It was a million dollar view. We watched as Azamara Quest came into port and it was absolutely amazing to watch the sea lions right outside our window and the fisherman coming in and out in their colorful boats. Also, breakfast was really good as was the staff.

Clean room, close to cruise port and helpful staff. Mall with restaurants right next to hotel. Uber will take you to cruise ship. Also, quaint fishing village on the beach in front of hotel. We watched 50+ sea lions feed off the fishermen cleaning fish. We really enjoyed this hotel.

The hotel is at the fishing port where there are numerous excellent fish restaurants albeit in not well-maintained surroundings. Watching the Sealions is a treat and there are many homeless but friendly dogs. The market has many stalls catering to children.

Good breakfast selection . Nicely decorated dining area , lobby could use more sitting areas for guests. Elevators only stops to a floor pressed first , it doesn’t stop in between floors to pick up causing longer wait .

From our room to the hallways going to tithe elevator and in the dining areas you see ocean views which is great . Good breakfast selection . Dining area is well- designed and modern. Hotel is connected to a mall and open market is next to it , near the cruise port .
We had the executive room and it’s on a corner room that has the city cues on one side and Oceanview on the other The room was huge but there’s so much excess space that the hotel could probably put 2 loungers instead of just one and a small table for eating if you want a room service .
The smaller room we had the night before had a safe, this room didn’t . I asked for a safe , even a portable one but they never brought one in .Only a portable AC in the room , not built - in .
The window covers were difficult to open .

It was a very unpleasant stay our room had no air-conditioning and no Internet. It doesn’t make for a great holiday. there’s nothing to do around here you’re much better just stay in Santiago and just come here if you’re going on a cruise the day of the cruise or one day before. They do not care whether you have Internet or air-conditioning. It’s not their problem. Stay away find another hotel in Santiago. Just take a Uber here the day of the cruise. It’s a dirty, dirty city.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from San Antonio port (DP World). The room we were given was very clean with a great view to the harbor. The included breakfast is not very good with limited items. The surrounding area has a lot small shops and restaurants, but it is pretty dirty. The harbor has a lot birds and sea lions for animal lovers. Overall a not bad place to stay when visiting the port or catching a cruise ship.

This was our final stay on land before embarking on a cruise out of San Antonio. And while it's a perfect location and generally good hotel, it was actually our only option.

I arranged a room with a view - it was on the 11th floor and did not disappoint. Watching the array of boats and ships working and moving throughout the bay was like watching a tilt shift video. I could have spent an entire day doing only that. Unfortunately, however, the AC did not work in our room so roaming the streets of San Antonio was a good alternative.

There was a breakfast included with our stay, but that was nothing to write home about. Hotel staff in general were not especially helpful or friendly compared to two other hotel stays in Chile. They did have sign-ups for a $10 (USD) taxi ride in the morning over to the cruise terminal, but otherwise didn't go out of their way to interact with guests.

Regarding other options in the area, there were several non hotels but they didn't offer the level of comfort of a hotel (excepting the non-functional AC). Had I been traveling alone, I most likely would not have stayed at this hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. We stayed for one night prior to a cruise. When our ship arrived late, they let us have a complimentary late checkout. They had 2 taxis offering transportation to the cruise terminal for $10 USD. The bed didn’t have much support, and wasn’t very comfortable. The room got very hot during the day because of the sun shining on the windows even though the shades were down, but it was very comfortable at night. We are at the restaurant in the hotel/casino. Decent food, nice, but slow service. There was a portable AC unit that helped if you could sit or lay in front of it.

Enjoyed a good time!

We are enjoying the ocean view of the local harbor with fishermen, shops, and sea lions. The ocean breeze is welcomed after the heat of the city. The casino has limited slot machines but they were entertaining. We entered a blackjack tourney which was enjoyable as well. There is a breakfast buffet that was delicious and also pleasing to the eye. Great stay!

