Le personnel est vraiment gentil, aimable et accueillant, j’ai vraiment apprécié l’emplacement, à 20 minutes à pied de la vielle ville et de la plage 🏝️.

Voyage en solo pour moi si un jour je retourne à Rhodes , ce sera à cet endroit c’est sur .

A lovely place to stay where you could be quiet and have space for yourself. The staff were first rate and considerate and were friendly without being intrusive. On arrival I was given advice and a print out of useful information which was very welcome.
The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was lovely. Ideal for a short or longer stay.
In a quiet area but only fifteen minutes walk from the old town and amenities.

Personally I enjoyed this hotel mainly because of the reasonable pricing of the length of my stay.

Since I rented a car it was not very difficult finding a parking spot in the vicinity considering that it is mainly residential. It is also very quiet and safe in my opinion.
Not lots of restaurants around or much to visit if you're planning to have easy access to the main locations in the city centre, although you could walk there within 20-30 minutes max (depending on your age, disabilities, etc).

If you'd like something simple and quiet, I would recommend this place.

Thank you to the staff for their hard work and big salute to Lauro, Klevi and the housekeepers!

Exceptional stay, outstanding customer service and great attention to detail. Beautifully decorated throughout the premises. I loved sitting outside in the garden at night with the garden wall lit up, it was so idyllic. Galaxias is a perfect spot for solo-travellers and groups. Needless to say that I would recommend Galaxias to my friends and family. I would have scored higher if a kettle was provided in the room (as it contained a small kitchenette) and had a plug socket next to the bed.

Oh, where do I even begin with this little gem of a hotel near the old town? Let me just say, it was simply delightful from start to finish! From the moment I stepped foot through the door, I knew I had stumbled upon something special.

First and foremost, cleanliness was evident in every nook and cranny. I have never seen such pristine rooms in my life! The attention to detail was impeccable, and it made me feel instantly at ease knowing that I was staying in such a spotless environment. Kudos to the housekeeping staff for their exceptional work!

Now, let's talk about the staff. Wow, oh wow! They truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine willingness to assist with any request or inquiry made me feel like I was part of a big, happy family. Their knowledge of the local area and their helpful recommendations were invaluable. I truly felt like I had a personal concierge at my disposal! Kudos to Ana and Klevis!

It exceeded my expectations in every way possible. If you're looking for a clean, safe, and cozy place to stay near the old town, with a staff that will make you feel like family, then look no further. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Hotel Galxies was nothing like we expected from the photos. They make the lobby nice with bright lights marble but once you go up to the rooms that completely changes. The room we stayed in was claustrophobic and dark. Bathroom was super small and had a very unpleasant smell. The room as a whole was very small we didn’t even have room to open our suitcase without it being in the way. Although the hotel was in walking distance to the Hippocrates Square it was a very unsafe and unpleasant area to be walking through. We were constantly looking over our shoulder. Overall we didn’t enjoy our stay whatsoever and would not recommend

Such a nice hotel. Nice and spacious and nice to have the option to have breakfast in your room so you could eat it on the balcony. Only downfall is the shower, it wasn’t attached to the wall so the floor did get very wet !

Mosquitos in bathroom so many bites had to see a gp in UK . No complimentary water on first day, just glasses saying complimentary. Asked to use my son's room to get changed after I checked out, he was out for the day on a boat trip but was told to pay 5 euros.

This hotel is central to the \"real\" city so the area is busy in winter and summer. It was a good choice in the off season. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are just fine although you may find the bathrooms a bit tight.

Small but excellent hotel with exemplary staff that are courteous, knowledgeable and only too ready to help. The location is about 20 minutes walk from the Old Town if you are reasonably fit and about the same to the Ancient Stadium and Acropolis.
My spotless room was cleaned daily and sheets and towels changed. As others have noted, the bathroom was very small and the unenclosed shower (just a curtain) took some getting used to and proved a bit of a challenge to use, particularly for a six foot two guy! This was about the only negative for me, and bearing in mind the very reasonable room rates, I would certainly recommend a stay here.

A top city hotel in a great destination- try it!

