Beautiful hotel. Bedrooms are slightly dated now, but kept clean and tidy. A very nice relaxed vibe. Very friendly staff around the resort and hotel. Food and drinks are great quality. Branded spirits and hand made cocktails. Amazing service.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming, great food, everything inclusive even a la carte restaurants, the room was big, real all amenities you could need, a lot of activities for children including movies every evening.
The rooms were big and classy, real had a greek vibe, they were all with big terraces. The beach area is not big but there is plenty of green space in front of the sea, really beautiful.
We‘ve been on other islands but this we enjoyed the most, the area of Palokastritsa monastery and the beach there were the most amazing places.

Finding a resort that caters to 11-year-old boys—too old for playgrounds, too young to be left alone—is tough. Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay nailed it. Our twins were at the perfect age to enjoy everything here.

What worked for our family:

The Right Kind of Kids Club:

Independence & Safety: The resort layout allowed us to give the boys a little freedom—like walking to the ice cream stand together or choosing a pool lounger—while we were still comfortably nearby.

Food for All: The incredible variety at the buffet meant no arguments at mealtimes. The all-day snacks and premium ice cream were a significant bonus.

Family Fun & Adult Time: We spent quality time together swimming and snorkeling, but the kids' club also gave my wife and me guilt-free time to enjoy the spa and quiet pools.

This isn't a chaotic, kiddie-centric resort; it's a sophisticated place that understands families. Our boys are already asking when we can go back. A resounding 5 stars from the whole family

We were a family group of 6 visiting in September. We give this 5 stars. The food options were varied (but be warned you have to book in advance) and very good. Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had sea views in the hotel and a top tip would be to ask for them, we felt they were better than the bungalows. Overall Highly recommended.

One of the best all inclusive I’ve been to for drinks. You could order pretty much anything and they would accommodate. Food was brilliant as well but is difficult to book in because the demand is high so try and book in advance.

We stayed in a family bungalow and the kids loved it. Very spacious and our bed was huge.

The only downside to the whole
Hotel was the pool area was very small for the size of the hotel and the standard people coming at early hrs in the morning to reserve beds.

Overall we had a great time.

quiet location with easy access to the beach down a steep slope, which you can either walk down or via buggy which the hotel runs for free. The food is classic Greek - high quality and varied with lots of choice, range of drinks on the all inclusive menu. There is a creche for children on the beach catering to the needs of parents, access to a range of watr sports. overall a great location, friendly hotel and enough shady areas on the beach with more than enough sun beds

We really enjoyed our stay at Daphnila Bay. The family room was spacious so felt like we had plenty of room for the four of us and it was great to have the patio to dry out swim stuff. An honest review below, but the pros of the hotel for us far outweighed these fairly minor issues.

The beds were comfy and the mini fridge / tea / coffee / water was great to have included and topped up in the room.

We had some issues with the bathroom in our first room, and maintenance deciding to come and speak to us at 10pm about a leak (we had just come back from dinner so maybe they were waiting for us, but I’m not sure why as all day they had said they would get it sorted!). We ended up moving rooms which resolved this.

The hotel needs to invest in some do not disturb signs - we were woken by housekeeping on 3 mornings, so that wasn’t great either. And the housekeeping itself was quite limited (beds made and bins empty but not much else, including dirty cups left in the room for 3 days despite raising this). The housekeeping was also improved once we moved rooms so I guess it depends which member of staff you get.

We also had some little friendly ants (to be expected in a country and location like this) which we reported and the issue was resolved.

For a family with two young kids I really rate this hotel very highlttg

Terrible Experience

Unfortunately, on the evening of the day we arrived at the hotel, a cat at the hotel scratched our little daughter's face, leaving marks. Thankfully, although it was very close to her eye, there was no damage to the eye itself. We immediately reported the situation to the hotel, and although a few hours had passed, they tried to be very helpful and arranged for a doctor to come to our room to perform some checks. The doctor said the prescription would be sent to us via email, but despite reminding the hotel several times, we still haven’t received the prescription, and it’s been nearly a week since we checked out. We had to spend 4–5 hours at a nearby hospital until the doctors completed their examinations and discharged us. Unfortunately, the lack of a rabies vaccine on the island and the fact that the antibiotic prescribed at the state hospital was not available at the on-duty pharmacy caused us a great deal of concern. After spending just the first night of our holiday, we had to leave the hotel

We had a very poor experience with Hotel Divani Corfu (Review on their property) and ended up leaving that hotel and coming here and I tell you it was a difference of night and day. Right from the begining till the checkout the staff were amazing and the property itself is absolutely beatiful with updated big room and ameneties. I wish I could have stayed here from the get go and not dealt with all the nonsense from Divani in Corfu. Highly recommend if you are visting Corfu.

