We Absolutely loved our stay here! Everything at the hotel was amazing. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and only wish we had more time to stay for a longer time. We had a villa which was incredibly lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Location was in a quiet peaceful area but also close to the village in Alcobaça with all the cafes and shops. 100% recommend and we will absolutely stay here again when we visit the area.

This hotel would have received higher marks if they had delivered what they offered. I received two separate emails confirming that there were dining options and bar open on Sunday. This was not true só we had to go back out. Not a huge deal if we had known what to expect, but an inconvenience since the hotel is out in the country. When I shared this with reception, no reason or apology were given. Other than that, beautiful setting and nice hotel.

Hotel was beautiful, it took a while to check in as there was only 1 person at reception. There was no restaurant service at the higest of the summer. Spa wasn't working properly. The. But staff was friendly and helpfull. Felt sorry for them, as it perhaps needed more people working.

Very disappointed

The room key machine didn’t work so we did not have a room key our entire stay. While this isn’t their fault we needed to wait for the front counter to let us in each time. There was no price reduction nor accommodation. Their pool/spa doesn’t even have towels nor robes som I’m not sure why we were forced to pay $25pp for the spa. Not worth it.

Worst hotel ever

This hotel is very misleading. It says 4 stars but the only reason must be because of the location and the view.
Service was horrible I stay in hotels about 10 to 15 days a month. And in this area where we own a factory we always stay at the same hotel. But this time decided to try this hotel. Worst decision ever.
Horrible service horrible food.

Book the Crib in advance

We arrived just before dinner (19:30) and the hotel seemed understaffed. I had to insist that I needed a crib in the room and the only person on premises kept saying that the maintnance staff was already gone for the day and it would be difficult for her to arrange the crib and that we should have booked the crib earlier... as far as I know I can book a night in this hotel a few minutes before I arrive in hotels.com so I don't understand the requirement.

Pleasantly surprised.

Was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel.
My husband and I love staying there.
We had BBQ dinner at the hotel both nights as well as the couple massage therapy.
The free breakfast was also good. We also liked the spa area and the outdoor pool.
We would highly recommend this place.
Make sure to book your massage treatment in advance.

One for quiet seclusion

We stayed on Weds April 19th for one night. The hotel and grounds are absolutely great and if you're look for a spa break in a secluded spot it's perfect. However for us when we were there it was just TOO quiet !!! And it's really difficult to review because we didn't see it to its potential. We think there were only possibly 4 or 5 rooms occupied when we were there. We'd arrived after a long day and didn't want to go out to look for food or drink (in fact the nearest town is about a 2 mile drive away) - so we had already decided to eat in. However because the hotel had few guests the restaurant was not open. Bar snacks were available - an unusual mix ranging from a couple of main meals (Steak Portugese Style) to meat and cheese platter to toast and jam. We were the only ones in the bar (which closed at 10pm) and the lady on the bar was lovely but seemed to be multi-tasking. Breakfast was similar in that it was 'nearly there' but not quite - and again we felt because there were so few guests when we stayed that the hotel couldn't provide the full service they yearn for. If the hotel reads this then please don't take any of this as a criticism - as mentioned the rooms, pools, public areas are perfect - it's just with so few guests (and staff) that night it's so difficult for us to review more positively. We really hope that our stay was the exception - it's a lovely place with bags of potential - that night it was just waiting for more guests to make the place come alive.

Très belle surprise, un hôtel agréable et conviviale. De très belles prestations et très bien insonorisés. Deux belles piscines (intérieure et extérieure). Je recommande. Un personnel serviable.

Mini bémol il est légèrement à l'écart des commerces et du centre ville d'Alcobaça. (5 minutes en voiture)

Dans cet hotel il est apparemment normal et superflu de ne pas saluer les clients quand ils entrent ou qu' ils sortent par la reception que ce soit la direction de l'hotel ou les receptionnistes . la concentration est maximale sur l' ecran d' ordinateur ou sur les appels tel privés .
Dans cet hotel il est normal et superflu de ne pas nettoyer les chaises longues à la piscine .
Dans cet hotel, il est normal et superflu d'avoir un systeme de climatisation en etat de fonctionnement qui a pour conséquence de rendre la chambre inoccupable tous les jours de 13h à 21h30 à moins de s' en servir comme sauna . Malgré nos reclamations aucune solution n'a été trouvée. il semblerait que répondre aux besoins des clients soit la aussi superflu .
Dans cet hotel il est normal et superflu de verifier l' etat et la propreté des couvre-lits [ nombreuses traces de sangs ]
Dans cet hotel les 4 etoiles ne sont qu'un leurre . trois etoiles tout au plus .
Dans cet hotel et pour 4 nuitées tout le reste était ok et conforme au standing attendu.

