Please note, to better serve you, our hotel is currently undergoing renovations until the end of 2014, including the pool, which will be closed until March 31, 2015. We thank you for your understanding.

Rooms are very clean, staff is great. Downside during our stay was we were downstairs for breakfast and there was no food, plates, glasses or staff. There was bread and cereal but no hot items. It was 9am. My husband had to go to the front desk and ask for staff to replenish. There were only 4 people at the time in the breakfast room.

Our first room had an exterior door that did not seal, snow and wind blew into our room all night. Staff did move us to another room the next day however could not provide another discount or compensation. The extra bedding for the pull out sofa was inadequate and the blankets were old and rough. The pool was very dirty and poorly maintained.
We were eventually refunded our money.

We were put on a floor which was in the process of renovations. There was no flooring in the hallways. This was very disappointing. The fridge in our room was not working properly. Its the best place to stay in Camrose! The staff is amazing, thry do anything they can to be of assistance. The hotel is clean, efficient, has a good breakfast and nice breakfast room. Many choices girctyoes of rooms including a gorgeous upgrade \"Honeymoon Suite.\" They have a pool and hottub. Whats not to like?

The stay was very good. Room, breakfast and service and parking top notch. The pool area was not the greatest. The jaccuzi was an embarrassment. Jets were not working, tiles were peeling off. It has been totally ignored when it comes to repairs, we stayed there 6 months ago and it was not working then.

The hotel wasnt full at all but they couldnt fill my request that i asked for a bottom floor room with outside door but instead they said oh your 4th floor . The pool is filthy. Yhey should just shut it down n run the canalta hotel much better hotel

I completely understand that bringing a dog to a hotel you should be required to sign, stating that you will not leave your dog attended, will not allow your dog to bark or be loud, etc, etc. and I am ok to pay the $25/per night pet fee. However I completely disagree that children are left unattended to run through the halls screaming and yelling, blocking and holding up the elevator, and the parents do not have to pay an extra fee. There was no trace that my dog was in our hotel room the day we left…I’d bet the cleaning staff couldn’t say that for a room full of kids…at least the garbage left out in the hall this morning would suggest this…

Not a terrible hotel to stay at but not great either. Seemed to be in a safe location surrounded by grocery stores and various dining options (within close driving distance). Our room was quiet. Mattresses were comfortable with soft pillows. The carpeting was dated and torn in many places - seriously time for an upgrade. The thermostat did not regulate the temperature in the room. Our bathroom was far from meeting expectations - peeling wallpaper with a blood stain near the garbage, lifting floor tiles under the sink, clogged sink drain, and really poor electricity that seemed to forewarn a fire. The lobby has been renovated, which made for a good first impression of the hotel. But the room was in dire need for the same. We would consider staying elsewhere until this ramada improves property maintenance. Value for money spent was poor for our room. Glad it was only a 1-night stay.

The pool was not operational. I specifically booked this hotel oi that we could enjoy a swim.
The person at the desk said that she would supply us with towels and we could go to their adjacent hotel across the parking lot to use their pool. I would have booked at the other establishment had I known about the pool problem, but no, I was expected to walk in my swim suit and I guess, carry a bag with a change of cloths and jacket etc. Not sure where we were supposed to change either. I asked for a discount to be put on my card. Of course the clerk said that nothing could be done. I am sure she just wanted me to go away. Lesson learned! I will never book a hotel online again without first calling them to make sure the amenities they offer and that we are paying for, are truly there and in good working order. All they had to do was put a notification out.
