Room was outdated. Breakfast was limited and not restocked. Each time I went down for breakfast the eggs and sausage were gone. Even the drink & snack machine was all but empty. It also felt uncomfortable coming in at night with folks hanging out around the front entrance smoking. Just didn't feel safe.

Only stayed here because it was the only location where I could get a room even close to State College. Motel is old and the rooms overpriced (>$300/night). Room was dirty. Glad we only slept here for a few hours. Arrived late (1:30 AM and left a few hours later (~8AM)

Motel is in poor condition, WiFi advertised was so poor could not use tablet to watch apps. When I asked about the poor internet service he showed me his phone and said look I'm connected. When trying to check out the language barrier was so bad it took me 15 minutes to get a receipt.

An older motel, however the room pictures are accurate and the room was clean. The bathroom tub and sink in the bathroom didn't drain well. My main warning is on the level of noise - from the A/C and refrigerator inside the room and the noise from the road and railroad trains passing in the night.

I arrive at the budget in told the girl i had reservation she had to get someone to check me in.
Then i found a bug on the bed i had to check the bed to make sure there wasnt anymore .
Called ask for an extra pillow . They told me they didnt have any extra pillow.
I have family member that worked in hotel/ motels they shouldve had extra . I WILl NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

This is very much an hotel for those on a very limited budget. Things that didn't work:
1. TV cable signal didn't work.
2. The phone in the room didn't work.
3. Even though advertised, I have no wifi signal in my room. I used my vehicle wifi as a substitute, but had to sit outside to get that signal.
4. It's the first hotel I've been in, (and I've been in a lot), that did not have Kleenex available in the room.

The young woman running the hotel admitted she was new to the job. She was very friendly, and was able to offer me some restaurant suggestions when I arrived.

Where do I start, first off the \"staff\" who live on site are not friendly and acted as if I bothered them during check in and check out. The room, was straight out of a horror scene. The sheets were note clean, the entire room was filthy, and the furniture is recycled from other hotels. Every thing had other hotels branding on it. The shower was disgusting and did not appear to have been cleaned in several weeks. There was still hair from previous guest on the walls of the shower. None of the outlets worked except the power strip that had the TV, Cable Box, minifridge, and clock plugged into it. The heat/ac unit barely controlled the temperature in the room and looked and ran like it was on its last leg.

While I did not expect the room to be 5 star this clearly was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Would not stay at or recommend anyone staying there. Luckily I was only there one night and if it wasn't so late when I got there I would have left and gone someplace else.

I stayed for 11 pm to 7 am only one night at budget Inn and woke up with spots all over my face and body BED BUGS .When I called the Motel to complain they asked my why I wait to tell them this was an issue.I called less than 24hrs after checking out .They were rude I would not suggest staying there.

Look Folks. We stayed there one night after a Penn State football game. It's about 44 miles from State College but the only thing available. At first concerned about the bad reviews but honestly it was clean, quiet, beds were sufficiently comfortable. Bathroom clean and good enough. Overpriced due to huge game in town. Not for long term stays. Guys, not an issue. Ladies, will complain. Overall it served its purpose.

Well to start check in time was 2pm. I arrive at 4pm and I was told ten minutes to clean the room. Twenty minutes later they give me the key and said it is all ready. I go to the room they were still cleaning it. I had a event I needed to be at so I just left my stuff in the room and left. Come back later my stuff was still there so that is a positive. The room smelled and was no where clean. Yes the place is old and needs some major renovations. But you can atleast make sure it is clean and smells half way decent. All it takes a little elbow grease. For the cost it was terrible. Only thing convenient was location.

We found the bedroom and bathroom to be too dirty to stay. We walked in looked the place over and decided we wouldn’t feel comfortable sleep there. The pillowcases were dirty. The tub had hair all over it. The tub floor was dirty. The dirt hand prints on the bathroom door were also unpleasant.

I drove up from IL I had a 11 Hr drive to get there. I was to be there on Sunday night but I had the opening to leave Saturday at 2:00pm and showed up around 2 am Sunday morning. I was able to get my room if a paid a extra night Which would be for Saturday no Problem. First thing I what'd todo was to get some sleep I went to fold back the the topper and move the pillows There were dead bugs grouped together under the pillow with traces of dark spots on the pillows and sheets . I went to the other bed and looked under the pillows did not see any thing and this is at around 3 am I did have my zip up bed roll with me I slept with a my cloths on and the bed roll zipped up. With 4 flying Moths or some thing fly all night . Got up early took a shower with my socks on the tub and surrounding remined me of old hunting camp in Minnesota. Not clean I did not expect this place to be 5 star but -5star come on . I asked for my second night credit I was told call expedia so far not eazy to get to so i called my card people to make sure I get my 1 day refund. Larry L

This hotel was a nightmare. I was here for a conference in the area I was a guest at. The room was dirty, needing many updates. There were no washcloths, and when I went to dry my hair the plug in the bathroom did not work. I had to go out to where you sleep to plug the hairdryer into a stip plug that was dirty, and I had no mirror to see how my hair was drying!!! Also, the electric went out SEVERAL times when I tried to dry my hair. Not a good way to prepare for a conference!!! My son got a soda out of the vending machine said it didn't taste right, and it expired 2 years before. Hotels.com would not refund my money. DO NOT STAY HERE....I warned you....

