Our stay at Furaveri Maldives was absolutely unforgettable. From the crystal-clear waters to the peaceful island vibes, everything was perfect. The villas were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The food was truly amazing — Chef Jitendra prepared delicious and tasty meals every time. A special thanks to Bala from the F&B team for his excellent service, Tammana, our island host, for taking great care of us throughout our stay, and Manan from housekeeping for keeping our villa spotless and well maintained.

A true paradise and highly recommended! 🌴✨

We stayed at Furaveri in an Ocean Pool Villa (160 sqm over the water with private swimming pool). We are a family of 4 with 2 children (7 and 14), it is not our first trip to Maldives. This time, it was a 8 days stay in October 2025.
The property is very nice, there are 5 restaurants including the main buffet. We had a premium all inclusive plan.
The food was good in all the restaurants we tried. We found out that not all restaurants are part of the all inclusive package, the seafood restaurant is not part of the plan and the prices are on the upper scale, probably 100$ pp for a 3 dish order.
The amenities include a spa, nice but not exceptional, and there too, the all inclusive package gives only limited benefit (30$ discount on a few treatments), average massages were 150$ for the cheapest ones... Access to the shower/steam bath/sauna is also for a fee (about 60$…). The gym is under-equipped and not well designed, but still has the minimum equipment, it gets too crowded with 3-4 guests working out at the same time…
Although most of the food is good, the buffet is mostly similar every day. Children do not have free access to the regular menu in 4 out of 5 restaurants, they only get the kids menu, with chicken nuggets, pasta etc, very standard dishes, not suitable, and not copious enough for a teenager. If they want regular food in another restaurant than the main buffet, it is the “à la carte menu” with “regular” (expensive) prices, even if you have the all inclusive package

Really enjoyed having our honeymoon here. Although would have appreciated better transparency on the premium package that we got. Even though it says all meals and drinks included, each Resturaunt had a set “section” for what we can order as opposed to the whole menu being a part of our package. And it was the same thing with the drinks! Every bar there only had a specific set of drinks you can order that were a part of your premium package. It sucks how that if you want to order a drink off of their little drink menu, it costs extra. Kinda stupid honestly

We had a fantastic stay at Furaveri Hotel for our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday. The transfer from the airport to the resort was smooth, and the lounge at the seaplane terminal made the wait comfortable.

Our room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon, and they delayed the cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which was a thoughtful touch. While we didn’t get an upgrade as Expedia Gold members, the hotel allowed us a late checkout, which we appreciated.

Travelers should be cautious about adjusting to new food, as my wife got sick during the first days. However, the staff kindly rescheduled a missed meal for our last day.

The resort is large, and buggies are available, though they may run less frequently in the evening. One suggestion would be to clarify the food and drink packages (too many packages with different inclusions) as they were a bit confusing.

A special thanks to Dhaadh, who made our stay unforgettable.

We stayed for 5 nights, 2 in water villa and 3 in villa with pool by the beach. We bought the full board which doesn’t include minibar, sodas beer or alcohol, so they offered the next package that includes this items but the brands on beer and alcohol that they offer is the worst Ive ever had in a all inclusive and it’s not cheap.
As well they have 4 or 5 different restaurants but only if you have the upgraded package you’ll be able to get lunch or dinner on this different restaurants, if it’s the full board it’s only on one restaurant.
The staff are very friendly and service is good but I wouldn’t book again in this hotel as you end up paying much more than expected because of the full board being not what should be.

1) Pre-arrival
after booking, the reception team (Moshi, Sumali) communicate with you, arrange the seaplane, and any other activity you want to book in advance.

2) Hospitality
this is their key for giving a special feeling to guest, everyone is welcoming with genuine smiles and attention. starting from the airport and lounge (Mufed and Sheena), to the arrival welcoming arrangement, and full assistance with the check-in and other services (Mae). and with everyone you deal.

3) Food
JAAFAIY is one of the best buffets we ever visited, every night different cuisine, and you can always find something inline with your taste. the Chef (Mustafa) is always checking on guests to make sure they are satisfied and if they wanted anything.

4) Buggy Drivers
they are all like tourist guides, talking very nice and making you to know about the Maldives and the resort.

5) Entertainment
i liked how the entertainment team is interacting with guests, Zezo and Ahmad were literally doing the whole show back stage and on stage. the fire show is exceptional.

6) The stay
villas are very clean, neat, and well-designed.
we got the beach pool villa 629, the most private of it's category but in the same time has the widest ocean view.

Note: mentioned names are only what i came to recognise. all others are wonderful.

