There was no hot water for a bath at 10:00 pm but there was in the morning. That did not help me. The showerhead was grungy with buildup, and the electric receptacle looked liked there had been a short in it—— there were black burn marks on the faceplate. Also, the tv would not stay on the next morning, but had worked the night before.

It’s worth the stay

Staying at the Super8 was amazing. I don’t how many time I actually enjoyed the quietness, compassion and comforting of my room. Housekeeping was phenomenal as well anyone say otherwise is straight lying. Thanks for the amazing hospitality and comforting of my stay.

Smells like a prison cell

The hotel had bad mold smell and it smelled like someone too a piss behind or on one of the beds. There was burn holes in the covers but it was so called a non smoking room . I couldn’t even stay the whole time the room smelled so bad and they wouldn’t change the room . 0/10 don’t recommend.

I always stay here when i come to waycross. But this visit it was so loud. On the end i was on was up all night. Guest was laying loud music. Had to check out at 1030 and go to walmart parking lot amd get at least one hour of sleep

The place needs to be remodeled. The toilet stopped up; office worker came but did not completely unplug it. Very little water came out of the shower, majority of the water came out of the tub facet. The paint between the toilet and cabinet was peeling off. The bath cabinet height was so short especially being tall it was uncomfortable having to bend. The telephone cradle was terribly dirty, and the chair arm was dirty.

We arrived at 2am. Checkin went quickly. We slept. All was quiet. Comfortable sleep. Loved no housekeeping woke us early. Since got in late. Breakfast was slack, but didn't expect much anyway. Decent motel for the price and the fact we were only there few hours. Staff was also very friendly

We were evacuees during Hurricane Milton and we enjoyed our stay with out dog. We had a first floor near a door for ease of pets “bathroom breaks”. Hot waffles and cereal in the morning but sadly no hard boiled eggs.

Lack of reasonable accommodations.

The room for what it was was fairly inaccessible. I'm handicapped and wheelchair bound so having to use what was essentially a low table to get in and out of bed without hurting myself was a rough issue that I wouldn't have in most hotels. When I say started I was told that the accessible room was occupied. However, why is accessibility limited to a single room? One would think in a town full of retirees that the Super 8 by Wyndham might at least be able to accommodate someone of shortened stature who has impaired mobility. While they did a good job with cleanliness for the most part the bathroom was unclean and set up in a way that it was easy to get stuck and fall when exiting the shower. Overall my stay was marked with tight quarters, a somewhat unclean environment and an unforgettable case of carpet burn. The bed for too high, the passage to the bathroom is too narrow, and the bathroom itself was generally unclean. I would avoid staying until the price again if I had the choice.

The room was great! TV reception was brilliant! Extra large TV must have been 55 or 60" Only downside was VERY LOUD people above me. And it was listed as pet friendly on Expedia which was Wrong! But a very nice manager let me stay with my dog anyway.

The towels and wash cloths were disgusting. Stained up with huge black spots but we’re folded to not show until at the time of use. The water was a dark yellowish color the entire time of showering. Was scared to brush my teeth with the water. It was gross!!

We stay here all the time when my husband and I visit my father-in-law. This will be our 5th or so time staying here and we have never had a problem until this trip. We stayed one night. We found a few roaches in the tub and the bed wasn’t as soft as the last few times. But other than that it was a good stay.

Only fault is place smelled like POT..Why do pot smokers have to stink up places I don't understand that.

There are a bunch of workers living here they were having cook out in back parking lot. It's a cheap place to stay but the room.waa perfectly nice. Wasn't noisy or loud at all had a good night's sleep. I've stayed in Waycross before at the place across the street that's bad. This was fine.

Hotel was absolutely disgusting and a horrible experience! I called the minute I got in the room and they didn’t have no one at the front desk! I then called the hotels.com rep the next morning as I had already lugged my newborn son, and a 4 year old and our bags into this filthy room! Bathtub was disgusting, walls leaking, bedding not clean, toilet wasn’t clean it was just horrible but I had a meeting in town that next morning early so we slept in our blankets we traveled in and washed up in the sink. I requested to move hotels and they refused just offered me another room! What makes me think any other room in this ran down “hotel” was any better? Hotels.com was no help either offered me a $25 credit when I asked them to refund me and put me in a better hotel with their credit for the next 2 nights I had to be there.

Our room was absolutely filthy!! From the urine on the bathroom floor, to the disgustingly dirty bathrub to roaches crawling around. We killed 2 roaches on the counters. The room is in such disrepair and needs a serious contractor to go in and fix all the cracks and broken things in the room. The room is juat beyond dirty . NO FREE BREAKFAST OFFERED AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION! When you walk into the hotel lobby, it has such a horrible stench. Like someone is cooking with straight curry or something . Nauseating . Will NEVER stay again or recommend to anyone ever.

Check in was quick. Gentleman was friendly. Only thing I didn't care for was that you enter the rooms from the inside of the building, but there was no elevator to get to the second floor. I had to carry everything up the steps. They did have the cart so that I could get everything out of my car & into the building in one trip but then I could only get to the stairs & make trips up & down to get everything. I'm working so I had a computer bag, suitcase, cooler, handing clothes, purse. But it was ok in the long run. It didn't kill me to make 3 trips up the stairs. Guess I was just trying to be lazy. lol So far, I am happy with my choice to stay here.

Don’t waste your money

Non smoking room stunk of smoke and mildew. Linens had burns. Door had to be forced shut. Asked for fresh towels and was told it’s against policy without turning in used. Wife needed a towel for drying her hair. The parking lot was not patrolled or secure and the locals like to plunder through your belongings, going through coolers and truck beds. Don’t be a cheap ass, stay somewhere better

Older, budget property, but very nice/friendly/helpful staff and surprisingly very comfortable bed. No breakfast (not even coffee). No cups in the room, but they gave us some on request. Only bathroom amenities 2 tiny soaps and a tiny lotion, plus towels, so bring your shampoo. Bathroom had a little dust and rust, but did not feel unclean, though bathroom door didn’t fully close. Had a decent hair dryer. Room also had a microwave and fridge, no coffee maker.
Bottom line, it wasn’t the Ritz, but that’s not to be expected for the price. It was exactly what it should be - a place to get a good sleep. The friendly staff and comfy bed were a big plus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a budget-but-decent hotel.
