Had been to football in Heidenheim and wanted a place in the town to stay. Really impressed with this hotel. Huge room, great service and modern interiors! Breakfast looked really nice with lots of hot and cold choices but unfortunately didn’t have any time to sample. Was also informed we could of used the swimming pool next door for free!

Very nice hotel up above the city of Heidenheim. We were not able to take advantage of the included use of the swimming facilities next door, but heard that they are fantastic. Walking into town is all downhill, but only about 10 minutes on foot. The hotel facilities were excellent for the price, though seating in the room itself was limited (it could have used a few nice chairs to sit in). Furnishings and bathroom facilities were modern and complete. We would stay there again we were in the area.

Everything was lovely, except two small points. First, a large dog walked in and out of the breakfast room while we were eating; secondly, the balcony outside the room, which has a glorious view, would be much improved if there were barriers sectioning off the different rooms - we might then not have smelled the morning and evening cigarettes from the lady in the next room.

Wir haben extra ein etwas besseres hotel genommen dachten wir zumindest, leider war das Zimmer nicht wiklich sauber unter dem Bett der Couch usw wird nicht gesaugt. Beim frühstück war einiges noch garnicht bereit zum Beispiel Kaffee mit Milch mussten wir erst sagen dann wurde es gemacht. Auch die Schüsseln und Teller waren teils nicht sauber. Echt schade und beim aus checken wurde noch die Flasche Mineral welche auf dem Zimmer war berechnet. Wir werden sicher nicht wieder kommen

Wir haben die Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Italien gewählt - aufgrund dessen man das Schwimmbad nebenan kostenfrei nutzen kann war das für uns optimal.

Auf der Expedia-Website steht, dass die Sauna und der Pool im Preis inbegriffen sind, aber wenn man nach Sauna und Pool fragt, steht dort, dass für die Sauna 12 € pro Tag, 5 € für das Badetuch und 2 € für die Badeschuhe zu zahlen sind, und das Schlimmste ist, dass die Website nichts davon erwähnt. Ich finde es also respektlos, so betrogen zu werden.
Ich werde nie wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.
Das ist für mich eine absockerei.

Das Frühstück ist reichlich und gut ausgewählt. Brötchen und Stückchen sind zwar aufgebacken, dann wäre es gut, wenn es knackiger wäre. Die Quarkschüsseln sind zwar ganz, haben jedoch einige Jahre sichtbar auf dem Buckel. Dass sich keiner mit der Ladestation auskennt, OK. Dann noch weitere Hinweise wer sich auskennt. Wie es mit der Parkkarte ist, konnte ich erst durch Nachfragen erfahren.
Fazit: zwar gut durchdacht, jedoch werde die Mitarbeiter anscheinend nicht geschult.

Das Hotel ist gut. Parken davor kein Problem. Das Restaurant hat z. Zt. sonntags geschlossen, was ich nicht wusste - und bedeutete zum Abendessen in die Stadt zu laufen. Bis in die Stadt ist es ca. 1 KM zu Fuß etwa 15 Minuten. Hinweg ist ziemlich bergab, der Rückweg dafür ziemlich bergauf.

Check in hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Taste Hotel hatte eine Buchung nicht über Expedia im System gehabt und wollte meine Kreditkarte nochmal buchen. Ich vermute dass diese an einer Panne von Expedia lag und gleichzeitig ein schlechtes Handover zwischen Schichten. Ich konnte im Expedia app die Buchung nur teilweise ansehen und müsste die Reception überzeugen per Email Bestätigung und Zahleneingang aus Kontoauszug. Nach 20 min hat die Mitarbeiterin dann doch in Expedia Webseite gefunden. Unnötige Stress nach einem langen Arbeitstag und nicht mal eine Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten.
Außerdem fand ich schon grenzwertig dass man für eine 3 Nächte Übernachtung, keine Flasche Wasser kostenlos zur verfügung stellt. Konkurrenz in der gleichen und manchmal günstigeren Preiskategorie in Ostalbkreis haben es viel besser gelöst. Ist eine Kleinigkeit, aber lässt ein Beigeschmack zurück.