A Great experience in an exceptional hotel - with clean & efficient rooms, decorated in harmonious neutrals. The general environment is peaceful & pleasant. The staff are really fabulous ; all are friendly, helpful and welcoming - from reception to housekeeper to managers. Overall, an excellent city hotel - with the added perks of a large meeting room and individual, private business centres.The wifi is fast and reliable. Location is in a convenient part of Rhodes town, with coffee shops ; cafes ; restaurants; supermarkets, banks and local buses on the doorstep! Also exceptional value re rates & highly recommended. This truly is a wonderful discovery on my Summer- into- Autumn 2018 travels so far.

This is an excellent hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Towels were peplaced with fresh clean towels every day. The owners, and all staff were first class throughout my stay. Very helpful when it came to providing information about places to visit. I would deffinately stay at this hotel again if i am back in Rhodes.

Upsides-A good hotel to stay at, staff very friendly and helpful with directions to most attractions. Not a far walk from old town, only about 10-15mins and directions easy to follow on the map you're given at check in. New town about 30mins walk with the Acropolis about 20mins in the opposite direction. The beach is close, literally a straight walk down the road till you reach it. The staff give you a sheet with recommendations on check in which was very helpful.

Downsides- the room wasn't cleaned properly every day. The floor wasn't swept or mopped so if you went to the beach the sand was still everywhere the next day. Towels changed everyday even if you had them hung up not wanting to be changed. Bedding only changed if you stripped the bed yourself for it to be done. Very noisy with other guests walking up and down hallways and talking/shouting. But can't be helped very much. Had instructions to change the TV to English but all the channels stayed in Greek.

Great little hotel. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful even told us about his favourite little restaurant in the old town which was beautiful and amazing food . The hotel is about 15minuits walk outside the old town walls but if you don’t like to walk you can get a taxi to the old town and port for about 7 Euros . Will definitely be going back again in the near future .

Hotel Galaxias was great. The service was amazing. They couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel is centrally located being about a 15 minute walk from the old town or 5- 8 euros for a taxi to just about anywhere. The rooms are basic, but very clean, ours had a lovely balcony. There is very pretty, comfortable lounge and good restaurants across the street. Coffee shops abound.

This is a nice clean comfortable hotel only about 10-15 mins walk from the nearest point of the old town at agios athanasios gate. Katia and Marina on reception always helpful and welcoming. My room was perfect facing on to the rear garden. Flat screen satellite TV , air con and safe box all included in the price; also a fridge in room to keep drinks cool and the wi-fi signal is good too. Free tea and coffee in the lobby all day.

Away from the bustle...

On arrival 22.00 Katia was welcoming and provided information about local restaurants , transport and places to visit. She also recommended a local restaurant that was still open and they too welcomed us, helping with an unfamiliar menu. The restaurants listed close by are all worth a try for typical Greek food. During our stay Katia and Marina cheerfully helped us with queries about tourist sights and timetables etc.
The hotel is well maintained and the linen (towels and sheets ) is changed daily which made us feel well looked after.
The old town is about 10 mins walk or there are buses with stops close to the hotel. There is a cafe opposite and a supermarket a few hundred metres down the road.
An excellent place to stay if you prefer to be away from the crowds in town.

Lovely hotel, hideous noise pollution

Hotel staff were utterly wonderful but if you want to rest at night this hotel is not the place to be. Road noise is just terrible plus broken pavements and dogs poo everywhere is not what you pay so much money for.

The Greek people are lovely, Rhodes is ruined by humans particularly the 5million that visit annually.

Our hosts greeted us with an email that provided details about various transport options to the hotel from the airport (according to budget) and requesting our arrival time. Our rooms were ready on arrival. The staff spoke English and Greek very well and greeted every one of our requests for service or information with enthusiasm and helpfulness. Rooms were clean and all staff lovely. They organised a hire car for us with minimal fuss and excellent rates. The old town is a 10-15 minute walk. A great budget hotel that we recommend to others.

This is an excellent hotel. All the staff i had contact with throughout my 7 nights stay were great. Everyone was polite, helpful and could not do enough to make my stay here a good one. I was given a very useful information pack on arrival. This has sugestions of places to visit and how to get to them. It gives details of local buses and bus stops. My room was always kept very clean. Even my private balcony was cleaned every day. The towels in my bathroom were replaced with clean fresh towels every day. The room has good wardrobe space. The air conditioning in my room worked really well and was a real blessing. Plus, the fridge in my room was really useful for keeping bottles of water cool.

