It’s a bit outdated but most hotels in Fortaleza will be. However excellent staff and location is great for exploring the beach. Also cute fun beach bars across the street. I would come back here.

I have stayed at this property over 30 times in the last 14 years. The only reason I have not stayed at the property during that time is that was full and not available. While it may not be as fancy as other properties, it trumps them with its welcoming environment. I have no hesitation whatsoever in fully recommending that you choose Hotel Beira Mar as your lodging preference while in Fortaleza!.

I stayed in room 410, and I don't think the bathroom has been cleaned properly in a long time! The toilet was filthy down the sides with poop that had been there for a long time. The shower walls were also very dirty, and the room floor as well.

O café da manhã é bem sortido, os funcionários sempre prestativos, eu tenho uma filha de quase 3 anos e o espaço de playground pra ela brincar e o copa baby pra eu preparar o leite da mesma, lavar utensílios , etc. pra mim é o diferencial, eles pensam em todos os estilos de pessoa, vai do lazer em família a uma hospedagem solo.

Beira Mar Hotel is an ideal location in the newly renovated beach area. Although I was here for business, I wish I were here for vacation. It’s great for anyone who loves to relax at the beach and have all the conveniences of a hotel nearby.

This is an excellent hotel! The price beats other hotels on Beira Mar, the facility is clean and comfortable, the staff attentive and the location excellent (Uber and taxis very accessible) I've stayed in this hotel more than 40 times over the years and always choose it even when 5-star hotels are available. Though only a 3-star, its value easily outranks a 5-star! You won't go wrong by staying at Hotel Beira Mar!

I travel often to Fortaleza and have consistently chosen Hotel Beira Mar as my preferred hotel since 2004. I've stayed in many hotels on the Beira Mar beach front and this one, without exception, though technically a \"lesser\" hotel compared to the big ones, is a head and shoulders above ALL the competition. The staff is amazing, the facilities very much up to \"American\" expectations, the location is excellent (both visually and logistically), and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal! The staff and management are long-termers and they carry their excellence consistently through the years. You cannot go wrong staying here!

Very close, nearly in front of actually, to the artisan market that is open nightly on Beira Mar. The room and common areas were tidy and well kept with comfortable furniture and plenty of space. Each room has its own AC unit that was strong enough to keep the room temperate, even when it is 90 degrees outside. The ocean facing rooms have privacy glass that allows you to see out, but keeps others from seeing in. Complimentary breakfast was filling and typical of Brazilian breakfast fare. Hotel front desk staff spoke English as well as Portuguese. Ample parking in a self service parking garage at the back of the hotel (protected by security and an automatic door)

The place is OK. Service at check in was the best part of my stay. My room was on the small side, with a view to a side street. The pool was very small for a 4* hotel and breakfast was average by brazilian standards. It had fruit and juices and decent bread... but nothing to write home about.

O quarto um pouco deteriorado, banheiro precisa de manutenção, a água ficava parada na área do chuveiro, o café da manhã com poucas opções, a equipe do restaurante que servia o café não atendiam bem. Me colocaram em um quarto de cadeirante, a cortina do boz estava com bolas grossas de bolor/mofo, as toalhas de banho estavam se desmanchando de velhas, mesmo solicitando limpeza nao foram limpar o quarto no primeiro dia, no segundo limparam superficialmente. Tinha cabelo em cima da cama qua do chegamos. Posso ter errado ao fazer minha reserva, pois estava olhando diarias para 2pessoas (casal), mas mesmo assim chegamos as 02h do dia 01/01 e fomos embora as 23h do dia 02/01 nao precisavam ter me cobrado adicional proporcional a 3 diasrias sendo que nem ficamos 48h, nao tomamos o café da manha do dia 03/01. É bom senso, ou a falta dele. Na reserva dizia ter garagem porem é com custo extra, devia ter isso destacado.

Hotel maravilhoso, funcionários excelentes, muitos educados, localização ótima, café da manhã e comidas ótimas, o quarto que pegamos maravilhoso com uma vista linda para o mar (orla), porém pagamos um valor a mais para que o frigobar estivesse abastecido e ao fazer o check-in informaram que estava vazio e se eu quisesse poderia solicitar para ser abastecido, não pedi pois se eu paguei um valor a mais para isso, teria que ao chegar ja la ja estivesse abastecido, tirando isso é muito bom, vale também ressaltar que estão passando por obras, na qual não me atrapalhou, nem com barulho, que assim que chegávamos ao não escutava nada da obra do quarto ao lado. Quando voltar a Fortaleza, sem dúvidas irei voltar para o Hotel Beira Mar.

De negativo posso cotar a cama. Eu acho horrível essas camas em quem tentam juntar duas camas de solteiros para formar uma cama para casal. Esse é o tipo de cama desse hotel. O restaurante também não é bom. Qualquer barraca em frente será melhor. Na recepção o atendimento é bagunçado, muvucado. Porém é limpo, estacionamento é coberto , apesar de pago. A localização é excelente ( motivo principal da escolha ).
