We cannot understand why the gym and the spa is not operating on a Saturday.
Breakfast selection is not good compared to Royale Chulan where our other friends were staying and the rates there were lower. The room carpets are dirty and there were no bedroom slippers. We were given a room not as per booking although they changed it for us.

A lot of work to do!

I stayed in Klana several times in the early 2000s. Company stopped using the hotel around 2005 as its condition was deteriorating. However, reading about the renovated rooms, my wife and I decided to give it a shot. Regrettable choice. Yes, the rooms why renovated, but why not completely? New bathroom, new furniture, new carpet, but the doors and doorposts were still the old rotten ones. Cleanliness (most important aspect!) was NOT ok. There was dust in multiple places and a LOT of it under the bed which we found out when something rolled under it. The bed was comfortable but the other guests slammed doors, so our sleep was only so so.
A few other bummers:
NO ALCOHOL SERVED. It has become a Muslim hotel. Nothing wrong with that, but they used to serve alcohol and it wasn't mentioned on the booking website nor on their own.
Some staff was really unfriendly
Breakfast was the least of all the breakfasts we had in Malaysia. Lots of dishes tasted if they were reheated from the day before.
Swimming pool water was kinda mirky and not inviting for a swim.

Lot of work to do to get it back to what it was. Do the internal renovation PROPERLY and give the outside a proper paintjob (really looked a bit decayed). Clean the rooms properly, improve the breakfast, teach the guests to respect other guests rest and improve the breakfast.

Not likely to go back there

The receptionist staff was very helpful. I have booked 2 rooms which were 1 family suite and 1 deluxe. But upon checking in the distance between 2 rooms was far. So the staff had kindly help to upgrade the room 716 which a little nearer to other room 718.
But unfortunately the room 716 has a problem with aircond . the room was not cold even though the aircond temperature was raised. Whole night we are unable to sleep.
That was the only issue that i faced during my stay at Klana Resort Seremban..

Family room isn’t a family room

Don’t bother to take family room, you better off taking 2 standard room instead. Shower too small, not kids friendly, no lounge/couch, not enough hooks in the bathroom, no rack to hang your towel, very bad drainage, clogged up most of the time. 5 seconds in the shower and it’s already flooded. Room not stocked up for family, 2 items available for each, need to request everything eventhough booked for 4. Even toilet roll provided were used ones, like 1/3 of rolls left. Very pitiful.

We arrived early and the receptionist allowed us to check-in. Run down hotel and still ongoing refurbishment. Swimming pools wise, the facilities are excellent. My children so happy with the facilities.

On the first night they checked us into a room with a ceiling crack just under the central air-con, water leaking overnight, room floor all wet! Though they changed room after first night, the housekeeping services was terrible, always something missing/not replenished, like missing coffee/water, missing floor mat etc. after housekeeping. Worse still, on the last day, we turned on the \"Clean Room\" light for our room, we came back at night but the light is still on but room was not cleaned! The very worst part is when we complained, they accused us of turning on the \"DND\" light which of course we did not! When check-out, I asked the Customer Service (Sandy) to contact me about this bad experience, one week later no news, then I went to their official website and left feedback for them to contact me, another week later still no news. This \"resort\" is not serious about customer service and does not care about customer complaints. Avoid at all costs.

Very new and nice, recently renovated hotel. Very spacious. Gave complimentary mineral water. But the toilet was disappointing as the water outlet in the shower area didn't flow very well, which led to some minor flooding. Overall 6/10

We got to experience the newly renovated block. Worth the price!!! Room condition is excellent but not the wifi, still need to resolve the connection but TV channels were good enough for the kids. My kid really enjoyed the swimming pool time. Breakfast is just ok.

An experience I want to forget

Beyond the main archway to the hotel begins my unbelievable horrible experience. You drive in from the back of the hotel and see what looks like a abandoned hotel, but guess what? There are lights in the lobby! Staff greatly lacking. On taking the lift up to our floor, the lift opens to dirty carpets covered with some plastic sheets. Renovation is the excuse on signs all over the place but no one is seen working. I thought maybe the room might be ok but sadly not. It was dingy with a rotting bathroom door and a strange smell ( an under utilized room?). The bed was ok, clean sheets and comfortable pillows (the only reason I persisted to spend the night there). There was a good breakfast spread and these last two points are what could salvage their honor...
I hope that their refurbished rooms due in Dec 18 change the outlook. However best to check if it has happened before trying it out.

Need immediate completion of renovation

This old hotel definitely needs an upgrade as the room is in a not good shape, water stains on the bathroom's ceilling is visible with aged bath tub. Nevertheless, staff are friendly, breakfast is average up in standard, nice and quiet surounding, and the room price was good.