This place is absolutely amazing! I can not recommend it enough. My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon here and it was more than I could have imagined. The resort staff works so hard and goes out of their way to make your stay wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere that the staff was so amazing. They remember you and truly want to make your stay great. They felt more like friends by the time we left. The entire island is the resort and can be walked in about 15 minutes. There are no cars but they have buggy’s that will pick you up and take you anywhere you want to go. We were very pleased with all the food as well. While there we had a private sunset, candle lit dinner on the beach (the food was wonderful), took a jet ski tour and saw a pod of hundreds of dolphins, snorkeled with turtles on the reef and rode ski bobs. There was so much to do and it really is the best location for a honeymoon. We almost felt as we had the island to ourselves. Highly recommended! Already planning our next trip!

Breathtakingly beautiful & modern resort where careful attention has been paid to ensuring guests are pampered. This secluded, serene and sumptuous resort feels like the Garden of Eden. There are tons of fun things to do in addition to water sports; there are delicious food options and an on-site herb & vegetable garden for fresh \"farm-to-table\" dining. The resort is quiet and safe which is great for early morning and late night walks. But there's also a convenient buggy service that continuously runs around the island or is available on-call within minutes. The friendly, attentive staff treats you both like royalty & like family. Your wish is their command! The crown jewel of this island is the Wellness Center with a full service spa, relaxation services and a gym. Hands down, the Furaveri wellness center and staff surpass many of the 5 star resort spas I've visited around the world. Please book with Ayu Ariani - her sound therapy sessions, facials, mindfulness techniques and massage therapies were medicine for my mind, body and soul. Her skill as an esthetician, sound healer and spa therapist was rivaled only by her genuine compassion. She cares deeply, she's a wealth of information about natural healing and stress elimination modalities; and, she she is dedicated to the long term well being of all her clients (mind, body, spirit). Definitely ask about the fresh herbal teas made with ingredients grown right on Furaveri island.

I cannot recommend Furaveri enough!!! This was the ultimate best vacation. We went for our honeymoon and stayed in the water villas and the entire island was beautiful. We had the lovely help of Aanis all week who was attentive and literally answered every question we had! It was so easy to communicate with him through WhatsApp to get everything we needed. Special shout-out to the most fantastic “bombastic” server - Rishab!!! He was absolutely the best staff on the island - he remembered exactly what we wanted to drink and also our food preferences. To top it all off, all the of the food was amazing. Usually, when we go on all inclusive trips, we don’t expect the food to be that great but all of the meals were so good!!! And besides Rishab & Aanis, all of the other staff were also amazing. Wish to come back one day. This was our dream trip and wouldn’t have changed a single thing!!!

I can’t find any negative comment on any aspect. Simply amazing vacation. Everything, literally everything was more than perfect.
We booked the beach pool villa all inclusive package. I’ll definitely come back to the same resort, won’t even think of changing. Activities are excluded from the package like (spa, room service, jet ski...) which is normal.
I wonder how people may not quote the place 10/10.

Great stay here during Thanksgiving break. The sunset ocean villa was by far one of the best options after looking through multiple resorts. The space and accommodations of this room tops by far all others in the same price point. The resorts set up, staff, and facilities were all 5 star. My only thing for next time would be an adults only resort as the time and money spent at a location as this you want to enjoy without the hassle of kids running/crying around.

Some of the night activities I feel could be more day events ( crab race ), as for adults dancing and enjoying music is more of a night activity.

All in all a great stay in a great location.

We were initially nervous about what it takes to get to the resort (sea plane/finding how to specifically get there from the main airport) but from the second we landed the staff met us, guided us and made us feel so taken care of. Not a 5 star resort. Only 2 restaurants. One buffet which served the same if not similar food for the 8 nights we were there. They advised that we get one night to eat at the other restaurant but you get to eat the all inclusive menu which is poor quality. Food poor quality for all inclusive. The only good thing about the resort is the rooms which is spacious.

Our stay at furaveri was the most relaxing and beautiful vacation I’ve ever been in. We stayed in the Ocean pool villa for our stay without the sunset view. At first we were not sure if we would be sad that we didn’t get the sunset view, but as the sun rose in front of us, it meant we had sun all morning and well into the afternoon then got some relief from the sun in the later afternoon. Besides that the sunset is always visible from tons of other places on the island. I recommend walking the beach at this time as it’s gorgeous.

Speaking of the island, it’s absolutely stunning as all of the Maldives is and had a great house reef that didn’t disappoint. You will recognize a lot of fish that you often see on television.

The villa was more than we could have ever asked for. Simple, elegant and comfortable. I’d recommend the ocean pool villa if you can go up to the pool version of the over water villa. The privacy and view was incredible.

Special thanks to Zaajee, Jau, Miryana at Jaifaiy, Krishna at the bar and Michal who we met and connected with a few times at meals as well as at the wine pairing dinner (highly recommend if it’s available during your stay), and the sommelier who was there was amazing as well.

