Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The reason I docked it one star are because of things outside of the control of the hotel.

The room itself was nice (though I wouldn't call it \"luxury\") and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable! There was a balcony which looked over a little side street. The aircon/heater in the room was a welcome addition!

All the staff I encountered were extremely courteous and helpful. However, they do seem to leave about 1:30ish in the afternoon. After that, there is no staff on site.

The location was excellent--steps away from the Metro station and surrounded by restaurants and shops! I traveled alone (solo female) and felt safe and secure.

It is, however, an extremely noisy area. Not the fault of the hotel at all, but something to be aware of. The double-glazed balcony doors do a great deal to dampen the sound, but there were building works happening and sirens passing all night. It did make it a bit difficult to fall asleep; however, once I was asleep, it did not wake me up. if you are a very light sleeper, however, you may want to go somewhere else.

Overall, I would recommend staying here. Enjoy!

A great location to base yourself to explore Naples. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful.

Option to store luggage after checkout was extremely helpful as our train was a few hours later.

It’s actually an apartment in the old dirty building and they renting rooms. rooms are very dark, dirty and smelly The whole area is very unsafe! When our taxi cab driver brought us to that place, he suggested that area is not safe and we might want to look for somewhere else to stay!!!

Charming bed and breakfast with large rooms that are clean and well appointed.The beds and pillows are very comfortable.Tea and coffee provided as well as a mini bar stoked with goodies at an additional fee.The air conditioning works well and large wooden doors attached to
Balcony space provides noise barrier from busy streets outside.
Close to train station and bus stops.
Close to many restaurants ,shops and a mini market.
Guido is an attentive host who keeps in touch with you via whatsapp before and during your stay making you feel very welcome and at comfort.
Highly recommend this property.

Nice hotel.

This is a good B&B. It is a little unusual, I bumped into one employee as I walked in and never saw another person afterwards. That being said their instructions to getting in were perfect and the place itself is secure. The location was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed for 3 nights and overall rooms and hotel condition is average. More importantly, the hotel advertised pictures are a bit misleading. Hotel is located in a very densely populated and old area which is very noisy and the hotel building, entrance, lifts etc are very old and dingy. Nothing like a hotel you would expect ona vacation with family. You won’t see hotel staff much but the service was good. Rooms are decent and clean. Though the place is advertised as b&b, there is no breakfast usually and if you do have one in your price, you need to go to a cafe nearby to eat. Ok for solo travelers and if you are low on budget.

Wanted to check out before checking in! Disgusting entrance with 2 sets of key pads to enter that are difficult. Rickety elevator that only takes one person and bag. Construction men running up and down stairs. No sleep, ambulances and nosy all night. Dirty curtains and walls. Mold in shower. Never saw a person at check in or out.

Advertised as B&B, but breakfast wasn't included nor was it on the premise. Toilet mechanism was broken on arrival, though they did fix it promptly. Room was tiny! Outside noisey, though that's to be expected, since the location is on a busy, convenient corner. Door and lock to the room were flimsy, though overall we felt safe. Furniture low quality but serviceable. Budget quality for a lodging that cost more than budget rates.

We were only in Naples for one night and specifically chose Dante Maison De Charme based on location and reviews. It did not disappoint. Lovely room, friendly helpful staff, excellent location in terms of proximity to dining and shopping and we stumbled on live music in the piazza about a block away. Can't wait to go back!

This was a very cute property in a not very cute area. We stayed here one night because we have to catch a flight. But the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Thank goodness the owner came down to greet us, it was a little complicated. But the boutique hotel is very nice. I did book a quadruple room, even though we were just 3, because i wanted a larger room and a proper bed for my son, not a sofa bed. I don't believe i received the room i booked. But since we were just there 16 hours, it was fine.

Guido is very nice and attentive but staff hours are very limited. Key situation needs to addressed as you can’t get out without key and if you lose key your are out of luck because no one there after 1pm to let you in…entrance needs a sign at door to find it. Construction all around entrance couldn’t find it..No balcony view because of construction, no food, no gym, no spa. Beds were cozy and rooms were clean…entry was not as it is a garage. Could be cute with some cleanup and paint…bistro seating maybe. It Is centrally located though which is nice.

Zero Charm

If you are expecting to find some charm at Dante Maison de Charme, I suggest you keep looking because you're not going to find any there. From the check-in instructions, SHOUTED at you via messenger, to the less than helpful attitude of the owner and receptionist, everything needed a lot more charm and left plenty of scope for improvement. The mouldy shower cubicle is not something you particularly look forward to, and if you let the tap run or if you flush the toilet, expect to hear an almighty rumble that will make you think that Vesuvius is erupting again. The breakfast is just about adequate, and from your room, you can hear everything happening in reception, breakfast room, etc.. On the plus side, the bed is comfortable. In summary, zero charm, plenty of bad attitude.

An amazing experience in Naples.

My daughter and I had the best time staying at Dante Madison de Charme. The guys who owned it couldn't do enough for us, they went the extra mile to make us welcome and nothing was to much trouble. They were good with advice on the surrounding areas and how to travel there. The whole place was spotlessly clean, we had a fantastic large room with double balconies and a huge bathroom, I would not hesitate to stay here again on my return to Naples. A big Thankyou to all for making us so welcome. X

Nice accommodation in a good central location for seeing the sights. Very friendly hosts, Guido and Bruno, who looked after us well and helped with places to eat, directions to various places and booking a taxi back to the airport on our last day. Very comfy beds and great shower.
If I could improve anything I'd put a large mirror on the wall in the bedroom, as the only one is in the bathroom, and I'd have some background music in the breakfast room.
Happy to recommend this accommodation to others and would stay here again.

The inside of the hotel was great. The room was very clean, the service was very nice . The area is a little crowded and didn’t feel safe to walk around a lot at night. The entrance did not look like the photos but once inside, we were pleased with the value and cleanliness of this property.

Fantastic!

We loved this hotel. It's located in an older building in Naples, but the interior has been completely renovated. You get the experience of staying in a really interesting looking place, with giant doors from the street and an old-style elevator (our two kids loved it!), but you also get an incredibly comfortable room. The breakfast was great, the air conditioning made a hot week in July totally comfortable, everyone on the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I think there are only six rooms, so it was easy to get individual attention. It's also around the corner from a Metro stop, making getting there with bags from train station very simple. The street it's on felt safe and we never heard any street noise. It's on the border of the centro storico, and every night we could walk to dinner.

I booked this hotel for a trip with my teenage son. The location was perfect for exploring Naples, restaurants and public transport connections for trips out to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum. The hotel is family-owned and we received a very friendly welcome as well as great advice about getting around, places to visit, restaurants and transport. We particularly enjoyed staying in an authentic Neapolitan building, in modern recently converted rooms.

Really comfortable bed, decent food and the guys who ran it were polite entertaining and helpful. Cheap drinks for sale. 2 minute walk from Dante station. Also lots of cheap clothes stores near by. The only slight issue was the speed of the Wi-Fi.
