I don't understand the high rating considering some weaknesses.There is no black tea available at breakfast ( only coffee). During my five nights stay the bed was not made once. One day i had to leave early but I could not get even a slice of bread because it was before the official breakfast time. The buffet was already nearly done. The staff is not helpful.

The location and view is amazing. But the cleanliness is quite unsatisfied; we stayed for 7 nights but they don’t change the bed sheets until you request, that red spot I noticed has taken picture(below) on day 1 and day 3. And then I found some hairs on the towel, and some old clothes from previous guest inside the locker(which my dad took it out). The service is pretty nice but there are a lot of things we asked that either they don’t understand or they don’t have, especially they can’t control the AC since it’s central system and they have heat floor, so it was hot for us to sleep at night, we asked if we could turn off the heat or anything helps to reduce the heat, but they didn’t really do much… So in general it was just okay, I mean the staffs are nice just hard to communicate in english, and the cleanliness was the biggest issue to me.

The hotel staff was amazing. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful in every way.

We loved the hotels location and the room was comfortable.

The only issue was the bathroom was not fully cleaned. There was mold in the shower and on the walls.

Overall, enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

A bit disappointing

For a 4-star hotel, it was a bit disappointing. I stayed on the second floor and the room was very spacious. View of the ocean was also great. However, the bathroom was disappointing. Shower consisted of walk-in shower with the shower head mounted about 4 feet high, making it difficult to use as a standing shower. The shower door also did not close all the way, allowing water to overflow onto the rest of the bathroom floor every time I showered. Compared to how nice and beautiful both the lobby and elevators were, I had wished they would have spent a bit more attention to detail to the individual rooms the guests will be actually staying in. Overall, the quality of my stay was okay.

Good but heed caution

Not a bad hotel but a lot of things such as how pool access was exclusive to certain rooms was not explained well, leaving us feeling like we got ripped off in a lot of instances. On top of that, Aewol is far from a lot of places and the closest bus stop is 15 minutes away by walking, which doesn’t sound too bad until you actually have to walk that distance uphill in the Jeju sun. Nice hotel, but I wouldn’t stay there again unless I had a car and splurged for a more premium room. Other than that, rooms were very nice, the restaurant is fantastic, and it’s a good hotel overall.

Even though the room was well cleaned, the property was old and it had dirty marks on the curtains and walls. The pool water was filthy so we couldn't swim in it at all. There was the sound of water coming down in the pipes which kept me up all night. It wasn't worth the money I paid....

Have gotten the worst hotel service during our stay especially from the middle aged guy who was at the front desk (seemingly doing his overnight shift). We just asked for the heating to be controlled and some chopsticks but he gave us the workst look and had full of degrading attitude

No frills, value for money. Got the ocean view suite with 2 bedrooms and it is comfortable for family of four. The room was clean and equipped with basic essential items. However, the heater in the toilets did not seem to work well and can be chilly when taking shower. Nice to have an outdoor jacuzzi pool at the rooftop but is impossible to use it during the winter. Location was great and it has ample parking space for drivers. Many local restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby the hotel.

Charmingly remote w/public transportation access

Charmingly remote with bus access. It's a \"tourist hotel\" but friendly front desk staff speaks very little English and can't offer much assistance.
Ocean view rooms are substantially larger and worth the extra expense; mountain view rooms look out towards housing and open lots.
Not knowing an international driver's license is required, I had to cancel our car rental from the airport. It's about 13100 won from airport to hotel and would recommend this until you get used to bus system. Took a couple of days to figure various access routes to main road, bus numbers, where bus stops are located etc. Fastest route to bus stop is to go thru south parking lot of hotel

Local restaurants are within walking distance. About 600m south of the hotel is a CVS convenient store and a fairly popular Korean BBQ restaurant that isn't like other ma and pa restaurants within walking distance. The road thru parking lot on the south side of the hotel also leads to the road next to BBQ restaurant. This road also leads to Jeomgam bus stop. It's about 1200 won to get to the jeJu bus terminal to the north and 4000 won for the express bus (no. 102) to the south; you'll need to take bus 202 to aweloi to transfer to the 102 express bus. At the jeju bus terminal take bus 201 to Hallan for great hiking. Ticket booth at bus station offers help in English. Otherwise, English is pretty sparsely spoken.
Overall, a nice hotel but don't expect any bells and whistles

2인실 산 전망 트윈룸을 5객실 예약하여 친목 모임 5가정과 같이 방문 했는데 마침 바다조망 객실을 업그레이드 해주셔서 모두 편안한 숙박을 했습니다.
조식포함 숙소를 예약해서 조식도 이용했는데 깔끔하고 맛있는 음식들을 다양하게 준비해주셔서 기분 좋은 아침을 먹었습니다.
주변전망도 좋고 전일 코시롱에서 흑돼지 요리로 10%할인된 금액으로 식사해서 좋았습니다~~

룸 컨디션이 좋고 잘 관리된 느낌입니다. 샤워기 수압도 세고 tv가 스마트tv라 편안하고 좋았습니다. 조식은 최소한으로 필요한 것들이 갖춰져 있습니다. 호텔에서 같이 운영하는 고깃집 코시롱도 함께 이용했는데 맛이 좋습니다. 저 식당 외에 주변에 상가가 없어서 늦게 도착하면 식사를 해결하기는 조금 애매합니다.

