The stay was great! Rooms were very clean as well as washroom. The pool was nice. Kids spent a while in there. The pillows were not great and gave me a sore neck because they were so thin, however the mattress itself was quite comfortable. I would definetly stay again or recommend to a friend. Simply bring your own pillow.

Dear Management,

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service and room conditions during my recent stay at Hampton Hill by Hilton. This is a property I regularly choose, which made this experience particularly frustrating.

First, the blanket provided in my room appeared dirty and used. I reported this immediately to the front desk associate, Muskan, who informed me that housekeeping would replace it the following morning. I explained that the blanket was not usable and that I needed a replacement right away. I was then advised to use the extra blanket in the closet; however, it was only a thin liner and not a full blanket or comforter. As a result, I felt cold throughout the night and was unable to rest comfortably.

Second, the ice machine on the 3rd floor was out of order. Prior to going to my room, I specifically asked if ice was available and was told yes. It would have been helpful and honest to mention that the ice machine on my floor was not working.

Lastly, the refrigerator in my room was in very poor condition. It did not cool at all and had no visible temperature control, making it unusable.

Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I have come to expect from Hilton properties. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve service and room maintenance for future guests.

The room was spotless. What stood out to me was the courteous professional and highly intelligent staff
, eager to help me in any way they could. I witnessed Manveep deal with a rude and obnoxious customer who blamed her for a mistake the client had made. Manveep was poised, polite and professional. Like a pro, she sucked it up and did her job with the utmost courtesy. All the staff were helpful, using their phones to look up hours of operation for stores and other businesses, sharing their local knowledge, always offering to help. The hotel is lucky to have them. I thought the hotel was brand new but a staff member told me proudly that they all work to keep it that way. Great stay, great place. Many guests in Timmins for shopping or attending Christmas parties were happy and friendly a reflection of how great a host your hotel is. The large evening gatherings of parents children friends and relatives in that large breakfast room reminded me of the warmth and love of my mother’s house. You are a successful hotel. You got it in spades. I felt at home and welcomed,

I checked in, had a shower then realized there were no towels...called front desk and was told I'd HAVE TO go down to the lobby to pick them up....completely soaked from my shower without towels?! The breakfast buffet the next morning was empty - no hot food at 8am and no coffee. Told I'd need to wait...however I was on a schedule, and not able to wait for the buffet to be stocked. The floors of the elevator were covered in food debris and spilled liquids that people had to walk over and step through or kick to the side to bring suitcases in. This mess was not cleaned up during my entire stay. Asked for a receipt when checking out and was told the printer wasn't working so I was assured I would receive an email receipt that I never received, in addition to a huge billing error. Not happy. Will stick to IHG going forward.

To be blunt, not very happy about being woken up by staff this morning
Upon check-in I was asked point blank if we were checking out the following day. I said yes and that we'd be out by 11am.
We went to a wedding. Had fun. Came home late. Went to bed even later only to be woken up at 9:30 by staff knocking on our day. We paid over $200 dollars for a place to sleep. And then you interrupt our sleep to basically rush us out.
We couldn't fall back asleep after that but it was then too late to get breakfast
So you interrupted our sleep to ask a question I had already answered the evening prior and when my husband questioned you on check out time, it was indeed not for another hour and a half.
Also, what is wrong with the pool?
When we pay for certain amenities listed on your website, we expect those to be available or shouldn't our rate have been discounted?
The room did not smell good. Very musty and sour. Hair in the sink that didn't belong to us
Overall, big price tag for what we got. Will not recommend to hockey families for this coming season.

I believe the hotel is under somewhat new management (or ownership), as I stayed at this property many times since it opened, and there were no issues. This was my second stay in 2 months, and I will not return.
Both times the room was dirty and/or things weren’t working. Both times they changed my room, and wasn’t much better.

Worst overpriced hotel experience I've had

Breakfast was good but dining room furniture looked like it came from a yard sale. First Suite I checked into smelled bad and there was a lot of damage which the front desk offered to switch rooms (bring me a key and a bottle of juice with a mini bag of Doritos as a sorry for the inconvenience lol. We proceeded to the next suite which I had paid extra for and at least the room smelled better. The sofa or love seat as you can see in the pictures was very uncomfortable. The television faces the wall across the room and must be lifted and turned to face either the sofa or the bed as it only turns about 10 degrees. Threre is a giant workstation or something that looks like a workstation in the middle of the room which serves very little purpose as it's too high for the cheap office chair. The bathroom contains a toilet and shower but the sink is in the room...again I don't understand the logic. The bathroom also had shelving which was falling down and didn't really seem to concern the front desk when I mentioned it. The king sized bed was very low quality and was very uncomfortable but don't get me started on the awful dollar store pillows that I was unable to get comfortable on. This will be the last time I stay at a Hilton as I expected an over $300 dollar experience and got a $50 dollar a night experience. Please save your money and book elsewhere.

Not the Hilton standards I was expecting.

Bathroom was not cleaned around the base of the toilet. Stained bath mat. Base of bed sounds like it’s about to fall apart every time I moved in bed…. Sounds like its broken and needs to be replaced. No creamers in the condiment for coffee in the rooms… only 1 packet of sugar and 1 packet of sugar substitute. Super small plastic laundry bag that hardly holds any clothes. Low water pressure with bathroom tap. Ran out of light roast coffee and didn’t see anyone overseeing the breakfast area to refill stations. Too much water softener in the water leaving hair greasy. Pool very slippery on stairs to get on as well as the bottom of the pool… not sure if this is also related to the water softener… very dangerous as we almost slipped coming into to the pool after stepping down from the last stair.
I’ve stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it’s definitely gone down hill since then.
Definitely not worth what they are charging per night.
Increased prices and reduced services.
They don’t clean rooms everyday anymore.
