Overall the stay was very good. The rooms were clean and large and for the price , very very good value. The reception staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was also good value. One minor issue was that you need to get a badge to access the car park, which is only available at check in - I found it a bit difficult to park nearby before checking in and then have to move the car later.

Great value in heart of Besançon!

Stayed here for an overnight stop. Arrived after reception had shut but access was easy via the instructions sent in advance. Room / apartment was spacious, clean and comfy. Location was exceptional and the reception were very helpful the following morning.

What a lovely city. The hotel is quite basic. Kitchen has a couple of hobs and a microwave so basic cooking can be done. When we arrived the TV and the air conditioning were broken. We did get a new TV but the heat in the night was overpowering. If you want a quick one night stop then I would say its ok but I wouldn't do more than one night.

Hotel was good not too noisy and the price decent for the family of 4. Only issue was the heat wave that had repercussion on the room temperature (without air conditioning), but finally the night was not bad even with the windows opened.
The extra bed was done with the sofa so not the best comfort but the kids did not seem to suffer.

Self catering so dont expect too much luxury. Bed linen and towels changed only once a week. We stayed 6 nights and by the end you could have done with fresh towels and linen. Apart from that it was a cozy stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good location to town centre and the new tram. Nice walks around the citadel

I would not recommend this hotel. The ventilation is poor, it seems like the same stale cooking odors are being transferred to all the rooms. There are no screens and the misquitos attached us at night. The tile floors were dirty, items were missing from the kitchen. The bed is old and sagging towards the middle. The hotel is in a nice location, however the supermarket is a long distance away. The staff were nice.

value for money in a very pleasant town/city

easy to find from the north - convenient car park under the hotel, which considering it was 35 degrees, was most useful. 2 adults and 2 large teenagers fond plenty of room to spread out.

I was quite disapointed with the hotel when we go there at around 8PM we found out that we should have reserveed the underground parking and got a beeper so we had a fun time reversing to back out of it since we couldnt get in. Moreover the biggest down side for us is we reserved a room for 2 adults and 2 children, and we got a room with 2 individual bed in the master and the coach turned into a bed. VERY DISAPOINTING:

Don't bother. There are much better budget options.

OK, it's cheap, but that's pretty much all this place has going for it.

The room I stayed in, a \"Superior Studio\", was far from superior. You get a double bed, a small flat-screen telly, wired internet access with the socket positioned next to the bed but the only free power socket on the other side of the room (so that you end up with cables trailing everywhere).

The tiled floor is incredibly cold underfoot, meaning that you have to wear shoes all the time; the kitchenette is missing useful things like a kettle and washing-up liquid (if you don't wash up anything you use, they'll charge you the 30 EUR cleaning fee), you get one tiny soap and shower gel (any more is charged for at 5 EUR, so bring your own), and you're required to take any rubbish to their bins in the bowels of the hotel, with the prospect of that 30 EUR cleaning fee if you don't.

The hotel is situated opposite Besancon's main fire station, with all that implies.

If the location is important to you, stump up an extra 20 EUR a night for the Ibis a hundred yards away; if it's the price, there's an Etap opposite the main railway station which is roughly the same price and is much higher quality!

We stayed in the Citea Besancon for 7 days. It is ideally situated near the town centre, only about 7 minutes walk from the old town but far enough out for a quick exit if you intend to tour around. We were given fresh towels every day and the room was kept clean and tidy. If you are intending to arrive by car I would recommend using the underground car park under the hotel. It is worth the expense as the nearest car park otherwise is about 4 minutes walk from the hotel. The one thing against this hotel is if you intend to go there to self-cater. There is no work surface, and the cooker is directly next to the sink and draining board which makes it incredibly difficult. It is fine if you need the facilities for boiling water for drinks etc but difficult for much else.