We had 4 of the a la cartes (book before you go on the app), they were fantastic. Entertainment from the singers and jazz band was lovely. Excellent wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again. this is a lovely Hotel with amazing views great food there are four à la carte restaurants which are very good and the service is excellent
The only downside is there is a big hill to walk up if your room is after 650 so be prepared for a steep walk so if you do want to avoid that make sure you book a room close to the reception
Also I think there could be a little bit more entertainment in the evenings but the cocktails were amazing
I wasn't that impressed with the beach but there was some water sports available

The beachfront location is undoubtedly a highlight — but don’t be misled. It’s a narrow, small bay, not a wide, sandy stretch. If your child prefers expansive beaches, this isn’t the place. Reaching the broader beaches on the west side of the island takes 20–30 minutes by car.

The food is solid, and the staff generally perform well. One notable plus: the hotel works directly with a group of taxi drivers, making arrangements smooth and reliable. Our driver even went the extra mile — literally — by picking up our lost luggage from the airport a day after check-in and negotiating an exception so we didn’t have to go ourselves. That alone saved us a major hassle.

The rooms are very basic, but functional. The children’s pool is small and somewhat dreary, yet usable. The spa service, on the other hand, falls short — even of basic expectations.

Rooms need renovation and more sunlight..
buffet was ok but could taste better. Couldn't reserve any other restaurants in the hotel since it showed always full in the app. Don't forget mosquito repellants in the evening..

The beach, gardens and the layout of the resort are really beautiful. Cristal clear sea water. A lot of natural shade under trees on the beach. The only thing- nature wise- if you come in May like we did- the sunset is on the other side of the island (this is east side) so there is no sun on the beach from around 5-6. I imagine this to be a good thing when it's really hot in Jun, July and August but in May it does shorten your stay at the beach. Lush greenery all around resort. Animation is on the balanced side- that is a good thing for me- the quiter the better. All in all - a really good place for families.

Potential but

Lots of potential but will not return unless some of the key basics are fixed and the ability to use the other resorts stay in place.

There is a very dangerous rocky path in order to get to the other hotels which have the much better facilities. Last year there was free shuttles between at nighttime but not this year and even if you have a dine around reservation booked you are expected to pay a 30 euro round trip taxi ride to get to it or brave the dangerous walk in the pitch darkness with steep drops either side. There was also a speedboat transfer between the resorts which is the reason I booked but was informed this didn’t start until the 15th which again was very disappointing as the hotel was open and weather was perfect.

We were in an upgraded hideaway room but there was no mirror in the main bedroom area only the bathroom which made it very hard getting ready. In general the rooms and areas of the resort are tired and needs renovation.

There was also a lot of miscommunication from the staff on what was available, arrangements etc which meant we wasted a lot of time waiting for facilities which aren’t running etc. Little things which take the shine off the experience.

The beach isn’t the best and it could really do with an additional pool as the only one is very cramped - We used the Imperial pool and beach everyday as this was stunning.

The grounds and view were beautiful and the a la carte restaurants generally very good. Danilia Village a great touch.

The hotel’s location is absolutely stunning. Breath taking views and the hotel is well designed to show off the surroundings from multiple angles and heights!
The staff are excellent - all of them were very friendly and helpful, and we felt at home as soon as we were welcomed in the front door on our arrival.
The range of food and drink options is brilliant. Note that you have to reserve dinners at the restaurants via the app, which is definitely worth doing because they are excellent.
The only negative is that during our stay, there was some bad smell around the path between the hotel and beach, poor plumbing or something similar. But this did not directly affect our stay in the hotel.

I would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing week at this hotel, perfect for young families with kids. The food was delicious and our favourite part was the crepe and ice cream bar right next to the beach. One thing you won’t be is hungry or skinny!

Our only complaint was that our rooms felt a bit damp and they were initially quite cold which I think would be appreciated in the height of summer.

Improvements would be small, like shelves in the cuboards and plug points next to the beds for charging etc. A floor length mirror would also be appreciated-all minor gripes which did not detract from our holidays.

Our stay was overall really good and probably it would deserve closer to 4.5 stars

Pros:
- Very nice hotel, with great views. Our bungalow room (Paradiso limited sea view) was charming, spacious and the sea view was great. The balcony was a bit small however.
- The food was good for buffet standards and there was good variety, particularly at dinner time. The kids also loved the gelaterie by the beach.
- Most of the staff were friendly.
- The private beach is pretty enough and clean plus the water is shallow and feels safe for young kids. There's not much sand to play though.
- The ability to go to the Imperial and the Ava Palace on a boat and use their pool.

