A huge thank you to Moatez at the reception desk, who welcomed us with a smile from the moment we arrived. He was incredibly kind, professional, and always happy to help. He made us feel genuinely welcome, and his positive attitude made a great first impression.
I also want to thank Sharif from the Reservations team. He was so helpful before we even arrived, making sure everything was arranged perfectly and answering all of our questions promptly. His professionalism and attention to detail made the whole process easy and stress-free.

The hotel and staff were beyond amazing so very helpful! My transportation company canceled on me 30 minutes after they were supposed to pick me up for a long transfer to Abu Simbel. Well located and close to many historic sites, with plenty of nearby restaurants offering diverse dining options.
The only suggestion I would make to the staff is to improve the cleanliness of the beach and the water. We found a lot of debris in the sand, including cigarette butts and various types of trash. Smoking is very common, and unfortunately many people leave their waste behind. The water also contained litter, ranging from chip bags to other garbage.
Perhaps the hotel could limit the types of food allowed on the beach, or avoid allowing snacks altogether, to help reduce the amount of trash being thrown into the sand and water.

This is the 2nd time for me at Sunrise Avenue Hotel in Alexandria. A great experience with a very professional reception staff. A special thank you to Mr Mohamed, Mr Ramadan and Mr Emad for their hospitality and premium service. The hotel is well equipped and well designed. Very private rooms location right in front of the beach which is sandy and very smooth to walk barefoot and enjoy the sea. The restaurant staff, waiters and room service are also very decent and helpful. This has become my favorite first option whenever I visit Alexandria!

Which was weird considering we are hotel residents. We were willing to pay for the drinks and food but we felt it was an abuse.

This was, by far, our favourite hotel during our three week visit to Egypt. From arrival to departure the staff at Sunrise Alex Avenue were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The property is perfectly located in the middle of the Alexandria Corniche with a sprawling seafront expanse. We swam in the Mediterranean Sea in the hotel’s protected cove and enjoyed resting under the sun umbrellas. The heated pool was also available as was the unheated pool. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and in every situation, the staff was right there to offer their services. We were likely the only non- Egyptian tourists. I honestly would highly recommend choosing the Sunrise. Safe, clean with great facilities, excellent security and top notch service. Easy to get rides to the various sites. We wish we could have stayed longer in this idyllic location. Exceptional service and a gorgeous hotel.

We stayed for 12 nights during the spring transition (March/April) and enjoyed our experience. The location couldn’t be better, and the staff made us feel at home. Having a consistently good breakfast on-site was such a convenience. We would have loved a slightly lower price.

- My reservation was a room with King bed size, they delivered me a room with 2 single beds.
- I reached the hotel late, I did not check the terrace door. in the morning, I was surprised that the terrace door lock was damaged, and it is easily could be opened from outside (my room is in ground floor)
- I have to call the reception to ask for the basic things like dental kit, slipper, Iron or shaving kit.
