Great location and nice comfortable bed. Very clean and good service. The square outside is quite noisy all night and early in the morning, with some street cleaning machines or something like that, so earplugs were useful for a good night’s sleep. Overall solid value in a very central location.

The room was spotless! The front desk team was outstanding each interaction friendly, knowledgeable and participants in making the stay excellent. The location is just wonderful in old town — and also the morning breakfast staff was superb — I am guilty of not remembering the name of one young man who helped me each morning, but at the time the only young man working deserves a special shout out for his hospitality! Look forward to returning !

Superb hotel—very central, cute, clean, and cozy. Located in the middle of all old town action, the windows and walls are so well insulated, it’s impossible to hear any noise. Simple but healthy breakfast was an extra bonus. Highly recommend.

Room was small, but well designed, spotlessly clean and had everything needed. Hotel staff were lovely. Location is great - right in the middle of the Old Town - so most sights within walking distance. Only downside is noise from the street outside at night. There are a couple of bars on the same street, and - even with the windows closed - it's very loud, so bring earplugs.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Old Town Zurich. It is less than 10 minutes' walk away from the main train station. The area is safe and yet convenient, with easy access to lots of main attractions. The hotel is essentially a boutique hotel in a renovated ancient building so it is full of character and yet it has modern conveniences and comfort! The room is very nicely renovated in a rustic yet modern decor, and I like that it has a safe. However, there is no bar fridge inside (though not an issue for me). The breakfast was quite nice - I loved the fact that it had smoked salmon!!! The food variety was decent (though not outstanding, except for the smoked salmon!) and it was served in the Swiss Chuchi Restaurant, which was part of the hotel. It was again full of character and quite charming. The hotel offers half-price entry to the Kunsthaus Zurich, which is an absolutely delightful art museum with a very good collection - it is one of the must-see things in Zurich! The only issue that I had during my stay was that there was a small plumbing issue in my bathroom - given how old the building was, this probably was not surprising - the hotel staff did try to make it work for me and I appreciated it. Overall, I had a very lovely stay! I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again for sure.

Really nice hotel. Older style, but clean, well kept, and the staff were all lovely. It's in a fabulous location right in the old town and it took me about 15 minutes to walk there relatively slowly, from the station, so location wise, couldn't be better.

I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Zurich.

Loved the convenience and location, we walked everywhere. The staff was welcoming and the access to bottled water without a charge, much appreciated for by this American. Hotel Adler Zurich was in a perfect location to experience Zurich—close to landmarks but not on a busy street. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was tasty and staff was very friendly. We were in need of a new piece of luggage due to a broken zipper and the ladies working the front desk were very helpful with store recommendations and directions. The hotel is in a great spot, just a quick 10 minute walk to the Duomo Cathedral. It’s not the newest place, but the cleaning staff really do a great job keeping things tidy. The best part has to be the breakfast, it’s amazing! The service in the breakfast area is super friendly, and I was totally surprised to find latte art at the buffet.

I arrived late at night, but still, was warmly welcomed by the young girl at reception. She provided clear information about my stay and explained that guests can help themselves to cold beverages from the lobby fridge, free of charge. This was a lovely touch. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is located in an ideal proximity to local landmarks, shops, restaurants and public transport. Overall, an extremely pleasant stay and highly recommended to fellow travellers.

The noise and paper thin walls- we had to have our windows open as there is no air conditioning and there is a large outdoor patio area just outside our window and the worst part was being woken up at 5am to someone vacuuming the outdoor area hitting every table! Also having an uncomfortable bed against the wall unfortunately made the situation even worse being 2 people in the room. We would recommend this hotel

You could not ask for more old world charm than this hotel. It’s located on the corner of a cobblestone plaza with plenty of food options. The rooms were nice although a little small - but this was expected for a hotel in the old town. The breakfast options were good and the staff served any type of coffee or tea you’d like. A big perk was that they kept a complimentary drink fridge near the lobby with bottled waters. They gave a 50% discount to the Kunsthaus Museum of art - the buildings history involves an artist whose works can be seen around the hotel and the museum. The only drawbacks were that the A/C didn’t seem to cool as much as we hoped and leaving the window open let in a lot of smoke smell from the streets below (however, we found this to be the case all over the Swiss cities).

Great location walkable to all the old town sights. Lovely building and comfortable accommodation. We paid for the city view superior twin room but were put in a small twin with a tiny shower room overlooking a rear courtyard. When I questioned if we had been given the wrong room type I was told it was the superior city view twin in a quiet location. Not convinced! Still charged the upgraded room price. Breakfast is simple and basic bread cheese etc. overall happy with our stay but not convinced by the room pricing. I’d look elsewhere if staying in Zurich again

Loved the free access to drinks, double glazed windows (a massive must given how loud it was with the windows open, continental breakfast range, friendly front desk, amazing location and not your cookie cutter American hotel making it a much nicer authentic stay. No mini fridge in the room but this must be a European thing as my next hotel also doesn’t have one. Low fuss stay.

This hotel has loads of charm and in an ideal location. Service and cleanliness could not be reproached.

Our room was very small and comfort was lacking. Sleeping in a small double bed pushed up against a wall with only 2 flat pillows was not what I expected. The luggage rack was too small for my medium sized suitcase. I like charm but if you are over 50, comfort is of utmost importance.
