The staff was amazing, so kind and detail oriented. Everything was always clean. The service was quick. We were happy to have stayed at the coral part of the resort as it was less busy but still had activities throughout the day. We also had full access to the family side by staying in the coral part which was nice for certain activities and the nightly shows. To note, the $400 offered for $$ activities(like cabanas, the spa, golf, etc.) from Expedia cannot all be used at once and was given to us in $25 increments for each activity booked. We definitely did not use it all. Other than that the resort was phenomenal, we would stay there again!

Amazing place! We stayed at the coral section (adults only) and let me tell you the views from our room were incredible! We stayed in a corner unit on a high floor and wow! However every room in that section will offer you the same. All oceanfront balconies practically sitting over the beach. The hot tub on the balcony facing the ocean was also amazing!

The property grounds were immaculate and they groom the beach every morning cleaning it of any seaweed. The beach was awesome and had plenty of chairs and huts to spend the day there if that is your choice. Just get there around 7am if you want to stake your choice of chairs or gazebo. The ocean water itself was turquoise color and pleasantly warm although the surf on a couple of days did produce nasty rip currents and an overwhelming amount of seaweed in the water and along the beach after they had already groomed it. It’s nothing they can do about it since it seemed to coincide with high winds and weather. The first half of our stay however the water was very nice free of seaweed and a very nice and smooth ocean floor without the strong riptides. The sand was sugary soft. Overall I would give the beach an 8 out of 10.

The coral section infinity pool is where we spent most of our days and it was spectacular! Plenty of sun loungers and the waiters were awesome! The activities staff at the pool keep it fun all day with activities and games throughout the day with a dj playing music in the background. Swim up bar awesome

We returned to Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun because we truly enjoyed our one-week stay two years ago; however, this visit may be our last. Despite booking six months in advance and requesting a king bed for our anniversary, we were initially assigned a double queen room and asked to pay extra for a king bed on a higher floor. We spent the first night in a king room on the first floor above the lobby, which was noisy and poorly maintained. The shower faucet was covered in rust, and there was noticeable nighttime noise, possibly from nearby guests or operations below.

We then paid to upgrade to a corner room the rest of our stay, which offered a beautiful view, but maintenance issues persisted. Both curtains had fallen off the track and could not fully close, and the coffee machine was leaking water. In addition, service at the à la carte restaurant in the adults-only building was very slow—we waited about 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order, not even offering a glass of water. As a result, we avoided the à la carte restaurant for the rest of our stay and only dined there on buffet nights. Overall, this experience did not meet the standard of our previous visit.

I believe the room they gave us was a room that wasn’t used in a long time the mirrors where so damage I couldn’t even see myself the shower had rust stains on the tile , the water ran rust got the first few minutes we were across from the employee’s stocking room , the hallway carports were so stained I thought I was in a 2 star hotel very disappointed, the food was appalling I got sick the second day , drinks were not first class not much of a selection other than slushy drinks , not very good service no beach service , couldn’t get into any of the restaurants can’t make redos , the NYE party was horrible you had to buy a table to sit at to listen to a DJ , no entertainment, party was out door on the grass couldn’t dress and dance full of families we were staying in the Corel adult only , will never go back , the only thing we enjoyed was the beach and the view other than that was horrible disappointed, not worth the price we paid would not recommend it .

Only had Chardonnay, when asked for Sauvignon blanc or Pinot Grigio either just said no sorry or had to go looking for a very long time, my meal was over by the time they got back.
But you could buy a bottle for a high price which didn’t seem right after what it cost to stay there

This is our second time staying here and we were not disappointed! Every room has a beautiful view, and the all-inclusive has great food and drink options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s not an overly young or old crowd and there are lots of activity options on the property. Our favorite part is floating in the pool while watching the ocean ❤️
My only comment is that some parts of the hotel are showing a little wear (hallway carpets for example.)

My honest take on this hotel is the cleanliness of the room and property, the beach view, the balcony, and the incredible staff is that it all made me and my wife stay there feel like a beautiful dream. It felt like a vacation from the time we arrived and all hotels/resorts can’t give off that feeling but Iberostar selection coral Cancún really set the standard for a great vacation experience!!!! The staff even decorated the bed for for my wife’s birthday. 5⭐️ And 10 or higher rating from my personal experience.

Staff was rude, especially after we refused a timeshare presentation. The property isn’t kept up, no quality control on food. My partner got food poisoning from property’s food and had to pay $550 US dollars for medical attention and property said that’s not their problem.
The wifi didn’t work and was told to “deal with it” room service took over 1.5hrs to arrive. They up charge medication ridiculously, something that normally costs $11 was being sold for $57. Restaurant schedules are inconsistent and do not match their app (which you’re told to use for nearly everything on the property). The water in bedroom shower comes out yellow at first. The tub didn’t work. There were just way too many discrepancies in quality and service for what they charge.

If you stay at this resort choose the coral reef all adults only Panoramic view. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Also in the adults only the drink are high quality (top of the line) vs staying in the family side. If you looking for a lot of activities or party activities right on the resort this is not the resort for you. It’s more laid back and quiet. Beach is nice and is swimmable.

Every room in the Coral building has a perfect view. We were very happy with the service and overall experience. The elevator is quite slow. The night life is also slow, possibly due to older clientele. The activities staff tried their best to liven things up, with mixed results. Perfect spot for a quiet, pampered stay.

Loved the A La Carte restaurants' menu and the buffet menu was pretty good too! Also love the view, pool, beach, numerous activities and them being all-inclusive! The housekeeping, room service, and everything are worth 5 stars. I would say the teppanyaki restaurant fell short of expectations and food was quite bland in my opinion. But overall 5 out of 5 stars experience and would highly recommend this hotel!!