The room conditions all damn old and never upgrade it. Some of the plug is not function. The corridor light are malfunction too and make the whole corridor is so dark. It is not worth for the value that pay. Should doing more improvement on this. The condition even worst than some of the budget hotel nearby so dissapointed.

Renovation is ongoing now at the poolside rooms and hopefully can complete the whole renovation by end 2018 so that my family can again check-in to your resort with new enviro.

Needs Maintenance

We stayed in one of the family rooms which was down near the pool. However, there was no lift from the lobby to the room. Not really convenient to be carrying your luggages down the staircase especially if you check in late at night when the buggy service is no longer available. The walkway to the room was scary as it was dark and the floor was wet (leaky ceiling). Even though the room was large, it had a musky smell. The air conditioner control panel was spoilt and the hot water (centralized system) wasn't hot enough to our liking. The management should put more effort in maintaining the resort as it was a preferred location for many tourists in the past.

Lots of improvement to be made

First impression from outside was good. No one really greeted guests but there was concierge service which was great. Hotel surrounding was good. Reception service needed to be improved. Hotel lobby nothing impressive and looks worn out and tired. High time for refurbishment. There is damp mouldy smell in the interior and much stronger in the rooms. We booked 2 rooms. One room also had cigarette smell when it was supposed to be non smoking! Bathrooms were leaking and not very clean. Everything in the bathroom needed to be refurbished! Quite a number of lights not functiong at all. Mattresses not comfortable. Need more pillows and linens need to be changed to new ones. Didn’t bother to use the hotel towel. Room size was good. Breakfast spread needs improvements as well. The resort will be great once it goes through renovations and refurbishment.

i booked 3 rooms under different tour co. but the staffs manage to place us on the same floor. There was trip of electricity in one of the rooms and the maintenance fix it. It was ok on the first day but blackout again on the 2nd day. I think the hotel was great but need changes especially the bathroom (looks old) and also the door (room 327 with no latches!). We had great time, suitable for short getaway with family.

Hotel need to be renovated

The hotel receptionist unable to find my reservation for total 3 rooms and keep mentioned I book only 1 room, although I show him my booking detail and he keep mentioned his record only 1 room, and it took me a while to get the room. The Carpet on the corridor outside the room is smelly like never been cleaned for while. The room is cleaned but everything in the room seems old, like shower is not flushing well. But I can't expect much from the the money i paid.

Expedia's itinerary # was not linked to the hotel's booking system. Spent more than an hour at hotel reception sorting out 8 rooms confirmed through 4 different Expedia bookings. Special request made through Expedia was not communicated to the hotel and one of the eight rooms was not booked where else payment has been fully made online through Expedia.

Klana Resort Seremban - It has seen better days

The hotel has seen better days, it is very tired now. From the sagging bed to the mould growing on the bathroom ceiling and the leaking toilet each time you flush, from the poor TV reception to the very patchy wifi, the hotel is really just a place to stay for the night. Ample parking overnight, although it can be rather full during the day due to the folks who attend the Team Building activities organised at the hotel. The included breakfast is really simple fare, despite the attempt to offer a spread of choices. The staff do not seem all that excited to deal with guests so there is no warmth to be found.

Not exactly what the listing states. . .

1. There are no King beds here. They have Doubles or a single Queen. You can reserve a single \"King\" on Expedia, but if they have none available you are stuck with a double.
2. There is no 24 hour room service here. Normally room service ends at 2:AM, but during Ramadan it closes at 12:00. There was no menu in my room. I tried to get one at 11:30 PM but by the time I was able to order they had closed the kitchen. No word of this on the Expedia site. In their defense, once I complained about this top the manager I was able to order from their late night menu.
3. Normally the breakfast here is pretty good. They tell you at check in the hours and where to go. During Ramadan, not a word. The normal breakfast area is closed and breakfast is basically a religious event. Not a good scene for non-Muslims.

I stay here often because of the price, but I am hoping Expedia will correct the listing and confront the hotel management about the misleading statements.

Worst hotel staff service

The hotel has the worst service I can ever imagine!!!
When we checked in for 3 persons, staff told us an extra bed will be sent to room. We actually reminded the staff 3 times to deliver the extra bed but they did not!!!

We also requested for replacement of hairdryer (one in room was spoilt) at least twice, same no action.
We gave up totally with such very bad service.
Hotel is very very poorly maintained with water leaks along the corridor.
With such bad service, they should not be in the hospitality service.
