Excellent location with helpful staff

A fantastic location for a brief stay. On arrival we realised we had not booked a room with balcony. They facilitated an upgrade at a reasonable cost , however, the superior room was only available for the first of our 2 nights. So, after moving room after 1 night they gave us the best room in the hotel. A penthouse suite with enormous terrace. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only minor criticism is that after the breakfast restaurant closes at 11am, there is no facility for drinks until the bar opens at 5pm

Cute hotel overall. Good location to walk to dinner. The room was completely muggy and stunk of old cigarette smoke. Luckily didn’t spend too much time in the room. There was no service at the wine bar downstairs. The breakfast though was fantastic.

This property is absolutely perfect. The room is large and clean. Comfortable bed. Large balcony . Location is steps away from everything. The breakfast was amazing. We’ve never in all our travels had such a large selection of items to choose from. It was fresh and delicious!! The hotel also leaves a thank card and box of delicious cookies as a thank you for staying . The parking and breakfast both included. Will certainly come back!

We thought Hotel Luise was an absolutely excellent hotel. The breakfast is amazing - a huge variety of cakes and pastries, delicious homemade bread, freshly made omelettes and crepes, and daily specials. We also ate at the restaurant, where the food was delicious, and seemed to be similar prices to the other restaurants in town. The room was immaculately clean, and the staff were very helpful at explaining possible places and see nearby. I would definitely come back again.

I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel more! The rooms were lovely and kept very clean. The breakfast was delicious and had a great choice, replenished very quickly and always a member of staff on hand if you needed them. The pool was nice and warm and plenty of sunbeds for everyone. We had a drink on the beautiful veranda every day and there is plenty of comfy seating. The hotel is really well decorated and feels very boutique. It is only a short walk to the beach and the town centre. We had lunch once at the hotel and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were 5 star - always someone on hand to help. I really hope to go back again.

Amazing hotel, highly recommend

Our stay at hotel Luise was terrific. The stuff is super friendly and made us feel home from the moment we checked in untill our checkout. The reception team is warm and welcoming, happy to answer every question and when they found out it was my birthday they sent to our room a complementary bottle of wine and some free fruites. Amazing - this is how service should look like.
The breakfast is good, with a veriaty of fresh homemade break and even omelets.
The location of the hotel is perfect and if you're traveling with a car you'll definitely find the free parking lot as an advantage.
Don't miss it, probably one of the best hotels is riva and the best we've stayed in during our holiday in Italy.

2nd visit to the Hotel Luise and it didn’t disappoint! Wonderful stay. Lovely friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent food (we had breakfast included but also chose to have the buffet dinner a couple of nights which was delicious). Great location - 10 minute walk into the centre of Riva. Hired out bikes from the hotel twice - really good fun.

Superb hotel that is located 5 minutes from the center of Riva del Garda,
All the staff are both friendly and very professional in their duties.
The lay out of the hotel is excellent with breakfast served outside in the gazebo and what a breakfast it is. The choice and quality of the food is exceptional, with a lot of fresh home made produce on offer.
Ample free parking in a secure car park to the rear of the hotel.

A great hotel that I can’t recommend enough. The welcome was friendly with a speedy check in. The room was clean and decor was modern and cool. The buffet breakfast on the terrace was the best of the five hotels we stayed in on our trip to Italy. The pool had more than enough beds, nice towels and the bar service was speedy and friendly. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the centre but it is all flat and pretty if you take the path by the lake. Lots of parking too.

The hotel was in a great location, near to the old town and shops, and the hotel room was nice with a good view. The breakfast was very good with a wide mix of food including cereal, pastries, fruit, meats and there was also fried food if it takes your fancy. The only issue we had was when we visited the restaurant for our evening meal. We waited 1h15 for one course and after asking the waiter where the food it came quickly but from that point on we felt we were ignored by that waiter for the rest of the holiday.

But overall we were very happy with the hotel.

The hotel team have taken an ugly old tourist hotel and invested in giving it a modern and quirky style.

The staff are excellent , breakfast was superb and the ethos , style and attitude of the business is refreshing.

