Fisrt problem with this hotel is that on the web they state they have an airport shuttle. They do not and when you call they tell you to get a cab. If you have ever been to Nigeria every cab is a scammer, even Uber drivers will show up and start trying to get you to pay more and if you dont they leave. Then the room was nothing like the pictures, maybe 20 years ago but the hotel was run down, the lick on the door was busted off, the bathroom was a disaster and the staff just did not care.

Be careful of this hotel

First,it was the receptionist trying to give me a lesser room than what i had booked online, i had to fight it before i was given the right room. Then the kitchen staff were so unprofessional, the receptionist is not qualifications at all,no manner of approach towards customers..i hate the place.

I arrived at the property and my reservation could not be located. I was with my elderly parents and we had to stay in the lobby for almost 2 hours waiting for them to find the reservation. Staff were inconsiderate just saying they have to wait. There needed to be a better way to deal with such issues, the Expedia agent I chatted with mentioned this is common, if that's the case them put in mitigating controls or plan on how to resolve such issues quickly without inconveniencing the customers. Dinning took forever, paying for food was war, I did transfer only for the server to come back to ask for #1k because of charges. Breakfast was bread and tea, really?. While the rooms were neat there was a roach on my bed, pretty disgusting I could hardly sleep after seeing that. The toilet seat was broken which is hazardous to anyone sitting on it. The TV is so tiny you can hardly see the pictures from where the bed is. I can go on and on. I will never stay there again.

Restaurant and Kitchen staff not professional, rude, never ask if you need anything, ignoring your order for hours after taking your order and telling you it will be ready in 30 minutes, order will not be done before staff was changed and new staff was not awared about your order by old staff, they just sitting playing with her phone l. Very very disappointed when after waiting for one hour I asked finally if my order ready and she started to look for paper that old staff took with my order and just left it on the counter. Very very disappointed ☹️

One of the beds was extremely hard. No remote provided for A/C; you are stuck with whatever temperature they decided to set it on. In four nights I got only lukewarm water from the water heater. Otherwise the rooms were good, with drinking water provided. Location is great, not far from the airport, saving much traffic time.

Experience Not bad..but the room telephone connection was broken and when the front desk was informed, the maintenance guy who promised to come did not come till we left..had to keep going downstairs for everything..surprising

The hotel interior, much like a majority of Lagos, is a little old but the hotel is kept well maintained and clean. Staff were mostly ok. It’s hardly the Ritz but for an airport stopover in Lagos it was adequate.

I first stayed here in 2015 and much of my review will probably be similar to what I wrote then. This is an excellent choice if you are looking for an affordable hotel close to the airport. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms work and the hotel is very secure. It has a nice restaurant, as well as a bar and a computer center so you don't have to leave once you are here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the WiFi conection in our room and they offered to move us to another room. Upon hearing that the WiFi was fine downstairs, we opted to just go down to the computer center instead and keep the room. One other advantage of this hotel is that it is right on the main airport road. You can easily see it and don't have to worry if your cab driver is going down the right side street or not. The hotel staff also arranged a cab for us. Great place if you don't want to spend a lot of money and want to be close to the airport.

The hotel was overbooked on the day and I had to wait for the staff to look for a room for me. Apparently, despite paying upfront they did not keep a room for me. I was giving a room only for me to enter into the room and find the luggage of a guest in the room. The guest is yet to check out and they allocated me the same room. they later got me another room that was yet to be properly cleaned as they were not sure if the guest was checked out. The room was cleaned while I wait and the rest of my stay was good. The hotel is close to the airport but the road was under construction when I visited hence access was a bit difficult

Good option for a night close to airport. Don’t expect to much but by Nigerian standards this place is great. Bathroom is clean, WiFi works, and staff is very helpful. Taxi at airport (international) wanted 4500 NG for one trip, I could bargain it down to 2500. Rate at hotel is 3000 for the way back. There is no shuttle.

A great place to stay that was near the airports so the overnight stay was convenient going from international to domestic. The on-site Resturant was good as well. There is no elevator so if stairs are a problem you should ask for a lower floor.

It was brief.
The hotel doesn't have a shuttle to the airport and wouldn't accept foreign issued credit cards.
No breakfast was offered. But the staff were very nice. Even when a local carhire operator tried to rip me off they stepped in.
The staff were very helpful in other ways.

Nice hotel very close to the airport.

Wonderful saff, very helpful and always very polite with a smile on their faces at all times. I had an issue with the bed that was rock hard for two nights I slept on top of pillows as the discomfort was unbearable, the bed left me bruised on each side of my hip, but I am glad to say the issue was resolved and I was provided with a sponge Which made up for everything. All in all I had a beautiful stay in STOP OVER Motels, the food is delicious but some dishes are too costly like the egusi and goat meat it was unnecessary expensive and was not worth the price. I will recommend Stop Over Motel to a friend.

The bathroom is very small water spill out all over the floors
The bed oh my God its the worst bed ever
It was like sleeping on rocks.
The A/C unit is position behind a wall so it was unable to keep the entire room cool
We requested a new room and was told all the rooms in the hotel are the same..
