The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. We were updated to a beach front suite overlooking the ocean. Stunning view and beautiful suite. The only thing that people should be aware of is that there are a lot of stairs on the property. If you are not fit it might be difficult maneuvering the property.

The staff were lovely and attentive, the pool was great and the view across the bay with the mountains of Albania as the backdrop was very beautiful. There was also a beach and multiples bars

The only small gripes I had were that many of the amenities were hard to locate and there wasn't much signposting. Also, some of the meals that weren't included in the package were quite expensive, and there were a couple of restaurants in the area that did delicious food for a more reasonable price.

However, I very much enjoyed my stay and would come back again.

The hotel did nothing to alleviate this issue. Whilst we enjoyed our time there, this issue alone would prevent us from returning. A shame.

Definitely not a 5-star experience. Hotel is quite run down, bathroom had mould and had some terrible patch up jobs. Bedroom smelt damp. While the staff there were all nice and pleasant, none of them seemed to be well trained or able to deal with any issues effectively, the restaurant service was chaotic and slow.

This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to (and I am a frequent traveller). The nature is outstanding and they really take care of the outdoor surroundings.

The hotel itself is not a 5* one, I would say a 4* (the main building needs a bit refreshed to get a 5* status), and the staff needs a bit more training for that to be credited 5*.

While we had an amazing experience and a wonderful welcome that we very much appreciated (a birthday cake and champagne upon arrival), there were tiny aspects that made me see why itțs not at 5* yet. Some of the staff in the breakfast/dining area were kind of rude (because at the start of breakfast there were not enough staff and those present were running around quite stressed). On our last day we had to leave early to the airport and we did not know that we had to book an early breakfast so we were there at 07:20 (the breakfast starts at 07:30 - very late for such a resort with so many people!) and even though most of the food was displayed and we told them that we did not know about the booking of an early breakfast we were shouted at that we should not touch the food. This kind of attitude is incompatible with any hotel rated 4* and above..

I would say book the hotel for its nature, for the beach, for the absolutely fantastic surroundings, but do not expect it to be a perfect 5* hotel.

The hotel is amazing, beautifully decorated. Only issue was it was far from all the restaurants and the happening places... The taxi was expensive to the old town. They had a free shuttle service which we took once but the return time was after 4hrs, so took a taxi back to the hotel. Which will cost you minimum 35Euro.
You better book half board or full board

We weren't given the room we had booked due to overbooking and unfortunately the room we were given was on the 2nd floor underneath the hotel bar/reception so we were kept awake at night and woken early the next morning. Breakfast was great and the room otherwise clean and spacious. Just not worth the money.

The hotel is nice but we were not allocated together as a family. Many stairs were between the rooms which was very inconvenient with our little babies. It should be mentioned in the website of the hotel that there are many stairs to get to the pool and beach (not convenient way for parents with strollers)
I had to add 60 Euro per night per room to be near to the other 2 rooms in the main building.

On arrival, the building is impressive and it looks and feels like a luxury hotel. Check-in process seems unnecessarily long and drawn out. At the end of a day of travel, we were just keen to relax in our air-conditioned rooms. We received a complimentary dinner on arrival, which was a lovely touch and much-appreciated, but did further delay arriving at our rooms. The lady helping us with the check-in process was exceptional.
We had booked a deluxe and junior suite. The rooms were connected by a dedicated door to our apartments and were spacious and comfortable with great views, especially at sunset.
We were advised to arrive early for breakfast each morning because at peak times there is a queue and a wait. This isn't ideal when coming on holiday and wanting to wake up and dine in a leisurely manner and most mornings we did have to queue. There is, however, refreshment available while you wait (juice and sparkling wine) and the staff do a good job of quickly rearranging tables to minimise the wait. The staff at breakfast were all great, with some standout employees. The property is not ideal from an accessibility perspective as there are steep and numerous steps to the pool and to the beach. There is a problem with sun loungers by the pool being reserved and not being used. The hotel is in a remote location but this is addressed by the bus service to the town centre. There are plenty of outstanding, reasonably-priced restaurants ranging from a three to a 20-minute walk

We were greeted with a nice upgrade, unfortunately when the hotel staff walked us to our room they noticed a leak (water in the room). Okay issues happen, I get that, the problem is it took them over 5 hours to get us another room so we lost one evening. It was give us some time, over and over again. We will NOT be back ever, if it was not late into the evening we would have just left.

Property is just a little outdated-and not necessarily what I’d consider a luxury resort. We had ants in our room and the pool area was a bit mildew-y. The staff were nice and helpful except for the Hertz rental car lady they had inside the hotel. Maybe would rent car from outside entity next time. Overall we had a good stay we just were underwhelmed.

