Front desk clerk was friendly and organized. The building itself is older but nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was new and shower was excellent! Location was great- walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

3rd time staying here with our poodle. Always return as big room with area to eat with table and chairs, close by grocery store and fast food, fridge, microwave, always well cleaned and no rug which helps with our pet allergy.

VERY nice motel, it is exceptionally well maintained and updated. We walked into downtown easily in under 10 minutes, a McDonalds and Timmiies within 5 minute or less walks. Absolutely will stay here again.

This motel was old but was super clean. I asked for a covid clean room because I have autoimmune illness and they certainly did a grest job giving me a clean room. The staff was friendly and helpful with some recommendations for eating out. The surround area was not so clean but that is because of the gravel and sand laid down for the snow. Definity not modern but we were happy with what we got.

The biggest surprise was the bathroom. Super fancy shower and renovated bathroom that was amazing. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were incredible. I will be choosing this motel everytime I travel to Smithers!

Bed was okay, but pillows were mushy. Bathroom had been updated (give that a 4), but the room was very sad. Three pieces of mismatched furniture, the kind you’d get at a yard sale. Shabby curtains. AC unit (freestanding and connected to window) put out little cool air, and sounded like a car engine every time it turned on.

My overall experience not good. I had body pain every day morning when I woke up. I stayed for 3 nights,yet no room service. No proper Air conditioner. They had a portable AC but not effective for the room. Bed sheets were not that good. I like the quietness and walkable distance to shops.

Our room had lots of space, which was nice with 3 dogs. We booked online, which saved us some money, but the rooms are affordable either way. The bed was comfortable and the bedding had good quality sheets and a thick duvet to curl up in! The tub was so deep, I took full advantage and spent over 2 hrs enjoying my bath! Lots of plug ins, staff were uber friendly, and the onsite laundry and kitchen were an unexpected bonus!
The only thing I would suggest would be to change the baseboard heater in our room; the front kept falling off and it was a little loud when it turned on and off, but that's an easy fix! Most everything was within walking distance (thank God cuz our truck broke down and there's no cabs there) which was also nice.
Overall we had a pleasant stay and we will definitely be back next time we find ourselves in Smithers!

Large fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities within the hotel available to all guests making it convenient if staying any length of time.
