HVAC unit had to be turned off because it was whining so loud, curtains had tears in it. If all you need is the least expensive place to sleep near the airport then this is it. The best feature is that it was clean. Rundown. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Was a kitchenette with broken handle on the refrigerator, old useless coffee maker with lukewarm coffee and no cutlery, pots or dishes. No garbage can soap, dish clothes or towels in kitchen. Hot water took 5 minutes running to obtain. Shower rod just sitting on top of frame. Fell off numerous times and only good thing was the beds were comfortable and the TV was up to date. Whole aesthetic was not very good at all. It is not a boutique Inn, it is an old motel.

We arrived on Saturday so we could not cancel reservation by Friday. The registration had security gates on the doors, not regular doors like most inns/suites/hotels. Registration area smelled like cleanser. At this point asked to see the room. Room smelled terrible. It was picked up but looked like not so nice things go on in there. In reservation we requested a queen bed, but the bed looked like a full size.

This place is beyond neglected, the owners should be ashamed to even try to offer if for the travelers. Room is filthy, the vinyl wall tiles in the bathroom are peeling off, all cabinets are beat up, filthy, and way past their usable lifetime. Window screens are missing so it's not safe to open the windows to ventilate the horrible chlorine smell. The smoke detectors are missing and the base plates are hanging on their wiring. ...And this place refuses to even issue a refund so I can find a different place to stay. I had no choice but to just book another hotel, as it was impossible to stay there.

After waiting half an hour at 9pm for someone to arrive at the office, we got told we could stay in a room (room 3). Once we had unpacked and got into bed we got a knock on the door and were told we had to move rooms to room 8.
We went to room 8 where as soon as we opened the door, an awful, nauseating smell hit us. There was also a loud generator sound. There was no way we could stay in the room. We got told that there were no other rooms available and we would have to find somewhere else to stay and got no refund
As we left the room, the new occupants of room 3 went in, straight into the same bedding we had been in.

This place was honestly not great. The Moment we entered our room we were hit with a cigarette type smell making us feel nauseous and honestly it was overwhelming. The bed was clean at first glance but then we start to move the comforters around and found stains and holes on the sheets. As we inspect the bed even more we found out that the bed was being held by 3 pieces of wood down the middle making it uncertain if we should sleep on it. The floor was dirty as there was food stains on the floor. The bathroom was clean but you could tell it was a little run down. As we were getting ready to leave, we looked up and saw there was smoker gunk on the ceiling which made us feel very uncomfortable staying there. We were only there for 30-45 minutes max. Overall not a great experience with the very little time we spent here.

The room was relatively clean. Bed linen was very clean. The major problem I had with the room, which I only came to realize afterwards, if that there is some kind of infestation in the room. The entire evening I didn't see one insect, but the next day it turned out I had bug bites all over my body. My guess is that it's coming from underneath the bed because the rest of the room looks pretty clean.

Run down, funky motel. Room was clean & basic, but rough around the edges,smelling of smoke.. Water pressure was quite good and was the most redeeming quality, and bed was comfortable, but I wouldn’t stay here again based on that. Spring for a nicer place— you’ll be happier. I read disturbing reviews but stubbornly chose this budget motel with low expectations. [See Yelp for more.] I was prepared for it to be less than pristine, tired and basic, and was determined to overlook any cosmetic issues as long as the sheets were clean. The sheets were clean but that's the ONLY generous thing I can say about the accommodations! Stayed 1 of 4 nights.

DIRTY and RUNDOWN. Sticky floors and tabletops (hopefully detergent residue but maybe not). The bathroom had a bathtub but no lower faucet to fill it; the shower head was caked with mineral deposits or worse. The kitchen countertop ledge had coffee grounds and other food accumulation--attracting flies, and nothing to clean it with (see below).

KITCHENETTE. Cupboards were bare. No utensils/ flatware/ dishes; no salt & pepper; no bottle opener. No dish soap, sponge, paper towels or dish rag. No dinette table or seating. No garbage can.

FURNISHINGS and STORAGE. No seating. Had to watch TV from bed; the 2 flimsy bar stools at the tiny \"desk\" were tall and backless. No closet; no drawers; no place to hang clothes or put items away, no luggage rack to elevate a suitcase.

UNSAFE. My room faced a side street; the public sidewalk is just steps away. All 4 windows were unlocked when I arrived. The door was knocked on by random passerbys--four different times between 5-8pm, and again at 7:30am.

SERVICE. Check-in (David) was pleasant and professional. Check-out charged 4 nights but I only stayed 1; credit issued.

