We’ve stayed here the past 2 years for a volleyball tournament at the Orange County Convention Center. It’s a pretty basic place but it’s clean and comfortable and we loved the fact that it is only about a 10 minute walk to the OCCC which is right across the street. It’s in a great location with an IHOP on site, a McDonald’s, Red Lobster, Denny’s, and Walgreens very close by and other restaurants within walking distance (less than half a mile away). The staff there are friendly and helpful as well.

This is an older style hotel, with exterior door entrances on balconies, but we loved it, in town for a volleyball tournament. The pool was very deep on one end, which was cool and refreshing on hot days. Very convenient walk to the convention center, IHOP (at the hotel), and Denny's. Other dining options also within walking distance. Convenience store nice to have across street.

We stayed here for the AAU volleyball tournament, as it is about a 5-minute walk to the convention center. That is the good thing about this place. In terms of cleanliness and maintenance, this was by far one of the worst motels (because it is a motel) or hotels we ever stayed at. There was mold on the walls, ceiling, shower grout, etc. In addition, there was a musty smell in the room, and even in the open air \"hallways\". The floors were so dirty upon arrival, we had to keep our flips flops the whole time. The sink faucets were terrible and spitting water everywhere, the shower pressure was inexistent, there was visible dirt and dust on lamps, baseboards, headboards. The sheets didn't seem very clean, but we realized why. Upon departure, in the morning, the cleaning crew were distributing \"clean\" sheets to the different floors before starting the rounds. But the distribution consisted of throwing a bunch of clean and folded sheets on the ground of the exterior hallways, at the entrance of each wing. The attached ihop is far from better. When we went for breakfast, a roach was crawling ON the table right in front of the entrance. You can also hear the sirens and the traffic right across the street from early morning until late at night. If you are easily bothered by sounds when you sleep, I would advise you stay somewhere else. Side note: the employees are friendly, helpful and do their very best, but this place really needs to be completely torn down.

This is motel. Don’t get catfished like I did. A hotel company bought it and half a$$ renovated it. AC works as well as a 79’ ford, I don’t think there was ever a time I stopped sweating. Everything in the room was rusty from the constant moisture in the air.

I’ll be fair, the bed was very comfortable, location is perfect if you’re going to the convention center, it’s a 5 minute walk, lots of food options close by.

The 6:30am fire alarm was the icing on the rusty cake for me. 1/10 would not return. Only gets one because the bed was comfortable

The elevator near my room was broken. This hotel was in the conference block that I booked through and I had to leave after one night. I woke throughout the night with terrible itching to finally find by 4:30am the amount of bite marks I had all over after arriving late in the evening and going straight to bed it was only from the hotel. It has been almost a week and I still have little bites all over me. I had to see a doctor it was not bed bugs but likely bed mites. It was horrible. I moved to the Rosen Conference Center which was well worth the move.

Rooms were clean and up to date, but basic. The beds were comfortable, and the AC cooled well. No coffee maker in the room (available by request), but there was a McDonalds next door, so I usually just picked up a cup there when I returned from my morning workout. No fitness room, but the neighborhood is conducive to walking and running. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked inviting. I'm a little spoiled by places that offer complimentary breakfast, but with an IHOP onsite and a McDonalds just steps away we did not go hungry. Staff was very helpful and gave good tips for getting to and from the convention center. Good value for the money.

Brandon at the front desk was absolutely amazing. The hotel was conveniently located & within walking distance of the Premiere Orlando Show. Also restaurants were within walking distance as well.

The only major issue was our room had been gone through. As far as we could tell nothing was taken. However it still doesn’t negate the fact that someone took the time to go through our personal items but didn’t so much as refresh our room or even leave clean towels. We did report it, so far we haven’t been contacted or told any outcome over the situation.

This was a cost-effective option while I attended a convention at the nearby Orange County Convention Center. The Center was well within walking distance, although depending on the temperature and heat and how much you're carrying, perhaps a car ride may be helpful. The rooms are fairly dated, although my own room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C system is loud, and hard to fine-tune easily. I also wished there were a few more easily accessible plugs and outlets for my gadgets.

Pros: Affordable; clean; a short walk to the convention center. They do not have breakfast, but they are attached to an IHOP. My room on the 2nd floor had good water pressure, but my colleague's room only 4 doors away did not. It is sort of hit or miss.

Cons: Even with air conditioning the room has a damp smell to it (it is, after all, central Florida); A coffee maker is \"available upon request,\" but not a regular feature in the room; the rooms are not well lit; on one day housekeeping came by to clean my room at 5:30 p.m., which was inconvenient.

Overall: If all you need is a clean comfortable bed and a hot shower in the morning at an affordable price, this is fine. Not luxurious, but perfectly adequate.

Proximity and walking distance to the convention center was great. Easy trolley system up and down International Avenue. Lots of restaurants in the area plus IHop attached to the hotel. The room was ok but could really use an upgrade. Old fixtures. No toilet lid. Fan only put the humid air back into the bathroom. That being said the shower was nice and never a problem with hot water. Comfy bed and pillows.
The AC was never able to remove the humidity and the air was stale. Very impressed with the positivity and helpfulness of the staff during checkin. Several positives with this property but needs to be updated in some areas. The pool area was clean and nice.