전반적으로 만족합니다.

가족 단위로 가기에 좋았어요.부모님 두 분/남매라 침실 최소 2개 or 침대 최소 3개 이상 필요한데 다른 곳들은 영 마땅치가 않았거든요. 뷰랑 위치가 사기라 부모님도 무척 좋아하셨고, 근처에 도보로 갈 수 있는 맛집이 있다는 점도 만족스러웠습니다. 조식도 빵/밥/국/죽/과일/요거트 등 다양하게 갖추고 있고 매일 메뉴가 조금씩 달라져서 신경 잘 써주시는 것 같았어요.
다만, 욕실 배수가 좀 약한 편이고, 비치해 둔 컵 중 머그컵은 설거지가 제대로 안 되었는지 얼룩이 좀 있었습니다. 무엇보다 위층에서 쿵쿵거리면서 돌아다니는 소리가 너무 잘 들려서 이건 진짜로 짜증났네요.(대화소리는 x) 마지막 날에는 체크아웃도 아직 안했는데 체크아웃을 했다고 청소하러 직원분이 오시기도 했고요. 바로 사과하고 돌아가셔서 화가 날 정도는 아니었지만 좀 당황하기는 했어요.
그래도 가성비 면에서 나쁘지 않았다고 생각하고, 다음에도 기회가 된다면 머무를 계획이 있습니다.

몇년전에 애월 여행계획하고 아는분 추천으로 3박정도 머물렀는데 그때 너무 좋았어서 다시 오랬만에 왔는데
예전보다 많이 오래된 느낌이었어도 그래도 숙박은 괜찬았어요.... 하지만 아침에 조식을 먹으려 포도쥬스를 마시는데 숙성된 와인맛이 나서 직원분께 말씀드렸더니 아무일도 없던것처럼 그냥 쥬스를 바꿔놓기만 했네요
아이들이면 맛을 몰라서 전부 마셨을수도 있었을텐데 ㅠㅠ
너무 성의가 없네요

호텔입구부터 너무 멋있었다. 한쪽은 야자수 가로수 한쪽은 식물까페가 있었고 주차장도 넓고 전기충전기도 급속이 있어 편했다. 바다뷰이고 객실도 넓었다. 다만 TV리모컨이 쇼파거리에서도 작동이 안되고 TV바로 옆에서만 작동했다. 프론트에 연락해서 다음날 시설팀에서 고쳤다고 하더니 TV에서 조금 거리가 멀어졌을 뿐 여전히 안된것이 불편했다.

청소상태 최악

외관(외부전경, 펍, 카페)만 신경쓰고 관리한 호텔. 내부 가구(소파, 데스크 등)며 굉장히 오래된 연식이 느껴지는데 청소라도 깨끗한 상태면 이런 글남기지 않습니다. 화장실에 타일사이사이 핑크색 물때, 샤워부스 물때, 세면대 실리콘에 곰팡이 등등 욕조가 더럽게 느껴져서 사용안함. 변기 비데는 사용안하는데 갑자기 물콸콸 쏟아지는 소리나서 엄청놀랬네요. 위층 샤워하거나 물쓰면 침대쪽 천장에서 소리 엄청나요
왠만해서 컴플레인 안하는 성향인데 나올때 데스크에 한마디 했습니다. 같은가격이면 절대 재방문 않겠다구요

그외 외부 전경은 볼만했음. 말이랑 강아지도 있어요 조식도 그가격정도면 다양하고 깔끔합니다

전체적으로 만족, 조식은 비추, 화재 대피 훈련은 추억...

새벽 3시 반에 화재 (오)경보로 전부 바깥으로 대피했던 해프닝이 있었는데, 그에 대한 사과가 없어서 아쉬웠음. 그것 빼고는 호텔 전체적으로 만족함

조식이 약간 부실 (가성비가 많이 떨어짐) 해서 처음 하루만 먹고 다음날부터는 나가서 사 먹었네요

위치는 좋지만 호텔이라기엔 안타까운..

