We didn’t make use of the free breakfast but the room was dated but very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The pillows weee very thin. I would stay here again.

It was okay. Not the cleanest but if you don’t look too close what you don’t know can’t hurt you. The heater was LOUD and kept us up all night. Staff was friendly. Tv was hard to work but staff came in and fixed it. Parking is tight.
For the price it’s okay, heat, hydro, bathroom. Beds were awful, though.

Staff member that was there all weekend was very friendly.
Breakfast was ok but not great. Bacon and hard boiled eggs, cereal, toast and oatmeal.
Room was okay, very dated. Cobwebs and dust in the bathroom on the ceiling, water was brown when we first turned on tap. Hot water takes a few minutes to kick on.
Beds were awful. Stains on the sheet and you could feel the springs.

Room clean and warm. Bathroom clean and warm but minimal water flow to sink faucet. Shower water pressure was fine. Grateful for hot shower. Noisy heater prevented uninterrupted sleep.
On arrival, receptionist asked to keep my credit card to cover $200 security deposit. He said the card would be returned upon check-out. I refused and requested the card be processed to provide a receipt for the pending transaction. He complied. Next day, an hour or so after checkout, I checked the bank statement. A $200 credit had been applied to offset the security deposit debit.

The floor was very old, looked unclean as it was very old flooring and very dark.

Was ok. One fella doing the whole thing from check in to cleaning to breakfast.. booked a 2 dbl, smoking room only to find out on arrival, no smoking. Given an upgrade at the desk only to find out its the same room once we got to it. Overall, an ok stay. Room was very musty but we made it work

Paid for a 2 night stay, almost $400. Second morning there was a power outage. We had no electricity and water. Wasn’t able to warm up my son’s bottles. Couldn’t shower, no breakfast. Wasn’t offered an apology, or discount. Upon asking for a supervisor, employee called them and then had the entire conversation in their language so we couldn’t understand. Very disappointed. Not even close to being worth $400

The smell in the lobby and in the room was a horrible moldy smell. The couch looked so dirty that i used a towel to sit on. Bed, couch and toilet were so low. Hard to get up out of them. For the price of $200 and the Howard Johnson name I was expecting a lot more.

They charged me a 200 damage deposit, but didn't clean the yellow stains, running down the wall in the bathroom and the water was black. The comforter on my bed had blood on it. The room had an overpowering smell of cigars. Had to open the windows hours before we were able to sleep in there.

I never actually stayed at the property, it was booked for a ball tournament that was cancelled last second. Hotel would not entertain requests from me or Expedia for a refund or to change dates (with no refund, even offered to pay a upcharge) simply said you’re out of luck. The manager was unavailable and would not return calls even when promised. I assume that was because of the overwhelming number of cancellations. However, I would expect better from Howard Johnson’s. There are many other better choices in every city.

Improper and bad service as well poor judgement.

Breakfast was a disaster since Saturday it took twenty minutes to have done actually find time to refill the food area. There was no one at the front desk where a clients waited for anyone to appear. The expectation to have breakfast before 10 am de as alone was failing the designate time s. No food available since the desk person appear to say he was sorry but was cleaning rooms and had no one else available until after 9 am. The photo of the lobby shows clean clear area . Office ladies room had no towels for the two mornings we stayed. The floor in our room 24 was broken at foot of bed. The floor outside of the bathroom was broken . The room itself smelled and felt damp.
Bad place to stay and needs updating immediate. You should pay people to stay there. If this is your company’s idea of a hotel you need to send someone to actually inspect it.

Great family vacation!

Room was clean, except for the carpet. AC worked, large TV, no coffee/tea in the room (even though they provided a coffee machine and a cup), but was provided at breakfast. Cute room, good breakfast with lots of options and everything was fresh. Bed was firm, but comfy enough for sleeping, only 3 pillows were provided for 2 adults (wish they gave you 4 pillows), but they were alright. And the property offered nice, cozy vibes. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are very basic, the rooms look run down with multiple patches on walls. Some mold noted under sink in bathroom, and on ceiling. Mattresses are old and could use an update. Not luxury... But better than sleeping outside. At least the staff were friendly and very happy to help when called.

Smoke free room that I ordered was beside a smoking room. Guest literally were smoking in front of windows. Not great for my allergies.

Particularly during breakfast, there was no staff around. Had to wait for the coffee to be refilled, juice was running out and even the bread was running out.

No one was in the receptionist area when I was logging out and a tiny cockroach casually crawled on the receptionist's area.

The room was OK but the floor was sticky, and the water in the sink and shower smelled heavily like metal. While I have stayed in other properties, this one is definitely one that I will not go back to.

My spouse has mobility issues. We chose a motel so we could park in front of our room. While out, another guest parked in front of our room resulting in us having to walk a distance to our room. At 5 am the vehicle that was backed up in front of our window ran non stop until 6:30. Exhaust fumes and noise disrupting our sleep. Very inconsiderate.

This listing is deceptive. It's like an old roadside motel that someone bought a Howard Johnson sign to stick out front. I was quoted a rate through my Canadian Expedia account of 88.00 and the credit card charge went through as USD. Cost me $100 extra.
The shower/bath tubs in this motel have slippery footing and there are no rubber bathmats provided in any room. One of my party slipped and fell, gashing their eyebrow open and needing a number of towels to clean up the blood. This Howard Johnson should count themselves fortunate if they don't get sued.

My master card didn't have enough room for a 200$ dollar incidental. So I couldn't get the room booked. Luckily they said 500$ cash or debit was fine to! I asked upon checking on my first night if they could get me a room for the next night also. They said they would, and They didn't. I was left without somewhere to stay while working abroad. Since all the other hotels were booked due to a plow match or something. Breakfast was laughable. And just book whatever room. They are all the same, other than bed size. Service was very slow. And the front desk closes at night so don't lock yourself out.
