The motel is under renovation and we didn’t know till we got there. Room we got was renovated but looked like it was done a little fast. Do need to upgrade the shower curtain to something a little more water proof and the shower head also ( had one small stream of high pressure water only). Shower and corner area wasn’t clean properly. This was a one stop overnight deal like not even 12 hour stay and still they asked for a security deposit of 200$ which wasn’t written on the website.

The property is currently under renovation, but I'm sure once it's done it will be a very nice place to stay. There is only one person on staff at the front desk, so after hours you have to ring a bell to get service. The outside needs some work but the room I stayed in was quite nice. It's outside of town, less than 10 minutes from Lindsay, which makes it quiet. There is a nice restaurant and a couple of gas stations within walking distance. Overall, I enjoyed the stay because it was quiet and the room was nice.

We had to go out late to find a store and buy our own bedding the room was so dirty, bedding was stained even the shower curtain was stained. Parking was ok. Pictures make it look good but looks are deceiving. Beds were comfortable once we put our own bedding on to protect against the stains and bloody needle marks. Oh, and the front desk guy was sleeping and we couldn’t wake him up had to go back outside and ring the bell. Awkward.

We started off in room 31. Asked to change because there was a huge gap in the door and the wind was blowing in. He gave us room 33. It was filthy. Hair and toothpaste in the sink, toilet was dirty, the carpets hadn't been vacuumed, and the coffee maker was broken, giving less than half an inch of coffee. When I tried to alert him that there was a big ice patch by the one set of stairs, it took several attempts for him to understand what I was saying. Then he told me to use the other set of stairs by the office. This morning I was taking bags to the car at 8:25 am and he was outside my door saying \"you called for bill?\" I said ,\"no, but I will be ready to check out in a few minutes\" he told me to give him the key right then and there INSIDE my room. Also, my granddaughter found a dirty used wash cloth on the floor in the corner of the room by the bed.

Friday night very quiet, Saturday night the people above me very noisy until late which is so very annoying. Some people think 'it's all about me' and don't care.
However I have stayed here several times when in Lindsay and would do so again. Convenient location.

The room has been redone and quite comfortable. New bed and floors. Lots of ports to plug computers and things into for power. Lack of hooks to hang towels in the bathroom which had the only mirror in the room. Our big disappointment was the tv. I looks very new but you could not get any current programming. Was all set to watch Friday night football and couldn't get it. Settled on an old tv show and we kept having to wait for streaming which got tiresome. Hopefully, they get cable to go along with what is there,

Motel is older, but they are working on upgrading it.

|Room was decent, new furniture and floor. Bathroom, while \"upgraded\" had a few minor issues.. the fan did not seem to work, there were no towel racks to hang towels and the bathtub (while being a newer acrylic molded one with the walls etc.) had a lot of deep scratches in the tub itself making it look dirty. It was not actually dirty, just seemed that way.

Only other minor issue was the door was REALLY hard to open from inside the room. You had to put ALOT of effort to get it to pull open. But, that could also be partly due to how humid it was outside.

Most other guests were friendly. One a couple of doors down from us was a little too friendly, and was constantly drunk, but hey it's Lindsay lol

Over all though a decent motel for the price in peak \"cottage\" season. Staff were friendly room cleaning was good.

The owners Bhavesh and Dharti Patel were polite and met requests we had for a room change, more supplies, and electricity restoration. Unpleasantly decorated rooms --- and the lack of cleanliness makes guests feel uncomfortable.

There was a problem with the door. When we first arrived the door was not locked and we could not close the door or lock it. The owner fixed the door right away but, the first night it still didn't close properly. After 2:00 a.m. someone walked by and pulled the door closed and hollered that our door was open. Even after that the door still popped open throughout the night. We figured out we had to push the door hard to get it to close. There was a deadbolt but it didn't work

Typical motel, outside Lindsay as expected. Check in is a pain. If you didn't bring your cellphone, you'd be sleeping outside. Our room was pleasant and this is our third stay so it's good value.

On arriving, one of our door “keys’ didn’t work. There were no hangers for the closet, no rod to hang things in the “closest” alcove, no towel racks in the bathroom, no toilet paper holder. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable and the refrigerator was great. Because there was no housekeeping (or even a broom) supplied, the floors got quite gritty. Our room was non-smoking; and the motel was quite empty of other travellers. Somehow, the front desk staff rented nearby rooms to smokers who gathered outside to visit, so our air conditioning unit sucked in all the smoke from their cigarettes.

This property is clearly under construction as the new owners renovate. The rooms were clean, the mattresses very comfortable. No amenities at all, but for a quick overnight stay in the Kawartha’s at half the price of other hotels in the area, it worked just fine for us.

The room was good. The property needs to be cleaned up. The parking lot area and entrance off the road give a bad first impression. Remove surplus construction materials and out buildings. Fix broken entrance sign. This place could be a bit more successful with a little more attention paid to aesthetics.

Our room was clean but needed repairs. The light fixture in bathroom had 3 bulbs but only 1 worked leaving shower very dark. The sink faucet was rusty and needed replacing. Same with bathtub faucet. There was no fan in bathroom. The air conditioner was very noisy so we couldn’t have it on. The coffee pot didn’t work. There was a lot of junk on the grounds outside of the Inn. Unlikely we will stay there again.

The room was newly decorated, and looked great. The king size bed was also very nice. The negatives could easily be fixed - microwave & coffee maker didn't work, the toilet didn’t flush properly & the
fridge was unplugged & we had to lift it out of it's cubby to plug it in. If they fix these issues, it would be a good deal for the price.

Inside of room was clean, and updated somewhat. Few notes, no mirror in bathroom, no hair dryer, no shelves in bathroom. Towels were on desk table in room. Property was a little worse for wear than I thought. I new coat of paint on the outside of room doors would help immensly. The house trailer beside the office, and junk around it does not help the place to look great. Room over all, you get what you pay for. It was a place to lay my head.

For the price, we were EXTREMELY impressed with the quality, cleanliness and size of the room. The customer service was also exceptional. We head out for the night and accidentally left our room key in the room. It was 3:00 a.m when we returned/needed help and we were assisted right away.

It was the dirtiest hotel room I’ve been in years. Bodily fluids everywhere, The linens were old and had holes in them. It was more of a walk in and walk out and find a different hotel room type of place. I didn’t want to touch anything in the room not even the door handle on the way out. My suggestion is good to go to days Inn and pay the extra one hundred dollars.

The man(I think he was the owner) who checked us in and out was very nice. The room was spotless We thought the furnishings were almost new but to our surprise nope We found out they are redoing and getting new furniture in early 2023 We will definitely be booking a stay there next summer Also one the cheapest dollar wise in probably all of the Kawartha Lakes

This place is disgusting at best. The bed sheets had stains all over them and looked like the hadn't been cleaned in months. The blanket had cigarette burn holes all over and pizza stuck to it. The safety bar in the shower was actually in the closet still in it's unopened package. The shower curtains are stained red at the bottom like someone was just murdered here. The so called desk was all covered in burn spots from cigarette burns. Then when I demanded my money back the manager wanted me to show him the room. I showed him the things wrong with it and he tells me that that is all fine. On no planet is any of this acceptable what so ever. Then at the end of this he says he is refunding me and hands me a print out of it. To my wonderful surprise the next morning he just reprinted the original payment and now I have to go through my credit card company to get my money back. This place is disgusting and dishonest stay away.