Mucho ruido con el tipo de cortinas que usan. Chocan unas contra otras y no dejan dormir. El edificio suena, la estructura hace sonidos raros y da miedo que pueda colapsar.
La habitacion es grande y limpia pero no hay secador de pelo, plancha, suficientes colgadores, etc.
No hay agua en la nevera. Deberian estar equipadas y cobrar en caso de utilizarlas. Pase toda la noche sin agua que tomar y me dijeron debía bajar a buscar si queria.
La vista es bonita y entretenida. Pero como dije anteriormente la estructura del edificio suena mucho. Da miedo que pueda colapsar.

Check in took 50 minutes. 1 of 3 desk clerks spoke very limited English other two nil. Only place to eat was casino (charge to get in). Ordered , waited and hour and left with NO dinner. Ice has to be ordered thru restaurant. On first entry u notice multiple broken windows in foyer. When got into room it was 92 degrees and took 30 minutes to cool. Room was basic ,clean and bed comfortable.

This hotel was right on the waterfront in San Antonino. Every room has a fabulous view. Our room had a whole wall of floor to ceiling windows so We were able to watch the sea lions bask in the sun. The room was very modern, comfortable and clean. A very good breafkast buffet was included in the price. The hotel staff were also great. They gave us directions to the bus depot and arranged a taxi for the following day. Great service

The Only Place in Town

Looks like the only higher level hotel around and a bit overpriced as such.
Has excellent views and right by attractions of waterfront, pier, sea lion colony and fish markets.
Not an obvious approach with no signs to front door so we ended up being escorted through the casino in the basement.
Pigeons and other birds adorn the outside so there is a layer of guano all along the road outside which must be crossed to reach the lobby.
Some rooms have large pillars obscuring a third of the window views but they did move us some hours after we requested it.
Easy 10 minute walk to cruise terminal and 15 to bus station.
Strict 3pm check in policy.
Breakfast good.

The good: Every room has an ocean view, food stores and small restaurants in walking distance. The bad: Staff not very friendly and speak very little English (the doorman/security literally stood and simply watched as my daughter was struggling to get her luggage through the lobby doors and did nothing to help), nothing to see or do in the area except a casino which I didn’t visit. Ok if your waiting to board a cruise ship but not much else.

The a/c vents need cleaning desperately. The bathroom is much too dark and you feel as though you are in a cave. The shower leaks, the toilet leaks and there's mildew on the ceiling from the toilet above. Wifi only works well in the lobby. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. The view, however, is great.

Cleanliness and lack of maintenance

The walls and curtains were dirty, stained. Curtains were not working, as well. They could not be lifted. Heating also was not working. The staff at the front desk informed that they use to have the heating disconnected because they are going through Autumn and only turn it on during the winner. However, they forget that 10°C to 12°C (50 - 54F) is pretty cold for some foreigners that come from warmer countries. There is a visible lack of maintenance and care to a beautiful building and magnificent views in front of it.

Most of the staff don’t speak English. Restaurant service was unforgivable...waited 45 mins for simple food when only a handful of people in there. Then messed up bill. Only 1 elevator works. Lovely coffee pot in the room, but no coffee in our room or our friends’. Had to specifically ask. However, the rooms are clean and spacious with lovely updated bathrooms. AC works well. Better training of staff would help them out a lot!

Driving there and parking were difficult because of poor signage and closed off streets; hotel does not have its own parking but rather shares space with a very busy mall. The entrance to the hotel was blocked off so we could not drop off our luggage before parking. Check-in was difficult because they could not find our Expedia confirmation for some time. Check-out was even more difficult because they insisted on charging us again for the room, even though we had prepaid through Expedia. Since no one was on duty who spoke English and my Spanish is limited, it took a long time to get this straightened out.

Nice view of the Commercial port but....

The hotel is ok, Not a 4 stars but a 3 Stars. Looks like they are trying to improve it but it has just the basis (maybe lack of customers, funding etc). It has a coffee machine in the room but they don't provide any capsule for the coffee so they should not even have the machine in this case. Upon our arrival there was only one elevator working but it got fix the next day. Breakfast is really basic nothing to write home about it. The rooms are clean and confortable but it stops there. It is quiet at night but if someone walk in the corridor you hear every thing. The safe in the room is not even fix to anything therefore someone could pick it up and walk away with it so why have a safe in this case if it is not secured to anything? We would stay again but only for one night as the city does not have a lot to offer except many casinos.