Easy, friendly, quick check in. Worn out condition was expected but had hoped for better cleanliness (bee crawling on microwave; fly in room; hair in sink drain; something spilled and dried on wall by desk; fire alarm hanging from wires out of wall). Could hear next unit's tv in middle of the night (was not super loud - just thin walls so like hearing constant, mumbled talking while trying to fall asleep). Worked in a pinch. Towels and sheets clean.

Its what to be expected for the money.

It was your typical cheaper hotel. Really old AC/heat system. I did like the single floor so I can drive my truck up next to my room to offload any luggage.
They had good water pressure.
There were some random ants and flies in the room. Some paint and such missing off the walls.
Most comfortable pillows Ive had in while. Something firm and not paper thin.
The fridge didnt cool or freeze much, but better than not having one at all I guess.
I had expected room service to come in and redo my bed sheets and give me fresh towels while I was gone for the day time but that did not happen.
Also did not find any wifi password.

We came in very late, we waited at the desk and rang the bell several times and woke up the attendant. After thinking we paid on Expedia, we had to pay for the hotel upon arrival. Then, we have this scary room from a horror film with a pink bathtub from the 70's where stopper doesn't work and the water from the shower doesn't come straight, but flies out of the shower making the floor a wet, slippery, unsafe environment. Then, we woke up the attendant again in the morning when we were leaving after ringing the bell multiple times and couldn't even get an itemized receipt - only the credit card receipt I received the night before. It was an expensive night for a few hours and outside of the bathroom, we may as well have saved the money and slept in our car!

You get what you pay for. I stayed here a few times before this last stay because I wanted to give a fair review. The room has everything you need. The issue is the heat. It literally takes over an hour for the room to heat up. This week I waited three hours and it was freezing. I moved to a new room which also took a few hours to warm up. I went to sleep wearing two pairs of pants, two pairs of socks, and winter gloves. Around 0330 I was finally able to take off the extra items and sleep. I can’t afford to get sick, won’t be staying here during the cold season again.

Check in was ok-it took a few minutes as the clerk wasn't sure how to run a credit card. Room had a funny small like it hadn't been aired out recently (i needed to get spray freshener at a store) I wiped down the room with antibacterial wipes and picked up a lot of dirt and grime. Door security lock didn't work, the plugs by the bed were so loose you couldn't plug in a phone charger. The bathroom sink squirted water everywhere. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot were the only redeeming qualities. The price should be lower for the overall quality of the motel.

When I mentioned the price difference the desk person told me there is no price difference in their rooms and I could just cancel if I didn’t want the room. Then proceeded to scold me at check out when I mentioned the difference again and said they are different and he said prices change daily.

It was a reasonable place to sleep for one night. They were renovating so there were carpets and crates piled in front of the parking spot in front of our door. My son was moving into the dorms so we had a lot of stuff in the car, and I would’ve preferred to be able to park right in front of my room. I was surprised there was no Wi-Fi. I think this is literally the only place I have been in America that does not have Wi-Fi now. The bedsheets were clean and the room was reasonably clean. The bathroom floor was not and there were dust bunnies and a dead bug on the floor among other things. The back of the bathroom door was painted white but the middle third had a big patch where the paint was peeled off.
Not someplace I’d choose to stay again.

The motel itself wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed. the heating and cooling for the room was a bit outdated. considering I was in town for a family event and did not spend much time at the motel it served it's purpose. the front desk clerk was friendly enough and check in and out were both quick and painless. my only complaint is the cost of the accommodations. I have stayed in way nicer places for a lot less than this mildly newly-ish renovated motel. it was quick and convenient to where I needed to go which was the primary reason I chose it but in future trips will probably stay elsewhere with the cost being so high.

Room heating is old. Took over an hour to get the room to proper temperature. My kids were huddled with jackets under the blanket the whole time. We fell asleep trying to get warm only to wake up in the middle of the night sweating because the heating didn’t shut off. Had to turn down the heat and open a door to make the room bearable. There were dead bugs found around the room. Made the room feel very dirty and made you think there were bugs all over the beds while you slept. Over all, will tell anybody and everybody to avoid and spend the extra cash for a reputable hotel chain. How are places like this still open?!

Manager not at all customer service minded!

I verified parking when I checked in as I was in a commercial vehicle. The manager later called my room, waking me up, and proceeded to shout at me to tell me I needed to move the vehicle. He then suggested I park my vehicle across the street. I reminded him of our previous conversation where he assured me where I parked was acceptable but he continued to berate me and tell me to park across the street. I told him I would be letting my vehicle in the parking lot as I paid for my room at that hotel but would be happy to move it to a spot that appeased him.

My room was also without heat (it's November). I was very tired and did not think I would get anywhere with the heat after our parking conversation so I just went back to sleep. When I checked out the following morning, I informed the manager about the lack of heat, and he could not have been more disinterested. He literally shrugged his shoulders, walked away from me and returned into his office.