Finally the couples massage was amazingly relaxing and well worth what we paid.

Overall, unforgettable experience where you could do as much or as little as you felt fit. We picked a great mixture of fun activities and just simply relaxing at the villa!

The most memorable trip I’ve ever been on. Well worth the long flight. We stayed in the ocean pool villa and absolutely loved it. If you can get a pool villa for your stay definitely do it. Our main goal was to get an ocean villa but the pool villa wasn’t much more money and well worth it to swim at night with the moon reflecting over the ocean and pool.

The villa was immaculate, clean and spacious way more room than one would ever need.

The whole stay was incredible. Check in was simple and fast, our room was ready early and they gave us a quick tour of the island before showing us our villa.

I can’t begin to explain how amazing our stay was but I have some recommendations. If the wine pairing dinner is an option while you are there, do it. The food was incredible and learning a bit about the wines is fun, they restaurant is pretty too.

Special thanks to Naajee, mariyam, And Jau at Jaifaiy for being super kind and attentive, thank you to Krishna at the bar and to Michal for checking in on us whenever we crossed paths.

The couples massage/facial was amazing I felt amazing afterwards and wish I remembered the names of the two women who took care of us. One may be Hany

Definitely check out snorkelling it was gorgeous right outside the water sports centre, lots of fish and coral and super affordable.

Sunsets were the most amazing I’ve seen.

The staff were beyond kind, even the groundskeepers we’re nice and always greeted us as we passed by.

Birthday trip for my girlfriend. As of July 2021 this island was amazing. Our room exceeded our expectations and the customer service from everyone on the island was beyond immaculate. Looking for a place to make her happy and celebrate love this is definitely it. Make sure you do bring your bug spray though because the mosquitoes are active sometimes. Especially if you used scented products. Make sure you make your way to the wellness village and get a massage as well. Worth every penny. As a kid from Chicago this island provided everything I needed for a peaceful romantic getaway.

Staff - dining staff were all great. They were attentive and genuinely cared.

Food - This was my biggest let down. Food was ok for a 3 star resort at best. Definitely subpar for a 5 star resort. It was a mix of hit or miss and even then, the hit didnt meet up to a 5 star.

Room - i had the sunset ocean villa with pool and that was the highlight of my trip. I rarely wanted to leave the room. All i wanted to do was spend time in the patio area taking in the absolutely gorgeous view.

Water sports - didn't do mucj but i was surprised they didnt have snorkel trips. Felt weird to be in the maldives and not go on a snorkeling trip.

Tours - took the sunset dolphin cruise and although we didnt see any dolphins, which isnt their fault, it was a nice cruise nonetheless. The fishing trip was a hit! I caught a fish and had it prepared for me for dinner the next day.

Overall, it was a nice stay but this resort isnt a 5 star resort. However, i just wanted to rest and relax and it met that expectation of that less the hiccups.

this place was a whole lots of disappointments. The staff communication is non existent and we had to ask for the same very simple tasks multiple time for them to not be fulfilled. The location is beautiful and relaxing, however; we found ourselves constantly being worried and concerned about thing we should be concerned about due to the hotel’s SHADY BUSINESS. Here are the lists of the concern.

- they couldn’t check us in in time(2pm) after 30h flight from LA & did not even offer another room for a temporary rest.
- they lied and said that the shower being broken was the reason for the delay but it was working fine
- even with the check in delay, the room was half cleaned & they were spots on the windows and mirrors
- low quality blue colored body wash & hand soap that leaves your skin itchy and dry right away
- NO hair conditioner was provided
- hard to get transport within the property even after requesting it 30mins in advance they still drove pass us
- they the simple lemon wedges for my water in the room would cost $4
- water in the room is free but $3 at the restaurant and we couldn’t even take the remaining water back to the room due to their policy
- they would try to confuse you with your bills by showing the added total for us to pay more! (make sure you ask for detailed list)
- they do not refund for unprovided services if you miss your spa appointment or restaurant reservation or even for your food at buffet

Great island with even better staff! The manager Michael is always around and checking in on guest to make sure your experience is great! The bartenders Kumar and Krishna are great! These guys are very friendly and make sure you have a great time at the bar. They really made these 10 days a great experience from fire shots to showing us card tricks. The water sports guys really go above and beyond when they take you out on different excursions.

Beautiful island - worst service ever experienced

This review is very split: I can't say more about the physical appearance of the island itself and the property; however, the service almost ruins all of this. I read numerous complaints about the services on reviews boards about this place so I braced myself, but I could not imagine it would be this bad.

The positive:
The house reef was unbelievably abundant, full of hundreds of types of fish, and incredible! The rooms (we stayed in two) were beautifully appointed and designed. The food was high quality and very tasty. Cocktails were delicious (but beware that since service is incredibly slow/understaffed, you will wait upwards of 20-30 mins for a cocktail).

