Penny pinching hotel manager turns the air conditioning off at 10.30pm so the room temperature climbs to 26 Degrees for the whole night !
The picture was taken at 2am but it got even hotter.
We complained as did many other customers and we were promised it would remain on through the night but THEY LIED and turned it off every night ruining our holiday.
The staff told us to open the window instead but there is a 6 lane junction outside so this was a ridiculous suggestion as the noise was horrendous.
The property was advertised as having air conditioning not PART TIME air conditioning and turned off when you would need it.
I am sure the manager went home to a lovely cool house and slept very well saving his pennies.
Expedia did try and contact the hotel twice but they did not reply, what a surprise !
Expedia did give us a small refund but the holiday was ruined due to lack of sleep.

The only negative of of the hotel is the Air conditionig. It works at a preset temperatures and you have no control over the AC. You only can turn on and off. May be there was a problem only in my room bacause raising the temperature from 21 degree Celsius to 24 degrees was about two hours and from the reception gave me an extra duvet.

. We had a great time during our stay, and everything was very comfortable. Two people who truly made our visit extra special were Philip at the front desk and Ana Maria, our room attendant. Both were excellent human beings and a pleasure to interact with.

Philip went above and beyond—he personally ensured we had our breakfast packed the day we had to leave early in the morning, knowing we had paid for it. That kind of care and attention made a big difference.

Ana Maria also did a fantastic job keeping our room spotless and perfectly tidy every day. Her attention to detail and warm attitude made us feel truly welcomed and at home.

Thanks to them, we fell in love with Rome even more.

The only downside was an interaction with the night shift front desk staff. Unfortunately, he was not very helpful or pleasant. I requested bathroom tissue, which never arrived, and his general attitude didn’t reflect the level of service we experienced from the rest of the team.

Aside from that one incident, everyone else we encountered was kind, professional, and welcoming.

Very good value for the money - pre Globus Tour.

The exterior of the building was under renovation, so there was scaffolding in place which was unsightly, but did not affect our stay. Our room was in the building next door to the hotel proper, so we had to exit to the street to get to our room. The building is older, but has a lot of character. The elevator was much more of a freight elevator than a modern elevator. It barely fit two people and two pieces of luggage, but again, it gave the experience character. For the price, it was a great option. We flew in early for a Globus Tour that started the next day at a hotel right around the block, which was much more expensive. The outdoor terrace on the 6th floor is wonderful.

Very clean, quality place to stay. 10 minute walk from Roma Termini station. A longer walk to the main tourist attractions, but still walkable. Good soundproof windows, kept the street noise out, which is important in Rome with the high amount of street noise late into the night.

Hotel is refurnished recently and breakfast was really good. But there were no heating system working and reception told me its spring time at middle of March! Basically room was cold. On the other hand sounds isolation is terrible. You can easily hear somebody to walk at corridor and nearby room. Such a 250€ at winter time level room it is not acceptable.

When I first arrived, I booked a large room and paid for it, but they did not give me the same room I chose and gave me a very small room. When I told them it was not the same room, they told me that the site I booked from was the one that puts wrong pictures. I was very upset and was forced to stay in a small room because I booked for 5 days. The heating is bad and cannot be controlled from inside the room. You do not have options on the TV. It is very boring. The cleaning service is bad. If you do not request more than once, no one will clean your room... and the cleaning girls, no one speaks English. You cannot communicate with them. When I need something, I have to go down to the reception. There are no phone numbers in the room to call and request. To complain, the hotel is very poor in breakfast, limited and boring. Every day it is the same breakfast and you do not have multiple options. I stayed for 5 days and they only gave me 1 water bottle during the entire period I stayed with them. They do not have credibility at all. I read that they have a parking lot and when I arrived, they told me that there is none... and there is no sound insulation in the next room, you can hear it completely. A bad experience and I do not recommend it.