Stayed for the second time at Hotel Luise and was delighted to be upgraded to a suite. This is a very good hotel with a lovely pool, a pleasant walk from the town centre. The staff are friendly and professional, a small issue with our room was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our room was well equipped and spacious; the breakfast was great with lots of choice and special little touches such as fresh honeycomb.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second time at Hotel Luise as much, if not more so, than our first time three years ago. If anything the hotel has improved since our last visit, everything seems to have been thought of.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. Parking our car was easy, access to our room was perfect. The room itself was fine, bathroom good, bed quite comfortable, I did ask for a top sheet and it was put on bed. The location was good, breakfast was amazing, best we have experienced in our 4 weeks in Italy, staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. My husband used the pool and said it was great. The only negative comment which I told the hotel about was that the a/c in our room was no good, even in the middle of the night it wasn't cold! All in all, amazing for value, thank you.

We stayed in hotel Louise for a total of 5 nights. It was fantastic in every way. The location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The choice for breakfast was plentiful and overall we had a pleasant experience.

I think my only gripe would be about the size of the pool which is nowhere near the size it seems from the photos. The pool is pretty small.

To be honest I was sceptical of the place when I first saw it. Soulless modern, Unimaginative from the outside, but once embraced by its charms, I couldn't get over how homely perfect it was. Excellent location, small rooms, but hip, super comfy & intuitive, cozy beds, spectacular views. Knowledgable & friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast! Just a great vibe! (Slightly pricey though) but we loved it! It was a pleasure to come back to the hotel and our rooms every time! Plus the free city bike rentals at the hotel were an integral touch.
And lovely little details all over the place.

Review of Hotel Luis

We stayed for a week at this Hotel. We were on a bed and breakfast basis, but evening meals were available. The Hotel is maybe a five minute easy walk from the Town Centre but this was no problem at all and we expect it was quieter in consequence and enabled it to have pleasant poolside grounds and an excellent swimming pool. Breakfasts were superb with English and Continental options and loads of choice. All the staff, without a single exception, were so kind, friendly and helpful. We have stayed in many hotels in Italy over the last 24 years, but we have no hesitation in rating Hotel Luis as the very best of all of them.

What a GREAT experience

There is not enough good things to say about Hotel Luise.. Starting from its convenient location, just a few minutes walk to the center, till the amazing service throughout the hotel. To mention just one person is hard, but if we had to, we'll highly recommend dealing with Roberto who did everything above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.. Breakfast was the best we had in Europe all together.. Eco friendly bath amenities and simple but clean cut and well thought of room design. The hotel was very clean and the staff were lovely. The choice at breakfast was especially good and very good standards. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quite nice enough for us to use the pool but we did hire bikes from the hotel (free of charge) and used them one of the days we were there.

This is a great hotel for couples and families, with all the facilities you would expect plus a play room for children. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the town or the lake shore with great views of the mountains. A lovely selection at breakfast and the restaurant and bar are excellent.

The hotel is beautiful, newer and very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is okay...5 to 10 min walk to water and center.

Absolutely perfect hotel for our stay

Perfect location with short walk to lake and into town. Very welcoming, friendly, excellent facilities. The perfect base for exploring the gorgeous Rival del Garda. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is a fantastic hotel!

The Hotel Luise is brilliantly situated about 10 walk from the beautiful centre of Riva.The lake can be accessed along a path opposite the hotel. The hotel is bright and airy with a modern tastefully decorated interior. Everywhere is spotless and the staff are courteous and cheery. Would definately stay again!

Wonderful Hotel Luise at Riva del Garda!

We stayed for a week at the Hotel Luise in Riva del Garda and it was wonderful. Clean rooms, comfy beds, a robe and slippers in the bathroom. The food was great with lots of choice, with both buffet and a la carte menus in the evening. Buffet breakfast was good with some difference selections everyday. The staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful, especially Roberto. Un bravo ragazzo! There were also plenty of free bicycles for residents to explore the area, including the Ponale Strada to Pregacini which was amazing.
The lake is clear and very safe to swim in. No sandy beach, so no sandy sandwiches and drinks either! Lots of grass areas to lie on plus cafes and toilets. A wonderful family friendly lake area, hotel and town. Would suit couples, families, all ages with a wide variety of entertainment, food and culture.

A great hotel

The Luise is a great small hotel. Service is excellent, Map rooms are spacious, the breakfasts are quality and the levels of cleanliness superb. Decor is modern and stylish. You will not be disappointed.
