This is a small apartment. Everything you want and everything you need. Very clean and modern. Very close to shops and shopping centre. Definitely recommend

Well-equipped and comfortable. Everything worked well. Happy overall except that free wifi as represented was not made available, and given the holiday season, no help was available (the property has still not responded to my emails, 2 days after the end of my trip). Hotels.com was fantastic in offering a voucher within 24 hours of my report though!

Our stay at Park Avenue was very comfy and pleasing. Central to everything we needed.
Only complaint was No hairdryer in our Unit and I tripled checked the website before going so I had to go and buy one.
Plus No cable/satellite which was also advertised.

Property needs some TLC

Carpet was heavily stained, walls marked, broken/loose bathroom tiles, noisey fans, heating wouldn't go any higher than 20degrees and left half the house cold. There were ants and spiders found in the bathroom and the beds were rock hard. Also the remote to the garage door wouldn't work so we had to park outside. Sadly wouldn't recommend.

Well appointed 2 bedroom apartment with separate lounge room / dining area and rear deck. Premises very clean and the bed was good. Shower rating would've been 5 except it was a bit cramped, otherwise great pressure.

Home away from home

Hubby n I came to Melbourne for first grandson's first birthday. This place was nearest to son'so house across Blackburn sanctuary. I booked it based on location n it being a villa unit n great reviews. Latter were most helpful as they gave tips on how to locate the keys in the dark etc as no reception on site. As we arrived after dark, looking for the Unit was quite a drive around as Park Avenue's property were located within a fenced enclave. Otherwise most happy with the domestic facilities. Though there were only 2 of us we were given a 2 bedroom unit with more space. Only complaint is that they only gave us a day's supply of toiletries.

Private and quiet location

Clean, exceeded expectations of utilities for all round use. Incorporated all one desires for a family. Solid build with heating and air conditioning, no hassle, with manufacturing advice notes. Close to a shopping mall for all needs, off main highway for North - City, South - Coast.

Family getaway

The apartment was perfect for our stay with plenty of room for the family. We were close to our destination for the following day along with shopping centres for all our needs. The area was quiet and well set back off the main road. We would stay here again.

Great value for money alternative to a hotel!

Decided to take an apartment instead of going into a hotel, as I spend too much time in hotels anyway.
The place was well equipped and everything was perfectly clean. Nothing of the usual issues with many of such places. The apartment was its own small house, located with others of similar type in a small community with little gardens and trees, providing plenty of privacy. Despite being close to two major roads giving good access to other parts of town, the only noise in the morning were the birds in the trees. Close to shopping and the restaurant Vegie Bowl is in walking distance and worth to go to. A car is needed though to get anywhere major. Bathrooms and kitchen are not new, but in clean and well working state. I highly recommend this place and was very happy that I had chosen it!

NB: I had to rate the hotel staff, but never saw anyone;-) All was settled and sorted when I arrived.

Nice apartment centrally located close to city

We found the accommodation met our requirements. A couple of minor problems were quickly resolved with the exception of the clearing of a disgusting birds nest that had been built in the window crevice adjoining the shower. Parts of the nest had filtered into the shower cubicle. Window crevice was accessible through openings in the exterior walls which seems to be a design fault. All in all we found the accommodation to be of very good quality furnishings for a fair price close to all amenities.

Neat Apartment not too far from city

Lucky to run into possibly their own on-site staff to help check in. House was roomy and clean, great for families. We were ok with no room cleaning service during our 3 days stay, as described and disclosed at booking. And the location is right off a main street, about 45 mins from Melbourne city. Traffic on highways or location streets heading during rush hours were terrible in Melbourne.