There were cigarette burns on the sink in the bathroom, cigarette burn holes in the curtains, and stains on the sheets and the towels (although they did look washed clean, just stained). The towels were torn and had holes from wear and tear. The bed was pretty comfortable, but the sheets had stains that looked like they may have been blood. Homeless men were hanging around the property, and some of the other guests looked sketchy.

Housekeeper didn't clean my room. When I asked for clean towels I was told I could only get two, and there were 4people in my room. The hotel smelled like marijuana, and people were smoking in their rooms, just sitting in the window blowing the smoke outside. A man knocked on my door around 1am with blood dripping from his face. It was a horrible experience.

The first noticeable deterrent was the odor when walking into the foyer of the dormitory room type set up. It immediately reminded me of an old musty gym or very dirty old bar. The stench of themust & old smoke was very evident. Upon entering the room, we noticed exposed wires in some of the electrical outlets with missing covers. The two very low quality night stand lamps did not work (or if yhe did, we never figured out how to turn them on). In the bathroom, the tile around the vanity had gaps around it exposing the floor below it and was filfthy IN the crevice. As we were assigned the closest room to the street, it was very noisy as well. We did not stay, leaving less than 5 hours after checking in. Would not recommend.

We did like the location, cleanliness of the linens, and the beds were comfortable although squished into a small room, but all in all an acceptable spot. We didn't like the clogged drain in the shower, my husband pulled a wad of hair out so it would drain, yuck. We also didn't like there was no option for late check out, we had to leave at precisely 11am. They called our room at 10:50 and showed up at the door at 11:05am as we were finishing packing up. So when they say 11am check out, they really mean it.

Do not be deceived by the exterior pictures, this hotel is disgusting. The paint on the walls is peeling, the appliances in the room were gross. The interior needs updating, and needs to be maintained and cleaned. This property is located in a known drug area. I had reservations for three nights, the first night someone tried to break into my room. After that I checked out, and was told I would be refunded for the 2 nights—I have not been refunded yet. I will never stay at Europa hotel again and I suggest others think twice before staying there.

I reserved two rooms I stayed with my children in room 16 throughout the night there were people going in and out from one of the back rooms in the hall there were people yelling and man running out yelling at someone that was with him “you think I fell asleep and so you take my van!” I think this place is in a rough spot but I watched plenty of people going in and out of the gates along the back of the hotel I had a really hard time sleeping. It wasent a terrible place I just think they need to maybe lock it down better the guy in the office kept trying to close the gates but they would be open again almost immediately.

I won't rent a room here again

As others have indicated, the area around the hotel is a bit questionable, but that's just Desert Hot Springs for you. Once the sun hits the mountains and it starts to get dark all sorts of people come out, and they will undoubtedly pass by the front of the hotel.

The floor in the room and the bed/bedding were both spotlessly clean. The walls and trim around the room at the floor were another story. The trim was rotted all around the room and in the bathroom. The walls had stains that I would rather not know what they were. One of the 2 towels in the bathroom had a lot of hairs embedded in it, so I didn't use that one.

There is no chain lock or anything on the door, only the key activated lock. This made me a bit uneasy, and with good reason. On the 2nd night I stayed there a man with no luggage who looked homeless entered my room while I was watching tv. I told him \"This one is booked\" and he looked up, apologized, and left. That could have been a lot worse. I don't know if he was given a key at the desk, or if he had some kind of key that never expired and just assumed the room was empty.

I ended up sleeping with the furniture from the room against the door for the rest of my stay, which wasn't super helpful because the pieces were all on wheels.

A nice young man checked me in and decided to relocate my room. The room itself was quite nice and clean. In the morning i discovered there was no hot water..at all. I let the girl upfront know by walking over since the phone wasnt working. She said, \"we usually have hot water.\" She didnt offer to fix it or let me shower in another room. Didnt even apologize. Also, the tib was incapable of being used as a tub.

My friend and I stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds. There was a separate kitchenette, with a fridge and microwave and sink. It didn't serve our purpose.

No hair dryer in room, had to ask for a hair dryer, and the guy told me they have a couple, so to use it and return it. No hanging space to hang clothes. Only one hanging rod in bathroom - on which you can hang towels. But where do we keep the rest of our clothes? Had to hang over the chair.

Air conditioner is a wall unit, it was very noisy and kept us awake, so we shut it off at night. Rooms face the parking lot which faces street. It is not in a nice area.

Two other friends were in a room with a King bed. Their shower drain was clogged, so they could not shower. The guys behind the front desk tried to unclog it but couldn't. So, after a day of doing C2C hike and stumbling into the hotel exhausted, my friends could not even shower. It was disappointing.

I asked for the hotel to reimburse my friends, at least refund half the cost for the inconvenience, but he refused saying that one of my friends was rude to his staff.

Needless to say, we had an unpleasant experience with this hotel, and will not be staying here again.