L insonorisation est pas superbe surtout quand un enfant qui vourt toute la nuit se situe au dessus. Et un homme eternue souvent a côté. Mais l equipement est bon.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht so, wie wir es auf der Seite von hotels.com gebucht haben, - die Fotos sind falsch, beim Studio superieur sind Bilder vom Appartement. Zum Glück konnten wir wechseln.
Die Garage ist nur 1.9m hoch, sollte im Hotelbeschrieb stehen, wenn man eine Dachbox oder Ähnliches hat, oder ein hoher Wagen, kommt man nicht rein.

Le nom de l'hôtel n'apparaît pas sur la façade. La rue étant à sens unique, j'ai du tourner trois fois avant de me garer tant bien que mal pour aller me renseigner à ... l'Ibis voisin. Au moins, là, il y a avait quelqu'un à l'accueil qui a pu me renseigner gentiment. Personne à l'accueil de l'autre côté par contre, mais un magnifique volet clos parce que, à force de tourner, il était 20h10 quand je suis arrivé et que l'accueil était fermé. Pour quelques euros de plus, je sais où j'irai la prochaine fois.

Le nom de hôtel marqué différemment

J'avais compris que le nom de l'hôtel était « Comfort La City » et j'avais vérifié l'adresse, mais à l'entrée, il était indiqué « Zentitude », ce qui m'a fait croire qu'il s'agissait d'un autre hôtel. Le nom « La City » est également utilisé par l'hôtel Ibis situé à côté, ce qui m'a presque fait entrer dans leur parking. L'entrée du parking de l'hôtel Comfort était également difficile à trouver. On m'a expliqué que le nom de l'hôtel était en cours de changement de Zentitude à Comfort, ce que je comprends, mais pour le confort des clients, il serait souhaitable de faire ce changement rapidement.
L'hôtel ne dispose pas de climatisation. Il faut se contenter d’un ventilateur, ce qui rend les journées chaudes difficiles à supporter. Heureusement, à partir du deuxième jour, la température a baissé, ce qui a permis de mieux supporter le séjour.

Chambre très spacieuse, petite douche, petite kitchenette parfait pour quelques jours. Le personnel est très très agréable, la chambre parfaitement propre, bonne literie et lit très spacieux. Le seul petit point négatif, pas de clim donc très chaud dans l'appart Hôtel. Laverie au sein de l'etablissement. Parking payant en dessous de l'hôtel, très pratique d'accès.

Une nuit de repos pour continuer notre route

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette appart hôtel afin de faire une petite visite de la ville. L’hôtel est très bien situé pour se rendre au centre-ville, sur les berges du Doubs ou même visiter la citadelle. Il y a toutes les commodités pour un 3 étoiles. Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée, et nous n’avons pas été dérangé. Nous ne pouvons que recommander. Ah oui j’oubliais, il est aussi très facile de stationner, il n’est même pas nécessaire de prendre une place de stationnement avec l’hôtel (11/07/25).

Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matratze war total durchgelegen. Die Anordnung der Toilette ist nur für Personen unter 150cm Körpergrösse angenehm, grösser gewachsene Menschen haben Mühe normal Platz nehmen zu können.
Nur zu Sonderpreisen buchen und und sich aufgrund des guten Preises freuen.
Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Apparthotel situé à proximité de vieille ville dont la forteresse ( 30 minutes) d’un tarif tout à fait abordable.
La partie chambre et la salle d’eau sont assez petites, surtout l’accessibilité à la douche.
Le lit est grand et confortable.
Le parking gratuit sur place se joue à la chance! Il n’y a que 6 places et 2 PMR. Sinon il y a le payant en sous-sol😉

Lejligheden var en fin størrelse og udemærket senge.
Der var dog frygtelig varmt, og ingen mulighed for at nedkøle lejligheden, på nær en gulvventilator.
Der bliver røget meget ved indgangen til hotellet, så der kom virkelig meget røg ind i lejligheden hvis vi åbnede til altanen.
Der var heller ikke super rent - men heller ikke voldsomt beskidt.