Hotel voldoet voor tussenstop op heen- of terugreis van vakantie, niet voor een langer verblijf. Geen vriendelijk ontvangst aan receptie. Kamers zijn gehorig. Het ontbijt was beperkt en werd slecht aangevuld. Zitplaatsen in ontbijtzaal ontoereikend voor aantal hotelgasten. Honden zijn wel welkom. Restaurant en bar op zondag gesloten. De plaats Heidenheim heeft weinig te bieden en heeft nauwelijks eetgelegenheden.

Alles in allem ein gutes Zimmer, geräumiges Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Zwei Dinge habe ich jedoch: es wird immer mit dem angeschlossenen (öffentlichen) Schwimmbad geworben, das allerdings genau zu der Zeit geschlossen war, als ich mit meinem Sohn im Hotel war. Der Zugang (durch einen unterirdischen Tunnel) zum Schwimmbad ist einer der Hauptgründe, warum wir so gerne in dieses Hotel kommen - schon seit Jahren. Daher ist es sehr ärgerlich, wenn das nicht genutzt werden kann, ob das Hotel nun zu der Leistung verpflichtete ist oder nicht. Als langjähriger Kunde hätte ich da nicht nur eine Information erwartet, sondern evtl. einen Gutschein für ein Ausweichbad (z. B. Limes Therme oder so).
Zum Zweiten: ich hatte angefragt, ob es möglich sei, die gesamte Buchung um einen Tag zu verschieben, weil ich erst aus familiären Gründen am Sonntag Abend losfahren konnte. Bei Anruf gab es nur die Antwort, daß ich die Buchung ja extern getätigt hätte. Dann rief ich bei hotels.com an, zwar war man im Chat sehr nett, aber erste Option war eine Neubuchung (bei Verfall der alten), dann das Versprechen, sich ans Hotel zu wenden, und tags darauf sich wieder bei mir zu melden. Das ist jedoch nie geschehen. Daher blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, also noch nachts die Reise anzutreten. Hier hätte ich sowohl seitens des Hotels als auch seitens Hotels.com erwartet, daß es hier mehr Entgegenkommen gibt. Ich bin schon seit über 10 Jahren Kunde, Goldkunde sogar. Das bringt aber keinen besseren Service.

Personal freundlich, die Lage ist super. Der Ansatz keine Standard Reinigung bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalt ist gut, dafür sollte aber die Abreisereinigung etwas gründlicher sein, die Einrichtung hat an der einen oder anderen Stelle Wartungs-/Reparaturbedarf. Dennoch alles in allem ein gutes Hotel.

Auf dem Zimmer wird eine Flasche Wasser für 4€ verkauft. Eine Kakerlake als Silberfisch herunter geredet, welche durchs offene Fenster kommen sollen.

Frühstück in Corona-Zeiten ist für alle Hotels schwierig. Aber wenn ich ein Auswahlzettel für das Frühstück erhalte, wo ich angeben kann was ich essen und wann ich essen möchte, dann erwarte ich auch das dies vorhanden ist. Vor allem bei dem Preis von 15 €. Stattdessen war das Frühstück zur genannten Zeit nicht fertig und manches war nicht mehr vorhanden. Frühstück lieber sparen und in der City einnehmen.
An der Rezeption um Bestellung eines Taxis auf eine bestimmte Uhrzeit gebeten, wurde nicht gemacht. Taxi kam zu spät und wir hätten fast den Zug verpasst.

Eins Vorab: Die Nutzung des Schwimmbads und der dazugehörigen fantastischen Sauna mit toller Panoramaaussicht machen die hellhörigen Zimmer und das so lala-Essen (Preis-Leistung stimmt dennoch! > 12€ für Buffet) wieder wett.
Ja! Bäder in den noch nicht renovierten Zimmern sind sanierungs/renovierungsbedürftig. Aber genau diese Arbeiten sind im vollen Gange.