I just want to tell you if anyone is trying to book them for their stays, don’t!!! The power goes out ten times a day ever more. Their cards never work and customer service is pathetic. Please don’t ruin your stay. I overlooked the previous reviews thinking it’s not going to be that bad lol but it really is. Go to a better place where the services are worth your money

Nice hotel - value was OK but not amazing for the price. It was quiet, but we did hear the people above us. The room cleaning was only adequate - they made the bed and tidied a bit but did not replenish shampoo, body wash or coffee that we had used, so we had to ask the desk for these items. The are itself is very safe - embassies and consulates in the area, so plenty Italian army people around.

The only issue we had was fire alarms were going off in one section of hotel. We evacuated to lobby and nobody knew this was occurring. Fire dept never came to give an all clear. Was a bit concerning that they didnt seem to have procedures to follow.

I stayed at the hotel for one night. The location was great and convenient, a walking distance from the Termini Station. It’s also close to a metro station and there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel. The check-in process was super efficient, no other information provided except the elevator is that way, the wifi password and if you need information dial a number on the card.

The room was I expected from the pictures, although the room appeared to be clean the floor was not clean and had dirt that I could wipe off with a tissue.

The bed matresss was hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was of a decent size, but did not have the basic items you would expect from a 4 star hotel. No cotton pads, no cotton buds, no slippers, no robe, maybe I had high expectations for that price.

There is no sound proofing. My room was street facing and even with the windows closed I could hear the traffic noise. I could even hear the people from adjacent rooms talking in the morning and that actually woke me up!

The electricity kept going off multiple times which was annoying since I was on work calls at the time.

I also needed to print a few documents so when I checked in they told me it was possible. Later in the evening when I went to reception to ask to print the documents, the gentleman on duty said because I have to print more than one or two pages, I have to pay. And said I could pay it as a tip in cash?!

Overall, not bad if everything would match the lobby aesthetic!

We had a great stay! Super clean rooms and excellent breakfast spread with multiple options including lactose free milk. Staff was helpful and kind and shared multiple options of how to get around the city.
The only con: the location is slightly far from trevi fountain and spanish steps area (where almost everything is located) however, you can easily take transit which is located right in front of the hotel!

Nice hotel. Clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sort of on the NE perimeter of Rome, but it was a relatively quick taxi or Uber ride to the major tourist spots (Colosseum, Trevi, Vatican). Breakfast operation had problems one morning. A group was on property and they ran out of many food and utensil (coffee cups, spoons) items. Felt sorry for the staff. They were nice but clearly overwhelmed. The only negative was the fitness room. Small and underequipped.

Would Use Again.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning was good, it was required as the temperatures were high during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. The coffee was excellent whereas the breakfast juices were not. There was a small cooked selection, continental choices, cereals and yoghurts. Fruit and nuts were available, along with sweet selections. Who doesn't like a lemon doughnut for breakfast? I have had better selections elsewhere but I was grateful for what was on offer. I enjoyed my stay there, I would stay there again. A little way out, 30 minute walk to the centre, 50 minutes to the Vatican. We are good walkers so it was not a problem for us.

Decent property but the location is not close to any decent restaurants. On site restaurant had no dining options for people with wheat allergies or the ability to modify their offerings. We stayed further in Rome at a small brand boutique hotel and had much better dining options outside the hotel. Hotel staff was nice but so many of the guests staying at the hotel were rude and entitled and not kind to the staff.

We had to book this hotel last minute due to another stay that was horrible. Price range was good, it was clean and a last minute decision for us. It was away from the main attractions but able to walk it no issue. The room was good, but house cleaning was subpar. They did not replenish anything either day. Breakfast was just ok. We paid extra to ensure we had a decent meal and all 3 days no change, nothing great. The staff attending barely spoke english and could not understand much. We sat at the bar 2 days in a row. First day great, second day, the bar tender just left and was gone for an hour. It was strange. Overall the room was clean, bed was good, and we felt safe leaving and walking around, no complaints.

This property is located in walking distance from the train station and directly across from the subway station. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is very accommodating. Hotel is clean and looks like recently updated. Very nice A/ C and floor is all tile/marble. I stayed there 4 nights. The day I checked out asked for some drinking water at the front desk and the clerk gives me 2 small water bottles and said it is 5 Euro in cash. Won’t accept credit card. Luckily I had some Euros with me. Felt rude so I can give only 4 star.
