This was our absolute favourite of the ten places we stayed on our South Island road trip. Our room was fabulous with a spacious bedroom, bathroom, and living area/kitchenette. We had a large balcony with loungers, a table and chairs and a beautiful view plus an indoor/outdoor jet tub. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary use of the pools, hot tubs, steam room and sauna. The staff was lovely and the breakfast buffet was top notch.

This very reasonably-priced resort is the way to go if visiting this area. We had a wonderful unit, perched up the hill and loved our daily treks into town below (you can also drive, but we chose not to). An added bonus was the fitness track with various exercise stations around the property and we made sure to take advantage of the pools, the hot-tub, and the saunas. Everything is well-maintained (although the ping pong table is in need of replacing 😉). The continental breakfast is a cut above and offers whole grain breads, cheese and hard boiled eggs, plus delightful little jars of chia pudding, fantastic croissants and a selection of delicious homemade kiwi jelly, lemon curd, and even homemade chocolate and hazelnut spread. Dinner at their restaurant was likewise excellent. We had a great stay at Kimi Ora and would highly recommend it!

There were beautiful views from every part of the property. The grounds were quite extensive with tracks that were fun to walk to see the native trees. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Units were well kept, clean and well appointed.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the 4 bedroom cottage/house. It was amazing ocean views from the outdoor table! There was only 2 of us, but that was only room left when we booked, honestly, I'd book it again just for us, because it was huge and so much room to feel like we were at home, and again- views were amazing! Great little back walk down the side to the ocean from that room as well. Staff was amazing and great location to be stationed at to explore Abel Tasman! HIGHLY recommend! Wish we would have had more time there!

A piece of paradise within the paradise of Kaiteri
We had a 1 bedroom unit for two nights then needed to move to a studio up the hill for our remaining 3 nights. The staff at Kimi Ora made this move stressless and moved most of our luggage and items in the fridge for us. Great view from both units and very quiet. Good breakfast included each morning and were able to cook a little in the rooms. We only used the lovely pool area once during our stay as we were either at the beach for the day or out exploring the area. We have rebooked for next summer.

The resort was very nice, but it was NOT as advertised on Hotels.com. we bought food to cook in the room, only to find that there was no kitchen. Still, the staff were amazing and did all they could to make it work for us. Check out the resort's website before you book with anyone else. We would stay there again. Also, the view was fantastic, and the stars at night were incredible!

Loved the glow worm walk. Very low key and special experience. No one really spoke with us while we were there -- staff were friendly when we did see them but very much in the background.

Breakfast is a real treat,, a wide range of quality fresh healthy options along with a beautiful view at the dining area. The views from my rooms was very beautiful too. If you'r heading out for a day hike - I recommend ordering a packed lunch... delicious! & healthy. On my last day,, I had a suitcase to manage and needed to get to the water-taxi - and the staff arranged that I got a lift to water taxi - not a problem attitude.. sorted so quick . Kimi Ora is excellent, lots of activities to do and we love the glow worm walk. We walk there at 10pm and it was perfectly safe and fun. Walking distance to kaiteriteri beach. Their jacuzzi is nice and pool, an accommodation to be back again in the next holiday.