조용한 애월 해안도로에 위치, 창밖 전경, 프론트데스크 직원분들의 친절함, 가격대비 편안한 침구는 장점입니다.
하지만 샤워부스 내의 핑크빛 물때와 곰팡이.. 변기냄새, 객실 내부 청결상태.. 바닥과 창쪽 닦으니 시커먼 때가.. 에어컨 내부도 더러워서 물티슈로 닦았네요..
최악은.. 방음이 전혀 안된다는 점.. 3층 가장 끝 객실 이었는데 옆 객실 욕실과 공유되는 침대 옆쪽 벽은 물소리까지 신랄하게 들립니다.. 복도에서 들리는 다른 객실 문 쾅 닫히는 소리.. 윗 객실 쿵쾅 발자국 소리..
아 그리고 로비 매점 이용은 참 편리했는데 전자레인지는 내부가 녹슬고 찌든때가 잔뜩 끼어있었습니다.
연휴에 급히 예약한 숙소인지라 옮길 만한 곳도 없었고 3박동안 힘들었네요..

숙소도 깔끔하고 무엇보다 침대가 푹신해서 완전 꿀잠잤네요!

정갈한 숙소의 호텔. 바다 반대쪽에 창이 난 방이 묶었는데, 나름 조용하고 좋았습니다. 다만 테라스를 원한다면 바다쪽 방을 얻어야 할 듯.

개인적으로 노을리 카페를 좋아합니다. 카페가 예쁘기도 하고 일몰을 보는것 또한 너무 좋습니다 . 그리고 일정에 따라 잠시 머물며 걸어서 근처 식당을 이용하기에도 편리했고, 주변 경관 또한 너무 좋았어요.

가격대비 만족도 별 5개 밖에 줄수 없는게 안타깝습니다. 성수기, 오션뷰 고려하면 최고의 숙소입니다. 바로 앞에 드넓은 바다가 있고 주변에 유명 맛집들이 즐비하여 여행다니기에 위치가 좋았습니다. 직원들 친절하였습니다. 숙소 바로 밑 편의점 있어서 편리합니다. * 참고 : 배달은 1층에서 받고 올라가야됨.

숙소 상태가 가격에 적절하다 생각 된다.
조식도 가격에 비해 먹을게 엄청많아서 만족할 수 있었다. 맛도 다른 식당보다도 맛있게 먹었음.
이전에 들렸을 때엔 애월해안도로 주변에 상가가 없는 단독적인 입지에 위치였다면, 지금은 주변에 많은 상가도 생겨서 나름 해안도로 안에서만 여행을 즐기기에도 충분했던 것 같다. 추가로 아침 산책 하기에 좋았다.

위치적으로도 시설적으로도 가성비좋습니다. 큰시설은 아니지만 언덕위에 위치하고있어 어딜가나 뷰맛집입니다. 오션뷰.마운틴뷰 굿입니다. 아침조식도 다양한 스타일을 즐겨 먹을수 있고, 무엇보다 호텔바로 앞 카페가 너무 이뻐서 저는 무조건 추천입니다. 아주 잘 쉬고 잘 놀다갑니다. 재방문의사 300프로 입니다.

그랜드 조선에서도 묵었는데 유니호텔이 훨씬 좋은 호텔이었습니다 가격은 1/3밖에 안되는데 너무 만족했습니다 뷰와 서비스 청결도 모든 면에서 만족했습니다 조식도 훌륭했습니다 이후에도 다시 찾을 것 같습니다

바다 바로앞이라 뷰도 너무 좋고 고층건물이 아니라 복잡하지 않아 좋아요. 호텔안의 카페도 너무예쁘네요.

4泊5日間の子供連れの旅行でした。
フロントの方の親切さと素速い対応がとても素晴らしかったです。
ただ、風呂があると思ってたのと、部屋の窓が換気の為に開け閉めで一苦労でした。強風で朝方4時に開けられるハプニング😅
色々楽しかったです。ありがとうございました♪

호텔측 제공 사진과 실제 객실과 다름

호텔스닷컴에 고지되어 있는 사진과 실제객실의 시설차이가 있었습니다. (스파가 있는 척 사진이 올라와있음) 해당사진을 보고 예약했기에 컴플레인을 제기하고 조식1일권으로 보상받았습니다. 허위사실로 피해를 입은것이기에 충분한 보상인지는 잘 모르겠고 처음 들어갔었을 때 타월과 옷걸이가 구비되어있지 않았습니다. 그 외에는 별다른 문제는 없었습니다.

시설이 불편했어요

한여름 새벽에 자다가 5-6시쯤에 에어컨이 고장나 더워서 잠을 못 잤습니다.
프런트에 문의하니 실외기 점검 중이라는 말만 할 뿐 아무런 조치가 없었고, 그대로 퇴실까지 에어컨 없이 지내다 왔습니다.

화장실 벽시멘트 부분에 곰팡이가 많았구요, 방 안 전기 콘센트가 티비장 있는 부분에 있는게 전부라 매우 불편했습니다.