Os serviços incluídos na estadia têm que melhorar

Serviço de pequeno almoço muito mau fruta sem frescura, sumos artificiais, café “a fingir “ de máquina e de péssima qualidade, Fiambre de péssima qualidade e oxidado. O empregado alertado e não mostrou o mínimo interesse. Piscina com lapsos de tempo sem aquecimento quer ambiente quer a água da piscina.

Villa: Muy completa, lo único que la cocina era un poco pequeña y en vez de tener microondas tenia un hornillo pequeñito. Cama muy cómoda. En el cuarto estaría bien tener una cuantas perchas mas para colgar la ropa, en general te sentías como en casa.
Zona SPA: Piscina interior muy bonita pero un poco pequeña, una de las saunas necesitaría un poco de mantenimiento la bombilla estaba parpadeando todo el rato. Las demás instalaciones del hotel no las utilizamos.
El check in-out fue rápido, el personal del hotel es muy amable.

A première vu hôtel sympa par contre une fois a l' intérieur les sourires sont limite une personne a l accueil a peu près sympa et surtout 5etoiles la personne au bar et resto
Dans les chambres des petites chose se démonte sinon grand espace en junior
PS un groupe de personnes est arrivé pendant notre séjour bonjour le bruit équipe incapable de faire taire le brouaaaa qui nous a presque empêcher de dormir 4 étoiles non limite 3

Très bel hôtel, propre et entretenu.
Les chambres sont lumineuses et grandes. salle de bail agréable avec grande baignoire. La piscine intérieure ouverte jusqu'à 23h est top, parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de travail.

Apesar do Staff ser muito simpático e atencioso, têm claramente falta de Staff.. no pequeno almoço houve tempos de espera porque estava apenas uma pessoa a servir, quando precisamos de alguma coisa da recepção era muito difícil atenderem porque só tinham la uma pessoa.

Assim que entramos no hotel cheira a desinfetado.
Cama muito grande e muitp confortável, quarto um pouco pequeno.
Fomos 2 vezes a piscina exterior e sempre tivemos a piscina praticamente só para nós, alias na piscina connosco o máximo foi mais uma pessoa la dentro. Nunca nos cruzamos com muitas pessoas nas areas comuns.
A massagem de pedras quentes foi optima e muito relaxante.
A internet foi a melhor internet que ja apanhei em hotéis, muito rápida e sem falhas.
No geral, tudo muito bom. O único ponto negativo, o pequeno almoço tem pouca variedade para um hotel de 4 estrelas, mas tudo o que comemos tinha boa qualidade.

Durante a estadia não houve serviço de restaurante. Sendo o hotel fora da zona urbana de Alcobaça foi desagradável sair à noite, com chuva, para procurar um restaurante. A internet sem fios tem um sinal muito fraco.

Excelente lugar para relaxar

O hotel apresenta uma vista sobre o campo verde e montes que despertam uma tranquilidade. O quarto tem uma decoraçao simples e cuidada e uma excelente limpeza. Uma cama enorme e muito comfortavel. O pequeno almoço era completo e saboroso e o bar está numa óptima zona do hotel. A piscina apresenta um espaço muito cuidado com um horario alargado até às 23h.
Foi uma óptima estadia.

Hotel agradável com potencial para se tornar otimo

Hotel com boas instalações, embora a área do SPA seja um pouco restrita ( sauna e banho turco pequenos) , na piscina os jatos de água ñ estavam à funcionar ( percebi que estavam em obras) ; a equipe é muito simpática e disponibilizaram -me o pequeno-almoço às 7 :00 de forma impecável. Os aspectos negativos : check-in muito tarde , às 16:00hs ( pelo menos com as reservas através do Hotéis . com) )_ainda assim conseguiram me disponibilizar o quarto às 15:30hs; o restaurante só está disponível mediante reserva prévia ( no check-in tentei fazê-lo e já ñ foi possível...) ; como o Hotel fica fora do centro de Alcobaça implica em na necessidade de utilizar o automóvel para fazer refeições ( o bar do Hotel disponibiliza apenas refeições ligeiras como sandes e saladas) .

L’hôtel qu'il vous faut prés d'Alcobaça, Tomar ..

Pres de Alcobaça en pleine nature, l' hôtel Real Abadia est un superbe hotel a un prix très compétitif : petite piscine intérieure avec sauna et hammam très agréable. Restauration sur place avec bon rapport qualité prix, avec un peu de chance piano pendant le repas.