Very quiet had a good night sleep

Arrived at the hotel very late was a bit disappointed that there was no facilities to have a coffee. Or cold drink in the room. That aside it was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice beach 20mins walk and my husband loved that we passed a orthentic fish restaurant, and after a few hours on the beach, we went and had a great greak lunch of fish soup, and greak salad. In all a good holiday and would recommend the galaxies hotel, check it out guys.

The hotel was very helpful. Used a taxi to get there from the airport, but it only cost $5. She recommended a very inexpensive restaurant a short distance away that was filled with locals. We had a great evening with them. Hotel a short walk or $5 ride to the old town. They had a line so we could wash our clothing which dried in 5 hours. Great place...

Very nice hotel near the centre of Rhodes city

We stayed with my boyfriend for 3 days. Very clean and nice hotel, close to the old and new town of Rhodes. A lot of coffeeshops, bakeries and shops around the area. Easy to find parking around the area althought the hotel does not have a parking space. Very friendly staff, they gave us a lot of helpful information/tips of places to visit anf bars/restaurants. Very pleasant stay in general.

Very nice hotel

We booked this hotel for a few days in July and were very happy with our choice. It's very clean and comfortable. We liked the garden at the back, had coffee there in the mornings. The location is perfect, only 10 minutes car drive from old town and harbour and close to the highway which we took to explore other parts of the island. It's opposite a petrol station which was handy as we rented a car, there was parking space nearby and supermarkets, banks. If you don't like the idea of staying in a mega hotel by the beach, this is the hotel for you. The price was also very good.

Best Customer Service I've Ever Had

Hotel Galaxias is a charming, small hotel about 15 minutes walk from Rhodes Old Town. I got the impression it is a repurposed apartment block, giving it a nice \"community\" feel, which is reinforced by the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever had the experience of meeting. I travel with work a lot and regularly stay at higher star hotels (Hilton, Sheraton, etc.), but I can honestly say Katia and her colleagues are the most friendly and down to earth hoteliers. They come across as sincerely wanting you to have a good time in Rhodes, offering local knowledge and advice at any time of the day, in exceptional English too! The room was a perfect size for two people, and the balcony is a nice touch, just be warned that our view wasn't that great. A 20 second walk from the hotel is an ATM which can be used in English and 100% confirmed works with UK debit cards to withdraw money. I'd say pretty much the entire Rhodes town is within walking distance, but buses are frequent, nearby, & cheap, and taxis are 6 euros tops for anywhere in the town. All in all highly recommended for a city break!

Few minutes walking to the old city, ruins of the old acropolis and scenic cliffs in easy walking range, restaurents and supermarket around the corner.
The Room was fairly large, perfectly clean and the bed compfortable. Very nice was having a kitchen-sized fridge: with the supermarket nearby all the cold drinks, fresh fruit,... needed to feel at home.

The location was near to Old Town, but can be far from other tourist attractions, but if you rent a car, you can visit them. We took taxi to the Old Town and other beaches.

Perfekt för att utforska Rhodos stad

Hotellet ligger bra till för att utforska Rhodos stad, 10 minuters promenad till gamla stan, 20-25 till Pantheon. Personalen på hotellet enastående vänliga och hjälpsamma, väldigt bra information vid ankomsten och bra informationsmaterial med bl.a. tips på flera bra restauranger i grannskapet. Rummen bra, sköna sängar, wifi och luftkonditionering. Trots att vårt rum låg ut mot en huvudgata så var det väldigt tyst på rummet. Annorlunda sätt med frukosten - man fick beställa vad man ville ha och ungefär när så fick man det serverat dagen därpå i den lilla trädgården eller i baren/på rummet. Efter att ha testat annat boende på Rhodos har vi förstått hur bra det var - och väldigt prisvärt!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una settimana nella junion suite al quarto piano. Ci siano trovati benissimo, la camera è dotata anche di cucinino e piccolo soggiorno. Unica piccola pecca la tenda della doccia. L'hotel è in posizione strategica a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalle mura della città, di fronte ad un benzinaio, in una via piena di bar, ATM e parcheggio comodo. Il personale è gentilissimo e la pulizia eccellente! Consiglio a chi soggiorna al Galaxias hotel di affittare per i primi giorni il motorino per vedere i posti piu vicini e l'auto per i restanti giorni in modo tale da riuscire a visitare tutta l'isola.