This is a beautiful property! Check in was frustrating for us. After checking in to our sea view bungalow we discovered there was a bug infestation on the back of the curtain ti the balcony! Millions of ants and flying bugs were on the back of the curtain. We immediately went back up to the front desk. The lady apologized & asked us to sit down and wait. About 15 minutes later they walked us to another room on the other side. We walked in and sat down and the staff member left. The entire room smelled like cigarettes and like someone had just smoked in it. Being that we are non smokers we didn’t want to stay in a smoking room (signified so when making reservations) we didn’t want to be a bother but it was overwhelming. We went back to the desk (now a good 45 min after our arrival) and explained to the lady that had checked us in that we didn’t want to be a bother but that the first room was full of bugs, and the 2nd room had an overwhelming cigarette smell. She didn’t seem too concerned and just asked us to sit down again. At this point I asked ti speak to the manager. She ended up telling us we may go sit in the bar until she could have him come up. The manager came up about 20 min later and told us we could order drinks and appetizers and he would get us another room personally. By the time we finally got another room it was an hour and a half later from when we arrived (9:30 pm). In the end we got an equal room but it was extremely frustrating after traveling all day.

Special welcome and fabulous view!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and so special. The staff are so friendly, and worked their socks off, especially the ladies and gents in the bars and restaurants. There is a great selection of dishes in the main restaurant, and we also treated ourselves to a fabulous a la carte option for our anniversary - what a fabulous meal we had in 'Steak and Sushi'.
And the main star of the show, has to be the setting! The view is amazing, and the beach and pool are beautiful. We were so tired after our journey, that we did n't leave the resort for the first 3 days, as it was just so lovely. There are lots of steps down to the pool and beach area, so maybe not best if you have mobility issues, but then you could always stay nextdoor in their sister hotel, which is a short walk away, with what appear to be far fewer steps.
All in all, great hotel, great location, great service, and within easy reach of Corfu Town. I do hope we get the chance to visit again. ❤

My pet peeve in hotels is when one says it is 5 Star but has no clue what 5 star is. There are so many other options on Corfu Island I really wish I would have chosen another! The property is pretty worn and you immediately get a \"cruise ship customer\" vibe from it. From the moment you walk in the reception process is odd - its a \"please go sit in the bar while we complete your check in\"? 30 minutes later 2 very confused ladies seemed to finally get us semi checked in but insisted that I download the hotels app to complete registration and used for ANY AND ALL REQUESTS? ARUGH... There is little to no staff to assist, no concierge, no one at reception only a \"travel desk\" that will help you book an offsite tour for 3 times the amount it is online... Our room smelled like sewer and no one bothered to look at it until the next day leaving us to plug our noses all night and race out of the room in the AM. They don't accommodate hotel guests with restaurant reservations in the hotel so if you didn't book weeks in advance your stuck with the gross buffet downstairs where you will pay a whopping 50 euro each for the worst food of your trip. Overall, I found the place tacky and catering to people who have never stepped foot in a true 5 star hotel. I would recommend a hard pass on this one if your looking for a truly lovely experience - this hotel will not deliver.

This is a beautiful hotel on a beautiful site by the lake. However, there were some areas of opportunities for improvement: (1) charging outlets are very limited and locations of outlets are not convenient. Apparently, hotel is not designed for modern day travel. (2) most staff spoke very little English. It was struggling to order a drink - a glass of wine (3) we found dusts on bed sheets. Housekeeper came and replaced them quickly (4) no hand towels. It is hard to use large towel to wash face. Housekeeping department should visit Global Hotels to understand what modern day travelers need. It seems like a good local hotel but need to improve serive for international travelers

On balance a great stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Check in was brilliant. They took out bags and sat us in the bar. We had time to relax abs were given complimentary drinks.
The lady that checked us in was very informative and showed us to our rooms and the bags followed after.
Food was great but with a good variety. All completely fresh and well presented.
The only drawback is that the rooms we had seemed a bit dated and some upgrades/decoration needed.
Other than that, I would recommend it.

Ever since we stepped into the hotel the service was incredible, we were treated to a welcome drink overlooking the sea and the service from the guest services team was amazing. The pool is incredible and you have access to the other Grecotel hotels which was nice to switch it up each day. The food is incredible we went to the Italian at the imperial hotel a lot and the pool bar offers cheaper options for every day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Eva Palace. The staff and service were excellent. The views are fantastic and the location is great.

On the downside, the decor at the sister hotel, the Imperial, is much nicer. The beds are VERY firm - though customer service brought us a mattress topper as soon as we mentioned it. That was a welcome improvement. The only other downside was the buffet meals. We felt they were very average and a let down. There are a number of fantastic tavernas within a short walk of the hotel. I'd advise skipping the all-inclusive meal package and enjoying the nearby choices.

Rustic traditional charm, amazing views from hotel, fabulous pool design. Able to use the facilities of nearby Imperial Hotel beach and boat shuttle was delightful. Also Good entertainment programme.
In one day the staff at the hotel changed my opinion for the better, in particular, credit to Georgios Lampridinis The Manager as on the First day arriving late 7pm we had issue with bathroom toilet not flushing and check in was a little brisk.... so we were a little miffed. however once we aired these issues the hotel were incredibly accommodating and Georgios went out of his way to check in on us for the next couple of days and was extremely focused us on enjoying our stay. Thank you Georgios you are a credit to the Grecotel hotels and you definitely ensured we had a wonderful holiday!

Corfu place to stay.

