Pictures were deceiving. Staff were incompetent. Messed up my booking. Instead of 2 rooms 3 nights they had 1 apartment 2 rooms. The night staff didnt understand and I had to book an extra room. Overall I had paid for an extra room that we didn’t use cause the staff didn’t know how to make the changes in the system. Place was run down and dingy. We had to change rooms cause it smelled moldy, and WC was leaking. Will not recommend.

Booking done incorrectly, staff was incompetent to correct. Had to re-book cause they couldn’t fix now I have extra room paid for a stay I have to fight for a refund from Orbitz. Unfair and inconvenient that should have been an easy fix at check in.

Pictures were deceiving. WC was leaking when flushed, washroom counter and bathtub was dingy and damaged. Entire room smell mold, bedcovers were not clean, wallpaper was falling off. Entire room was dirty and not as posted.

Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Can be improved further. Reception staff are friendly as well as restaurant staff. There’s no wifi in the room despite being mentioned available on the website. No housekeeping available in the afternoon onwards.

I rented 2 units for the weekend, a studio and a 2-bedroom apartment, the studio was clean and tidy but the 2-bedroom apartment was a disappointment, the shower was not working, toilet was dirty with traces of leakage at the ceiling, disgusting! Furnitures were also very aged. Will never repeat.

1. The Breakfast Selection is'nt brilliant. I'd give that a minus score to be honest.
2. Internet is patchy and unreliable, some of the TV Channels do not work.

Bayu Beach with a good swimming place

Lovely place to swim
Beg Sept beach to ourselves.
Pool kept in very good condition
Good attitude at desk
Remember this is 3 star so don’t be unreasonable and expect rooms to be like the Ritz. They tend not to have any sun beds on beach but a good old fashioned towel works fine. It seems to be a hotel for local families which is nice.

Bilik luas (2 tingkat with spiral staircases), toilet banyak, view cantik, kemas & bersih. Pihak hotel maybe boleh letakkan safety penghadang utk elak kanak2 bermain di tangga. Kebetulan masa menginap 1 unit lif rosak. Terpaksa berebut n tunggu lama utk guna 1 lagi lif, especially waktu check in, check out n petang2. Berjanggut tunggu. Last2 guna tangga sampai aras 6. Hotel ada public kolam renang yg sesuai utk kanak2 n pantai juga dekat. Petak parking tak banyak tp masih mencukupi utk guests.

The beach was awesome but the poor service from the hotel.
the reception staff was unpleasant.

Cleanliness & facilities - out (air-condition not working and noisy) even after we called the maintenance it's still not working.

The only good things about this hotel are:-
1. The beach - clean & not many people.
2. Easy access to highway
3. Easy to find food - Restaurant, stall & convenience shop and stall nearby

Sad to spend two night with my kids their

I was at the wrong hotel at the wrong time . I don’t like it at all.
Swimming pool with people swimming with their clothes and head scarf , break fast buffet opened and food full with flies , it’s terrlble . We’re function of May Bank on our first day and it was Saturday . The bank partacepant have no consideration for other hotel gausts neither the hotel staff . The can not control the crowed

Staff said i get one queen bed and two single bed for the family room but instead all single bed combined as queen bed. Duh!
You should see the old fashion air con with noisy sound.
The room view is great towards the beach and swimming pool.
The iron room at level 1 just beside the function hall with everybody looking at you with clothes.
The iron board is dirty with old black covers.

The hotel staffs are not formal. They are sociable. There is no sense of commercial feeling. No plastic smell, no uptight dress. Even though the room is a bit run down, but it gives home feeling.

Nice affordable place for family vacation

Enjoyed staying in Bayu Beach Resort. The studio room is much more comfortable than the 1 bedroom deluxe apartment. We’re lucky to get the seaview room. Except for one particular staff in the breakfast area who is quite rude, the manager & most of the staffs there were very nice & accommodating.

everything from staff to the room are awful

staff was rude and not accomodating, snaps at questions and rushed to shoo customer off , dont know why. got the most furthest top floor room available for a 3 room apartment. lift was smelly and dirt all over the corridor. shabby not maintained well with dried leaves at some of the corridors. The unit? worst! hot shower not working, only 2 bathrooms instead of 3 as advertised, room with broken lamp, remote was broken, my room in 1649, the furthest unit and our family with 3 kids under 5 and 2 elderly need to take our car to go to the pool and also to cafe. does this make sense? worst experience ever. not worth money spent at all!! Glad we stayed only for a night!

Clean sandy beach

The clean sandy beach is the only reason we're here. The room needs to be refurbished as it is very shabby and outdated.The beds and floor are dusty. The bathtub is stained, so the kids can't soak in it. However, we really enjoy the beach and swimming pool.

Pleasant overall stay. Needs to improve on cleanliness of rooms and a bit of \"upgrading \"could help the hotel be more accomodating and not make travellers feel theyve booked a budget hotel instead of a resort. But its a peaceful beach resort with a beautiful seaview where u can see the sunset.

Location is excellent if you are after a beach-side hotel. Make no mistake, this is an old hotel despite best efforts to maintain it. Thankfully everything in the room is in good working order. We got the beach-facing studio which was spacious. If you are after a more comfortable stay, you'd have to pay substantially more.

Great location as far as PD is concerned as the beach front is one of the best. Facilities are run down however. Good sized apartment, ample space, just feels old... Get rid of the tub and give us a proper shower place.

Hotel is close to the beach

The room was spacious with mezzanine floor but it would be nice to have a queen bed downstairs since it was a family room.
The hotel and room is old and tired but its beach is clean and clear of corals. It would be better to have a direct and nearer access to the beach from the hotel.
Swimming pool is a nice size but could be crowded during peak period.
The rate is however a little expensive for a night without breakfast. Thanks.