Das Zimmer das wir erhalten haben wurde von uns angeblich gebucht es heisst Economy-Zimmer dieses würde ich auf keinem Fall empfehlen. Es handelt sich um einen Abstellraum ohne richtige Nummer, ohne Fenster das beim Lift zu steht. Für das was es gekostet hat sollte das nicht so sein. Wir wollten keine Nacht dort übernachten, haben daraufhin ein anderes Zimmer auch sofort bekommen das auch wie auf Bilder gezeigt aussah hat jedoch 5 Euro pro Nacht mehr gekostet.

Che dire...ci siamo trovati benissimo anzi siamo arrivati che il mio compagno aveva la febbre e ci hanno dato la stanza 3 ore prima,le pulizie giornaliere Veramente contenta di aver scelto questo albergo...Lo consiglio davvero

Хороший отель по хорошей цене

Номер комфортный, чистый. Ежедневная смена белья и полотенец. Звукоизоляция номеров хорошая. Фото соответствуют действительности. Завтраки сытные и вкусные. Персонал очень доброжелательный.
Минусы: только в маленькой душевой кабине и расположен отель не очень близко к старому городу, но если арендовать машину, то это не проблема, но проблема может возникнуть с парковкой)))
Отель хороший. Рекомендую. Всем хорошего отдыха!

Badezimmer sehr klein aber sauber. Zimmerreinigung täglich. Bequeme Betten.
Öffentliche Parkplätze vorhanden.
Fußmarsch zur Altstadt und Neustadt ca. 15-20 Minuten. Supermarkt, Cafes und eine Tankstelle in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Da das Hotel an der Hauptstraße gelegen ist, ist es nachts sehr laut in den Zimmern.
24 h Rezeption, sehr nettes Personal.

Absolutnie nr1 w tej cenie

Najlepsza obsługa w tej klasie hotelu jaką spotkałem dotychczas! Czystość perfekcyjna, każdego dnia pokój był czysty, a rzeczy i ręczniki poskładane i/lub wymienione na świeże! Lokalizacja przyzwoita, lecz trzeba spacerować, by dostać się na plażę, czy do centrum.

j'ai passé 11 nuits à l'hotel Galaxias et j'ai été très satisfait de mon séjour.L'hotel est calme,très propre(la chambre est nettoyée quotidiennement),situé à proximité de la vieille ville de Rhodes(10, 15 minutes à pied et un arret de bus très proche).Enfin l'accueil est exceptionnel,le personnel étant prêt à vous rendre service à tout moment(meme à 4 heures du matin,heure à laquelle j'ai pris un taxi pour l'aeroport).A vivement recommander,pour un prix très abordable.

Piccola stanza, grandi cuori

L'hotel è sulla strada ma si trova sempre parcheggio. Ha un'entrata piccolina con le receptionist estremamente cordiali,disponibili e informate (se non sanno qualcosa si procurano l'informazione per te). Il direttore ci ha accolti prima dell'orario di check-in mostrandoci e consigliandoci i luoghi meritevoli, ci ha fatti cambiare e lasciare le valigie in stand-by mentre facevamo i primi giri dell'isola nell'attesa che la stanza si liberasse.
La camera era piccolina, con un altrettanto piccolo bagno (senza bidet ovviamente), il climatizzatore, un cucinino con un frigo e la terrazzina. Confortevole nel suo insieme. Qualche leggera pecca sulla pulizia (abbiamo trovato sempre dei capelli in giro).
Il soggiorno e le relazioni col personale sono stati strepitosi, non hanno mai sbagliato un consiglio su un luogo e soprattutto sul cibo!
Per i meno internazionali c'è anche una signora che parla benissimo l'italiano.