The hotel is a true resort so if you are looking for and all inclusive style hotel rhisnia the place. The restuarants are very good and the property expands around all the company's other properties. The downfall is outside of town so the taxi rides are high 30 to 35 euros but the they have a shuttle to take you into town at 10 and it comes back at 2. They have a tour service in house to book tours and they provide transportation or you can rent a car in the lobby. The have a nice private beach with a bar and a large pool.

Fantastic service in a beautiful location

We travelled with our 10 month old baby and the hotel couldn’t have done enough for us- from arranging a cot, steriliser, baby bath etc in our room to all the restaurants having high chairs. It meant we actually got some relaxing time and didn’t have to worry! I loved this hotel- will definitely be back.

Trip full of bad/good surprises!

We arrived to find that our room category, Deluxe with a sea view balcony, isn't available! They claimed that the airconditioning isn't functioning! After lots of panic, stress & negotiation, we had a deal to be downgraded to a garden view room, actually it was a garbage view room, the window looks above the garbage at the back of the hotel, uncomfy room& bed, worst noisy night ever! We couldn't sleep. Then the 3 remaining days we were upgraded to a villa with a private pool & that was really very nice room.

Wonderful view from balcony

We celebrated my husband's special birthday in this hotel. The superior double room on the 5th floor was clean and spacious with amazing views! We ordered room service and had dinner there a few nights because there was no restaurant which can beat this view from our balcony. The staff were polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We noted that there were lots of guests who stayed every year, which shows how much they love the hotel! The breakfast was amazing, with great selections of fruits, salad, yogurt, bread and cooked breakfast items. The hotel pool was wonderful too with great views. We didn't use the private beach much because there are so many nice beaches around Corfu! Evening entertainment by the pool bar was a great addition. We'd love to go back to this hotel again.

We did notice that there were some rooms on the lower floors with quite small balconies, which would be too small for our liking, so make sure you get a room on a higher floor to get the best views and a more comfortable balcony!

Great hotel next to private beach

Good hotel next to their own private beach. Room had lovely views of The bay. Good choice of breakfast although it gets very busy in the restaurant. Went on a trip to the Durrells village -Danilia which is owned by the hotel, well worth the visit. This is a 5 star hotel so drinks and snacks are priced accordingly. Also there are very good restaurants walking distance from the hotel which are worth a visit. Entertainment in the hotel was excellent with a varied choice of performers each evening.

Relaxing, Refreshing, Recommended!

We stayed here as the first leg of our honeymoon. When we arrived, the room was decorated with rose petals and the staff had prepared a tray with fresh fruit, nuts, and champaign. It was a lovely start to our stay. We must have been there at the very start of the season because multiple members of staff were completing their first day of work when we arrived. Despite being new, everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

The hotel is set-up to be an all-inclusive resort, although we only included breakfast for our stay. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed. The number of items and quality was amongst the best we had in Greece. They run a bus into Corfu town twice a day in case you want to get away to do some exploring, shopping, or eat lunch. The morning bus left the hotel at 10:00 and returned at 14:00. Most shops in town are open until 14:00, close for the afternoon, and reopen at 18:00. The bus is timed perfectly for enjoying a morning in town, and an afternoon by the pool or the ocean at the hotel. They also have a Hertz car rental service (and cars) at the hotel.

Clean hotel - stunning area

Very relaxing stay in a stunning area. Food was good but selection was limited . Hotel staff are polite & helpful . Entertainment was of a good standard would of been nice to see some Greek dancers doing the Zorba may be next time . All in all a good value hotel .We will be returning .

Amazing Hotel and Staff

We stayed in the hotel in October the end of the season. We traveled as a family my wife and I with two older children 18 and 20. The whole holiday was faultless. We have stayed in a lot of hotels in and around Europe and this is one of the very best.

The rooms were amazing very clean, modern with a classic twist and incredible views of the bay. I still can't stop talking about it. Rooms were in the main building.

The staff were all brilliant particularly the breakfast staff who were always attentive and happy.

We looked at other hotels in the area and have since stayed in Kontokali bay hotel which had exceptional reviews and was very good. But if you are looking for class relaxation incredible attention to the smallest detail this is by far the best hotel in the area. Well done to everyone you are all a credit to fantastic hotel

Nice hotel, amazing views

Went with a group of girls. Wanted a relaxing break. Staff couldn't do enough for you. The genuinely cared for their guests. Good selection of food everyday. Was nice and fresh. Pool area was lovely. Comfortable sun beds. Could do with a little light music during the day.
Reception staff recommended great restaurants for the evening in Corfu old town.

Beautiful views but rubbish food!

Eva palace has stunning views that cannot be beaten! But the food in the hotel itself is a real let down and extremely over priced. I wouldn't recommend even trying it. Go to the few local restaurants around the hotel, even if you have to go to the same place twice. I would recommend renting a car or a boat for the day if you want to explore Corfu a bit as this hotel is quite isolated except the few restaurants. This hotel is perfect for older people who want to totally relax but not great if you're a bit younger since all entertainment is targeted at an older audience.