The negative (more like disastrous):
I do not know where to begin. My husband and I tried to make light of the situation and place \"bets\" between the two of us betting that it can't get worse, but it actually did over the course of our stay resulting in a horrible ending that left us roomless and dragging our own suitcases in the 90-degree sun and heat across the sand to various points in a five-star resort for two hours.

The staff consisted of hard-working and kind individuals, but unfortunately, this gorgeous resort lacks any sort of coordination, accountability and is being frankly ruined due to the lack of proper management. Our approach was to minimize requesting anything and avoiding any contact with staff as much as possible because each time just resulted in utter failure. This is NOT how it should be.

We stayed at Furaveri for 6 nights for our anniversary and we liked the experience very much, there is ups and downs for this resort but overall it’s amazing. We booked a beach villa with the premium all inclusive package and we were in for a surprise. We get a Mini bar fully stocked with soft drinks and beers and miniatures sprits and on request a daily limit of three bottles of wine( rose, red, white) all medium quality wines that we enjoyed. The rooms them self are of good quality and the beach is amazing they have the old villas from 101 to 140 and the other side is the new ones. The amenities in the room sometimes are missing and that’s were the bad service comes on for example soup was missing one day and the next was towels they only provided one and it was a constant calls to reception to provide them which they do but it’s a five star hotel I don’t have to do that. The restaurant is very good food is amazing and drinks and cocktails all provided you will be happy with the selection, the bar is also amazing you have snacks on order all day drinks are very good with the bar man very polite, they have entertainment at night for us it was a Maldivian night and some local singer otherwise it will be just playing must. The beach and around the resort is very nice you can snorkel and see so mush fish we saw stingrays and mantas they have fish feeding everyday it’s nice to watch. Overall it was a very nice experience.

The staff here was amazing! We felt welcomed the entire time and staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We booked the all inclusive option, which apparently was new, and so it was very confusing as to what was chargeable and what was included. Once we sat down and talked it out with a staff member, it was easy but it was definitely different than any other all inclusive hotels we have been to. Would absolutely recommend this resort! Work with Ina (water sports), Afra (front desk), and Jesha (bar)!

I stayed in a beach pool villa by the sea. The villa was amazing. Everything was beautiful. I had the full board package and what I did not like was the fact that I had to pay for water during the meal courses. They consider water part of other braverages and alcohol. They do not have much evening entartainement. They had a couple of so called \"live misic\" with one person playing the guitar, but not a proper set up for dancing nights to have some fun.

My wife and I stayed at this resort for our Honeymoon. We could not have picked a better location and hotel. The staff went above and beyond what is expected. They are so friendly and welcoming and by the end of the trip we knew them by first name basis. The island is stunning with so many things to do. The lagoon and house reef is full of fish and there is even a resident Turtle. Food was delicious and we were never left wanting anything. We will definitely be returning and can't wait!! Highly recommended.

When we arrived in Male we were taken care of by a Furaveri employee who handled everything from our boarding passes for the seaplane to our luggage. The one hour seaplane ride to the resort was so spectacular and scenic, we highly reccomend. We arrived in beautiful Furaveri and were welcomed by the most friendly staff, live music, drinks and beautiful scenery. The staff here pay a lot of attention to detail. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The pool was cleaned daily, room was restocked every morning and the rooms cleaned twice a day. The gentleman Robin who maintained our room for 10 days, is one of the sweetest most hardworking people we’ve ever met. He exceeded our expectations in every way and went out of his way to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Severa, Eva, Iqbal, Alisha, Him, Zuhair, Dalim and Safeer are also some of the few amazing people my fiancé and I had the pleasure of meeting. We can’t wait to see you all again! The food is exceptional, rooms and ammentities are top knotch and the ocean unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Thank you all for having us at your beautiful resort! Until next time..

It is the best place to stay, clean property and excellent customer service I would like to give them 200 over 100. Because it is amazing words can not express how the staff make your stay unforgettable. I would like to than especially nichan ( I might not write his name correctly) who was in charge in reception night of 22 to 23 January who made effort to handle my issue with airlines transporter from island to male. Also we had one from staff waiting for us at the airport to help us to Check in and walk us to customs. I would like to thank everyone from the property to make our dream vacation. Food, service and property are great.
It is worth it every penny you spend over this place

Very nice resort. The Staff are Amazing, friendly and helpful. beautiful scenery with excellent facilities. we stayed 5 nights, went to Snorkeling, Sunset Cruise, Dolphin Cruise, jet skiing, all pretty fun. Great Snorkeling guide i have to say. besides, the spa&massage are just perfect for relaxing. definitely recommend my friends to come