Cons:
- The wasps. There are A LOT of them and at times it made it really uncomfortable. On two occasions we had 5 wasps hovering over our dishes while having dinner. Once three wasps spent 10 minutes walking on my plate and ended up drowning in the sauce.
- The swimming pool is quite small given the number of guests and there are nowhere nearly enough loungers so getting them is very difficult. They also ran out of towels twice.
- The bar in the swimming pool area would benefit from some shaded areas.
- While cleanliness was overall good, they never moped the floor of our room (the cleaner didn't even have a mop) plus we got a couple of dirty bath towels twice during our stay.
- The a la carte (except Gattopardo) were a bit disappointing.
- The hotel is quite secluded making walking to other places challenging.

This is our fourth stay at a Grecotel. Love their all inclusive package; staff at reception were exceptional and great service generally except in one speciality restaurant. Wifi in room hit and miss. We had problems with digital lock to our room which took days to sort; several times keys renewed, battery in lock changed etc etc. Overall a great stay.

We were there for 5 nights and as soon as we arrived we asked to book at their restaurants surprisingly they said all restaurants r fully booked except the buffet one mentioning that on their website they ask to prébook and I told them this is not mentioned on Expedia where I did my booking which made me ask for the hotel manager and discuss !!

I don't have enough words to describe the excellent, friendly, and attentive staff from the reservations call, reception, restaurants' staff and the staff that helped with our luggage! They were all with a smile on their face and work tirelessly in the heat of the Greek summer to provide us with impeccable service. Despite the premises needing a bit of a revamp, I would just return for the excellent service of the staff. That being said, the premises and room were very clean, and the food was delicious with a lot of choices.
The hotel sits on a hill but there are golf carts that offer you (fun) rides down to the beach of the hotel. You may need to rent a car if you need to explore the island or inquire for public transportation. Awesome stay!

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The cushions on the chairs outside could have been cleaner. Older persons should be made aware that they will have to rely on the buggy to bring them back from the beach as it is steep hill and difficult for older people to climb. Overall my experience was very positive, staff was amazing, I would recommend this resort. But like everything in the world today, resort looks better online, resort was no means bad or anything like that. But the photos online gives it a spark that you don't get in person. Besides the buffets, the resort does have 3 or 4 nice restaurants, but soon as you book please call to make reservations. I only ate at the buffets my 4 days there because restaurants were booked and has no availability.

The hotel is pretty decent, but has a few flaws which I think guests or potential guests should be aware of. The rooms are not to the same par as the rest of the hotel. I deliberately paid more for a bungalow and the decor and facilities were not up to the 4 star standard. I would say more like a 3. The buffet meals are okay. Some days are better than others. The snacks at the main bar are fresh and lovely, as are the patisserie, crepes and ice cream. Lots of choice and open most the day. Things that let it down are that I wasn’t made aware that I had to book the la carte restaurants before my stay. I only managed to book 1 when I was there for the Asia menu. The food and service was amazing. They should just let guests know early on to book this in advance. The hotel is on a cliff basically and if it’s not a super warm week you will get cold. The rooms have no heating which you wouldn’t think you need but I did!
The service from staff was usually good but at night I had my drink forgotten about several times and I was waiting 20-30 minutes for one. The drinks list is massive. You get a lot included and the drinks themselves are amazing.
For some reason they didn’t take my taxes until I checked out so make sure you keep this money spare.
Outside of the hotel is severely run down and does not match the quality out into these hotels. I thought we were in the wrong place and it felt like a horror movie until. There isn’t much to do outside of the hotel.

Food excellent huge choice at buffet. Great to book different restaurants for more choice. Did this before arriving through portal.

Il giardino Di olivio amazing lunch buffet at beach changes to Asian buffet at night. Food could have been warmer but still lovely

La contessa at Eva Palace. Disappointing soup cold and not treated as well when we stayed at Eva palace earlier in the year.
Huge choice of drinks all included in our package.
Our room needs refurb but very roomy lots storage and kept clean. We were offered upgrade to renovated bungalow but opted to stay in our room due to view and convenience
Courtesy bus to beach great too but not too far to walk bit of a hill on way back
Lots of sunbeds at roomy beach. Free pedalos canoes etc. Sea warm and safe
Not too keen on fairly loud repetitive music at breakfast starts at 7.30. Our room above restaurant!
Hotel was getting busy with lots of families prob school hols. So need to be aware if you looking for peace.
Overall amazing value wonderful holiday.

Nice hotel with a private beach. The food was very nice, though we weren't able to book into any of the additional restaurants on site as they were all fully booked.

Gym was small but had all the equipment you would need. The beach had free paddle boards and pedalos and other watersport activities.

Never again: not even worth a photo.

Horrible all inclusive wine. Noisy A.C. in need of service (room 715). We were not offered room only at euro 150 and had to pay 300 - 350 which included dubious benefits. We were dropped at this place by an out-of-town taxi driver.
