Great area that was walkable, close to public transport and lots of restaurants and local sights. We checked in super late due to a delay and had to call (not at door) but they were there and got us in quick. Friendly staff. Loved the coffee and tea available and all the snacks- even a “to go” bag of snacks at checkout which was a nice touch. The room was small but comfortable. Only complaint was the shower was small. My husband is a tall guy and it was a tight squeeze but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Amazing, even though no breakfast, but they had a free coffee machine, welcome pastries and water,
Sweets and best of all on checkout they gifted a goody bag full of chocks, nuts and a can of drink. Super nice touch.

Clean and beautiful room! Loved this little hotel!!! The staff were friendly, helpful, easy to work with at checking- so full of helpful information. They have danish each day! They give you two empty water bottles to use in your room and around town as you can drink the Amsterdam water. The place is beautiful. The windows opened so I could enjoy fresh air at night! Loved the neighborhood! Various types of restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. It is only a 20-25 min walk from Central Station. Nearby trams. On Saturday there were two markets very close by.
Highly recommend!!!!!!

The room was for 1 person only. We booked a year ahead of time and our cruise ship room was bigger than the hotel. Also the elevator did not go to our room and we had to lug our luggage up and down steep stairs.

The hotel is charming! Like most European spaces, it is small but the staff is helpful and the place is next to a nice breakfast spot. The only downside is that the shower drain is in the middle of the bathroom so it gets the whole bathroom floor wet (but that’s just preference!) it’s a bit of a walk from the train station and city centre (around 30 mins) but overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel in ‘the Jordaan’. Great location and although simple, good facilities. Service was excellent. Attentive and thoughtful, giving a snack bag at check out for the journey.
No vreakfast, but free coffee machine and variety of cafes across the hotel and in street.

The accommodation is tiny but adequate.and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is walkng distance to attractions such as Anne Frank's House as well as pickup meeting place for tours- Amsterdam Central Station. It's walking distance from Stop 9 of Hop On Hop Off bus tour. In addition, easily to travel from and to via the airport connection and Tram.

The staircase was narrow compared to what I'm accustomed. Nevertheless, I glad my lodging experience was at Linden. Its definitely worth a revisit.

This was a lovely boutique hotel nestled in the charming Jordaan neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and kind. They have really gone the extra mile to make their guests feel special. Loved that you could have coffee or tea whenever you deserved. If you needed cups or plants, everything was there for you. The hotel is decorated beautifully and has pastries set out for guests every night, candy and cookies. They even give you a goodie bag when you check out. It was lovely.

It would have been nice to have a luggage holder on the side of the bed. And another larger mirror near an outlet in the room. Loved the vanity but be amuse the mirror was not lighted it was difficult to apply make up. Our shower was backing up, but this is an easy fix. Love the location and staff!

Adorable Hotel

Authentically beautiful hotel on the canal with spiral staircases and cozy rooms. The reception staff welcomed us at any time. Close to everything in Jordaan and in the city center. Bike City bike rentals just a short walk away. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay! The location is perfect - one can walk to and from the train station, as well as to museums, restaurants and more. Plus, the neighborhood it's in is very quiet and safe. Our room was well-appointed, very clean and very comfortable, with little snacks. And in the lobby, there's always cold water with lemon, and pastries in the evening for a snack. They'll hold your luggage for you if you want to walk around Amsterdam after check-out, and they even sent us on our way with a bag of snacks. Plus, nice, hot showers! 10/10 highly recommend!

The staff is super amenable and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and pleasant, even if the shower situation, just as in hotels in other European cities, is not ideal (water accumulates in half the bathroom after a simple bath). But that's a detail that's easily overlooked given the positives, including the quiet, picturesque neighborhood. All in all, Amsterdam was a revelation and the Linden and its surroundings certainly played a part.

Very small, and outdated

Rooms are very, very small. It’s typical in Amsterdam, but there is no sound proofing, you will hear and be woken up by loud stomping up and down stairs and in the floors above you. No refrigerators in rooms. Rooms are old and outdated for the price, it felt like a college dorm room and not a nice hotel. Carpet is old, smells, and stained. Curtains are old and musty. Walls are all stained. Bathroom is so small it’s hard to turn around in it.

This hotel got a lot of good reviews, which is why I chose it, but I thought this was one of the worst rooms I’ve ever gotten in a hotel. The staff was really nice though and the location is good near the tram and in a hip neighborhood.

The staff make you feel welcomed and its in a really nice quiet side but close to all the museums and city center. Several food options and shops closeby. Many amenities like a coffee station, lemon mint water, baked goods, sweets every day, and checkout goodie bag for your flight.

The property is located by a canal and our room had a nice view of it and the surrounding area. The entire hotel was well decorated, especially the lobby and the room. Bathroom was clean as well. Customer service was outstanding, as the staff at the front desk always quickly accommodated our requests.

The room I had was to close to the reception and was quite noisy from staff and guests. The guests going by my room also dusturbed me. My windows opened to a side road which was very noisy if kept open.

The toilet and shower room.were very clean but there was water every where because the shower did not have a proper enclosure

A lovely place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is great and not too far from places we wanted to visit. For a family room in Amsterdam, the room is a good size. The room was clean and comfortable but a little bit tired in places. The faux leather bed bases are completely worn and scruffy looking. The grouting round the tiles in the shower room needs to be freshened up as it is discoloured which makes it look grubby.
However, the good points are that the room is stylish and nicely decorated with plenty of storage and seating. The staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful! They gave us recommendations for places to eat nearby. We loved the café area in the hotel and appreciated the coffee machine which is free to use. We also really appreciated the lovely goody bags given to us at the end of our stay! Such a nice touch! All in all a lovely hotel.

I gave 4 stars on facility only because the bathroom is really small and difficult to shower. However we really didn’t mind because we loved everything else so much.

A small hotel that is well run. The staff are friendly, it is clean, and there is plenty of hot water. The room we had was tiny but well appointed for its size. The bed was comfortable. We were there over a week and managed nicely. Excellent location. Other guests can be a bit noisy in the halls but not the hotels fault. I recommend this property.

It was excellent! The moment we walked in everything was on point. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clean and tidy the decor was outstanding. The people were so friendly. There were little treats for us every night. We were allowed free coffee, hot chocolate. The members of staff also were able to bring up other restaurants for reservations. The area the hotel was in was immaculate. Highly recommend.
