali a prezzi accessibili. Entro 20/30 minuti di auto sono raggiungibili tutte le mete più gettonate della Val D'Itria, come Zoo Safari, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca etc. La camera era ampia e comoda, con arredamento non troppo moderno ma pratico: molte prese, TV funzionante, bagno pulito e attrezzato (anche nei dettagli, tipo lo specchio per il trucco). Le camere si trovano in diverse palazzine che si affacciano su un giardino interno, in cui di trova anche il parco giochi per i bambini. Ci sono due belle piscine di cui una per i piccoli. La colazione è buona ed abbondante; c'è una navetta per raggiungere il lido dell'hotel Levante (a pagamento per chi ha la camera in b/b); una sera è stata organizzata una cena tipica a cui abbiamo partrcipato mangiando benissimo.

Vacanza di Ferragosto

Il tempo è trascorso troppo in fretta, ma al Sierra Silvana siamo stati veramente bene. Ottima la struttura formata da tanti piccoli fabbricati, tanto verde e un’organizzazione all’avanguardia. Colazione super, gentilezza del personale e pulizia dei locali il fiore all’occhiello.

Perfekt for familier

Dette var fjerde år på rad vi bodde på Sierra Silvana i sommerferien. Det forteller jo at vi trives veldig godt. Frokosten er god, uteområdet fint og bassenget er stort og forfriskende fordi det tydeligvis soloppvarmes. Rommene har god standard og betjeningen er hyggelig. Det finnes veldig gode restauranter i nærområdet og flotte strender er kun 15-20 minutter unna med bil. Dessuten er det kun 20-30 minutter til hyggelige småbyer som Martina Franca, Cisternino og Alberobello. Selv \"storbyen\" Bari, med sin flotte gamleby, er kun 45 minutter unna på motorveien hvis man for eksempel har lyst til å dra på shopping
